Hedonist. Drew Cambridge is everything dedicated veterinarian Kate Hollister doesn't want in a man. The boldly decadent Britisher photographs nudes by clay... and beds them by night. The word "commitment" is utterly foreign to him.

Still, when an animal-preservation campaign unexpectedly lands them on opposite sides of the camera, Drew's sensual charisma jams Kate's heart into high gear. His glib intimacies and rumbling laughter arouse her fury ... and a trembling desire. Since Kate has vowed her next relationship will lead only to marriage, she zealously parries Drew's outrageous advances. But how long can she elude a man notorious for bending women to his whims?

The H is a titled playboy photographer and an expert in meaningless hookups and the h is a vet. This is a 80s book so the h is all about marriages and not live in relationships. Having experienced a live in relationship that was going no where she expects marriage and kids from her next relationship. The H and h share incredible chemistry and have an affair and the H asks her to move in with him and the h writes a letter saying no. Then a chapter later they reconcile and the book ends with a HEA.
