Remembering Thomas: A Jennifer and James Tween Adventure

Rate this book
Jennifer and James and their two friends, Kaytlyn and Sleepy — fresh from their adventures in THE PIGEON TALKED — step through a time portal and find themselves in the middle of a Revolutionary War battle in New York City.

During the ensuing twenty-four hours, while navigating the suspicions and prejudices of local people and soldiers, the foursome meet numerous historical characters, including Mary and Susannah Murray, Margaret Corbin, Major Aaron Burr, and Thomas Knowlton the hero of Bunker Hill. The four companions also must fight to thwart a plot by the evil Malman, who wants to change the course of history by altering an event that occurred at the Battle of Harlem Heights. Their task is both helped and complicated by a man, Arthur Whitehair, who was turned into a pigeon by the misreading of a spell many years before. The book is a stand-alone, but the main characters were all introduced in THE PIGEON TALKED. The authors anticipate a series of similar books exploring various historical events and time periods in the United States and elsewhere.
