I’m the captain of Earth’s moonbase. I can handle any mission. I do not need a partner, even if he is a sexy-as-sin alien commander, who looks at me like he’s trying to decide between throttling me or…something else.

His grumpy demeanor and dominant streak make me want to shake him, but I can’t deny the heat between us. Do I dare put my hand to the flame? I’ve been burned before. And I’ve guarded my heart ever since.

As we travel to a distant planet to find the rare substance that will save both our kinds, we soon discover the inhabitants have some odd customs. And if we don’t follow their sensual mandates, they’ll withhold the bounty.

The survival of the Earth-Rhonar treaty depends on our success. We can’t afford to fail. But when victory depends on a death-do-us-part bond, can I put my heart on the line and trust again? And will this alien warrior lower his defenses to let me?

Only the stars know.

Alien’s Temptation is a sci-fi romance and book three in the Earth Brides and Alien Warriors series, but it can be read as a standalone. Will they find their brides? Steamy seduction, fated mates, and a happily-ever-after guaranteed.

Alien’s Temptation is my first venture into the recently trending alien romance genre. I have to say, this story is fun and the characters are great. Though they try to deny their attraction to one another, fated mates Jane and Tor come together to become a seriously compatible couple.
This ebook does contain a handful of errors, and needs a bit more editing to correct some grammar and a few word choice instances.
Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this book in exchange for my own, unbiased review.

Alien Warrior Romance with Heart, Heat, and High Stakes

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💚💜💙
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Chemistry: 🧪🧪🧪🧪
World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌏
Character development: 😋🙂🙃😍
Narrator(s): 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Narration type: Dual Narration

🦸🏼‍♀️ Heroine: Jane

Jane, the formidable captain of Earth’s Moon Base, is no stranger to danger. After a harrowing spacewalk nearly cost her sister Sage her life, Jane watched helplessly as Sage drifted into the void—only to be rescued by a Rhonar warrior who turned out to be her fated mate. Though their bond isn’t legally recognized due to unresolved tensions between Earth and the Rhonar, Jane is genuinely happy for her sister. Now, Jane finds herself on a high-stakes mission with the Rhonar commander himself, tasked with retrieving a rare mineral critical to Earth’s defense—and the future of the fragile treaty between their peoples.

🦸🏻‍♂️ Hero: Tor

Tor, the stoic and powerful leader of the Rhonar race, is a warrior shaped by loss. Since the death of their females, Rhonar males endure two phases: the Hunger, a desperate yearning for connection, and the Void, a state of emotional numbness. Tor has lived in the Void—until Jane. The mate bond calls to him, but with the treaty still in limbo, he refuses to claim her, choosing duty over desire. His restraint adds a layer of tension to their already volatile dynamic.

🔥 The Story

Tor and Jane’s mission launches aboard a spaceship, but emotional turbulence rivals the cosmic kind. Tor relies on his Florin—a tiny, otherworldly creature with whom Rhonar share a symbiotic bond—to help regulate the overwhelming emotions triggered by his connection to Jane. From Jane’s perspective, Tor is a grumpy, emotionally constipated alien who treats her with cold disdain. But she’s no pushover. Determined to succeed, she pushes back with equal force, sparking a slow-burn tension that crackles through their journey.

💡 What Worked

• 🐾 The Florin creature was a delightful surprise—equal parts adorable and fascinating, adding depth to Rhonar culture.
• ✨ Each Rhonar warrior possesses a unique ability, which adds intrigue and variety to the alien race.
• 🚀 The story delivers plenty of action and adventure, keeping the pace lively and the stakes high.

⚠️ What Didn’t Work

• 🛸 Tor’s emotional distraction leads to a major tactical blunder—forgetting to engage stealth mode and putting both lives at risk. It felt out of character for a seasoned commander.
• 🥊 The climactic fight scene dragged a bit longer than necessary, diluting its impact.

🎙 Narration

Told in dual POV with dual narration, the audiobook features Elle Sonali and Aiden Snow. Aiden Snow’s velvety voice is a perfect match for Tor—deep, restrained, and undeniably sexy. Elle Sonali brings Jane to life with intelligence and emotional nuance, capturing both her strength and vulnerability. Their performances elevate the story, making the tension and chemistry between the leads all the more immersive.

Tor's planet was ravaged when the Versaken killed all their female's. Now the males become empty, without emotion because they don't have mate's. But Tor's people, the Rhonar Warriors have found that they can mate with human females if they can find a mate among the Earthlings. But the Earth's government won't agree to a treaty between our two people's unless the Rhonar Warriors can prove that they can keep Earth safe.

So Jane, who is a captain of Earth's moonbase agrees to go on a mission with the grumpy Tor to Sense VII to get ergamite, which would prove to Earth's government that they would be safe. But Tor is very gruff with Jane because he's trying not to act on his feelings for her since he knows she is his mate. But he wants to wait to tell her until there is a treaty between their people. But their passion will not take a back seat to this mission. Not when they are both lusting after each other. No matter how short or iterating Tor is to Jane, she still finds him to be a very handsome alien that she has a hard time not fantasizing about even when she wants to throttle him.

The snarkiness between them was really funny to watch because she has no idea how hard he is trying not to give in to his feelings. She just thinks that he's a jerk so she pushes his buttons to drive him crazy at every turn. That was fun to watch.

What they have to endure together once on Sense VII in order to get the ergamite, was comical but it really brought them closer together and made it impossible for Tor not to show her he isn't the jerk she thinks he is. This is my first time reading this author or this series but I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.

I received a free copy via Netgalley in exchange for a honest review.

This is a quick read.

For a Women who was supposed to be a strong character, it did feel she gave in just too quickly, where lust seemed to over come her brain.

It would have been even quicker read if some of the sex scenes were removed.

This really was not for me.

TBH, i fell asleep for 10 mins while listening to this and i woke up to the FMC calling the MMC “master” when literally ten mins ago she was offering to fight him bc they didn’t get along and needed to get their hatred out of their systems before they go off on a space mission.

I’m never calling anyone master. Fuck that shit. And def not calling my fated mate master.

This sweet romance is an excellent addition to Tina Ross’s Earth Brides and Alien Warriors. If you haven’t read anything from this author, you should. I love the strong female heroines in this series…tough as nails yet feminine. It’s a perfect balance. Of course her Rhonar warriors are the stuff us readers dream of. In this book, Captain Jane and Commander Tor discover the love they had both been seeking. Excellent ❤️❤️❤️.

Alien's Temptation
Earth Brides & Alien Warriors, Book 3
by Tina Moss

I received a digital copy of this ebook from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is the 3rd book in the series and while one could probably enjoy it fine if you’re not too picky needing world building details and distracted by call backs to other books it’s probably best that they be read in order.

Here we have two Alpha personalities on a mission together challenging for control and unable to resist the pull of being fated mates but only he knows about the fated mates thing! Oh nos! But wait she’s on board with the canoodling so it’s fine.

This is a sci fi alien romance space adventure with high steam, a couple tense dangerous moments and is on the shorter side which is just what I need sometimes.
Great read. 5/5

Not sure about this one

I liked the two previous books in this series. Good characters, interesting plot, hot sex. While this book has some of that, it lacks in some areas.

The male lead is a mature alpha, definitely hanging on to some old sadness and certain there's no good future awaiting him. He's quite interesting until about halfway through the story, when he pretty much becomes a 2-dimensional sex toy that stands in as target practice for the bad guys. No further character development really, just the guy that does a good bit of claimin' of the female lead and gets shot at alot. I kinda lost interest in him then. That's a shame, because I was excited about an older male lead. I hoped for some real character depth. Nope.

The female lead started off great. Strong, ambitious, a capable leader, she soon turns into a giggly, second string player to the alpha, even though she saves him a couple of times. She was sort of a badass, but that didn't stand out as a main characteristic. She seemed to turn into a character who became the girlfriend. Not sure what happened there.

The weirder thing was when the whole plot appeared to fall into an Evangeline Anderson story, complete with a mandatory public sex scene for the leads, followed by a trip to a magical planet. To obtain something they needed, the pair had to undergo several "tests" that couldn't be described but instead "experienced." Right. Bet you can guess what these "tests" involved. Now I'm not trying to yuck anybody's yum, as I know Evangeline Anderson has an army of loving fans. I'm just saying this reader wasn't thrilled to be dropped into one of her books without choice.

And speaking of lots of sex, what is with all the screaming? Isn't a female lead allowed to express her sexual satisfaction in any way other than screaming? I don't get this trope that's become the only way we read about a woman's orgasms now. After a few orgasm scenes with a whole lotta screamin' this reader just gets numb to the whole scene. It's like massive overkill. Authors, please investigate the many ways a woman can express her sexual satisfaction and try some out.

So it's anyone's guess what the next book in this series will bring. If I knew it would be an action packed story with more world building, a romance and hot sex, I'd sign right up. But after this experience, I may wait and see what other reviewers say about subsequent books.

We get insta lust, near insta emotions and romance, and fast plot development in Alien’s Temptation. If you like humanoid alien romance, fated mates, forced proximity, and want a quick read - this is a decent pick.

The series title is an apt description: Earth Brides and Alien Warriors is exactly what you get. Personally, I really like this trope. Alien’s Temptation is the version of the trope with the Earth bride also being a warrior - Jane is a captain in the military with a type-A personality. Tor, our alien warrior, is a member of a species that needs females to mate with. He immediately knows Jane is his mate, and Jane is instantly attracted to him as well. They have a special mission to complete that requires them working together as an interspecies team.

While this book had all of the elements I like in an alien romance, it just didn’t come together successfully for me. I think there was too much going on for the length of the book. There is a lot of plot and world building which felt a bit rushed. For the plot, when I got to new chapters I was surprised that things had moved along so quickly to the next major plot point. When it came to world building, a lot of it was done through Jane asking “what is that?” or “what did he mean by that?”, or Tor offering explanations of things which Jane wouldn’t know. This just isn’t one of my favorite devices, it feels clunky.

Because of the ambitious plot and world building, there isn’t as much room for the relationship development between Jane and Tor. I think this is unfortunate because it’s my favorite element of any romance. There just wasn’t much build up to the “you are mine” moment.

That said, things get pretty steamy and at one point, Jane has to put on an act that really heats things up (I can’t say more without spoilers).

Overall, I think I would have enjoyed it more with a less ambitious plot within this length, or with there being more pages for the narrative and romance to develop. If you have an alien romance itch you want scratched, this definitely does it with all the best elements of the genre.

A fun space adventure with peril, humor and some sizzling steamy moments.

Captain Jane is paired with Commander Tor a Rhondar warrior with traveling to a distant space galaxy to obtain a rare mineral needed to fuel a defense system for Earth. In exchange for helping Earth to defend itself, the Rhondar will be able to seek brides among Earth women.

Tor is especially motivated for his mission with Jane to be successful because he recognizes she is his fated mate. His honor prevents him from claiming her until the mission is successful and his brethren can also claim mates. He is living in the fine edge of strong attraction to Jane and has purposely been rude and obnoxious to keep her disinterested and angry with him.

Despite Tor’s grumpy and rude behavior Jane is also fighting an attraction she definitely doesn’t want. She wants their mission over and done with so she can get away from the sexy alien warrior.

Their space adventure is entertaining and definitely brings them closer together. Their skills and talents are well balanced and as the adventure progresses, each of them have to step up to rescue or protect the other. As they develop a strong partnership, they start to give in to their attraction as some circumstances require them to get extremely close and personal.

This was a fun and entertaining read with interesting characters, little angst, plenty of adventure and steam. A few characters from the prior book make an appearance or two, but the majority of the book is focused solely on Tor and Jane as they encounter other characters and circumstances.

I really enjoyed this book and throw in some special equipment and some spicy scenes and it makes for a perfect storyline. Captain Janevis a human on Earths moon base and has just been told that she must work together with Commander Tor who is a sexy and grumpy alien for a mission to retrieve some rare crystals but she doesn’t needs a babysitter because she can handle any mission on her own but the keep the peace treaty between Earth and Rhonar she must team up with him. Commander Tor is a Rhonar warrior and is quite capable to handle any mission but the thought of working alongside the human female is just a perk but the chemistry and the burning desire between them tells Tor he just found his fated mate. Now they are on the planet to get the rare crystals to Power up Earths Defense System but the inhabitants have there customs and to get the crystals they must marry and bond together and when Tor tells her that she is his fated mate but she is unsure if he’s telling the truth or he is just giving the natives what they want to get the crystals. How does it all turn out and do they succeed with there mission and do there wild and sexy times together keep them married or not. Loved it.

In this 3rd book of Tina Moss' Earth Brides and Alien Warriors we follow Captain Jane Kadaran head of Earth's Moon Base and Commander 'Tor' Torian of the Rhonar on a mission to a distantplanet to retrieve a crystal to power a shield to protect earth from malevolent alien invaders. If this mission fails Earth won't negotiate with the Rhonar for a treaty that would include the possibility of finding mates with each other. Rhonar have no women and Earth has a 90% female population.

This can be read without reading the two previous books. The author gives us enough background to fill in enough of the backstory that you don't feel lost.

This is an insta-lust/love type story Jane and Tor met in a previous book and while she is drawn to him, he knows she is his fated mate but feels the need to deny himself until the mission and treaty negotiations are both successful for the moral of his fellow Rhonar. While traveling they run into some trouble but that only serves to help the learn more about each other and how to work together while deepening the bond they have.

The author delivers on her promise of steamy seduction, fated mates, and a happily-ever-after.

Jane and Tor's Mission . . .

Captain Jane Kadaran is captain of Earth’s moonbase and is assigned with Commander Torian (“Tor”), a Rhonar warrior, to go to a distant galaxy for a rare mineral that will fuel a defense system for Earth. The Rhonar will choose brides from Earth in return for their help with this. Although he didn’t tell her, Tor realizes Jane is his fated mate, but he will hold back from her until the rest of his people can claim their mates as well. His rudeness and pushing her away is to avoid the temptation of claiming her.

Jane and Tor are perfect for each other since both are strong-willed and well-matched to protect each other. But before the Kinsian people will share the crystals with them, they have 3 tests they must pass. Will they be successful? The tests will increase their trust in each other and will make their desire for each other clear. But will they be strong and willing enough to enter the final test – the Chamber of Claiming – to accept a bond that will keep them together forever and make what they seek become theirs? Will their mission succeed? Will Tor finally claim his mate?

Tor is one of the most loveable grumps bless him. He knows who his mate, his Truxoria, is but he is determined not to claim her until a treaty has been agreed with Earth that would allow all of his bretheren that very same boon. Not that hard to do when you are in space on a fighter far away from her, not so easy to do when she in the confined spaces of said fighter with you. The two of you being the only ones there and when you are both on the same mission, alone except for each other. Yes, how well will that work then Mr Alien Commander? As for Jane, well she's convinced that grumpy pants doesn't like her. Why else would he be a grade A git whenever she is anywhere near him. The thing is, being stuck in the equivalent of tin can hurtling through space means that she gets to see a side of him that he never, EVER intended to show her. She starts to see that there is more to him and when there is a possibility of him dying she is suddenly aware that he has managed to worm his way into her affections. Now what is she to do?

Jane is the Captain of the moonbase around Earth and can handle any mission but is made to go on this one with Rhonar commander Tor who looks like he would either happily strangle or kiss her. They need to travel to a distant planet to find a rare substance that will save both of their races but they need to pass a series of increasingly sensual tests in order to get the substance they require. Can they put their hearts on the line?

I enjoyed this story with the push and pull between Jane and Tor, the attraction they were fighting against, the aliens they met and the trials on the planet to get the ore. I liked that they had trust in each other and that both of them had skills that the other could respect. I did find the trials a bit fantastical but to look at it another way it was in space so we have no idea of what it would really be like. Easy to read and understand. Contains mature content.

Thanks to Booksprout and publishers for this eARC of Alien's Temptation.

After reading book 1 and 2 I knew I had to continue with the series.
I was not disappointed!! I read this in a day!!

Alien's Temptation follows Jane and Tor on their misson to get the Ergamite.
I loved how this story panned out, it just rolled effortlessly into a roller-coaster of a ride with spice galore!
The format of the story was the same as the previous two, so it's predictable in a way but that in no terms takes away from the enjoyment of the novel. It works so well and you still get that satisfaction when they finally become one.
I loved the twists and turns in this story, the horror of the near miss with the other aliens, it certainly kept my pages turned.

I can't wait for what's next, I love this alien series.

An action-packed, science fiction romance adventure for Jane (h) and Tor (H). The two strong-willed, combative Rhonan commander and human captain are sent on a mission together to find crystals to power a defense system for Earth. Faced with threats, action, and adventure, Tor and Jane's sexual tension is key to their success. The relationship between the two is great - she's just as strong in the relationship as he is and is not just in need of rescue all the time. Tor is domineering and rude at times but it's simply his way of masking his deep desire for Jane whom he recognizes to be his fated mate. There is building steamy heat between the two, aided by Tor's special eggplant. It was fun and engaging from beginning to end.

As the Captain of Earth’s moon base Jane isn’t looking forward to an upcoming away mission with Rhonar warrior Commander Torian but Earth needs Ergamite crystals for its defense system and it’s their job to procure them regardless of the fact they constantly antagonize each other.
Alien’s Temptation was an engaging read, and I enjoyed the action, adventure and surprises that comprise this exciting, steamy Sci-Fi Romance with its two likable main characters who become even more once they let down their personal guards.
Loved the world building and writing in this fast-paced entertaining read and look forward to more future stories in this fascinating series.

This was a super great story. It was fast-paced, threats, action, and adventure. Jane goes on a mission with Tor to find something to keep Earth safe then Earth will agree to a treaty between the Rhonar Warriors and Earth females. While on Sense VII to gather the crystals they are brought closer together. Even though Tor already knows that Jane is his mate she doesn't know. There is lots of sexual tension between them but Jane just thinks that he's a jerk. Tor has been hiding his feeling for Jane. I loved the nickname that Tor given to Jane, little Captain. This was a fun story and I enjoyed it very much.

When Rhonar warrior Commander Torian and Earth Captain Jane are forced to work together to retrieve Ergamite crystals for Earth's defense system. In return, Earth will supply women to become brides for the Rhonar warriors. Tor and Jane lock horns constantly, but Tor is trying not to act on his feelings for her since he knows she is his mate and until they complete their mission, he is not acting on those feelings. But how long can he resist. This book is well paced, full of action, drama, sizzle, steam, and more. First, let me say that I was given an early reviewer copy of this in exchange for an honest review (through the LibraryThing Early Reviewer program).

Second, this is 2.5 stars rounded up. I'm feeling very meh about this book. I like that there wasn't as much angst between the two protagonists as in previous books in this series, but also it felt like there was more sex than story. It made me think of the last book in Piers Anthony's "Incarnations of Immortality" series, and not in a good way. I loved the first book in this series. Liked the second. And now I'm meh. Think I'm going to nope out of the rest of the series.

Jane is the captain of earths moon base she’s waiting for her sister to arrive with her new mate who is a Rhonar warrior right now the aliens and earths relationship is tense because the warriors are mating with the humans and some people aren’t happy about that. Jane is going on a mission with the arrogant and maddening Tor on his ship Jane was going to make him pay for calling her little captain but what Jane didn’t know was she is Tor’s mate and he’s not happy about it. I loved this story and the characters and the chuckle worthy banter between them and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Jane is captain of Earth’s moonbase and is tasked with the all important mission of obtaining the mineral necessary to power Earth’s defense shield. Commander Torian, leader of the Rhonar warriors, was her partner and, unbeknownst to her, her mate. Tor didn’t feel he deserved to take a mate when his men couldn’t so was keeping it from Jane. Their mission challenges his resolve, and their resources, at every turn and they must learn to trust one another in order to succeed. I enjoyed Jane and Tor’s pairing and the fact that they were both willing to give a little to the other when needed.

♥️💚🚀Excellent surprise.

Captain Jane of the Terran moon base paced in thought.

She was waiting for her sister's arrival with great impatience, while preparing for her next mission...

-----------

An excellent surprise for this crisp and captivating science fiction/romance story.

I loved it all!
I liked the captivating background story, the unexpected, the exotic, the mystery, the danger and the two great main characters: Captain Jane and Commander Torian.
I loved the dialogue between them.

This made me want to read the previous two volumes.
I highly recommend for fans of the genre.♥️

This is one hot steamy book. Tor is determined not to claim Jane as his mate. He known for awhile, but wants to wait until a treaty is signed with earth for his warriors able to find mats among human women. Jane is attracted to Tor but doesn't know she's his mate. Thry have a mission to accomplish and theres danger around every corner. They end up in one situation after another that throws them in steamy situations until neither can deny what's between them.

Disappointed. Felt like those old adult-fun-time skits where people just so happen to be doing something half naked and the pizza guy shows up with no pants on, conveniently. Like, instead of a story/ novel it was like the author wrote a couple cliche love scenes and then forced some awkward transitions in between. Everything happens too quickly, logic doesn't seem to matter much, and once they decide they're in love it gets sickly sweet, yech. I might try a different series of hers, but probably not. Definitely won't be going back to this particular series.

I enjoyed this book. It was a fun adventure. Great world building. I really liked Jane and Tor. Both were strong and skillful, as Tor is a warrior and Jane is the captain of Earth's moonbase. They had great chemistry, but avoided it. Tor knew she was his mate but kept her at a distance. For the good of his people, their mission and treaty with Earth must come first. This was a fun and steamy read. 4 stars.
