What would you do if you could text all your questions, all your worries, all your doubts and fears to God? What if He was always online and would always answer you? Would you start typing right now?
Someone once said that the single most important thing about you is your thoughts on God. Give that a minute to sink in. Why would that be? Because all your thoughts about humanity, love, suffering, and the like are shaped primarily by whether or not you think there is any meaning to it all, by whether or not you are on your own, and by whether or not God even cares about it all. Knowing who God is will give you answers to life's big questions that you might not have even known you needed.
The NET, TEXT Bible is like a conversation between you, a friend teaching you about the faith, and the God of the Universe. It gives you a method of Bible study that's easy to remember and use for any passage of Talk to God; Encounter God and humanity; eXamine your heart; Talk to others. Plus, there's so much more!

TEXT. What does this make you think of? Keeping in touch with friends and family with the use of technology? How about THE TEXT? This is the name of a New English Translation Bible that uses the TEXT study method to help us keep in touch with God! I was intrigued by this title and I'm so happy to have the chance to preview it because this is truly a special way to study God's Word!
The NET TEXT Bible uses the four-step TEXT study method— Talk to God, Encounter God and humanity, eXamine your heart, and Talk to others. Students, young adults, and new believers may appear to be this product's target group but anyone with a thirst for knowledge will enjoy using it.
Here are some of the features that I especially like! It has easy-to-read font, wide margins that allow me to write notes and draw pictures, 8 colored maps, a detailed Concordance, and several reading plans: 30 Days with Jesus, 90-Day Bible Overview, and The Whole Bible (in one year!) And, in keeping with the theme TEXT, there are 5 pages of Hashtags and the scripture that applies to them!
This is a unique Bible! It would be a great gift for students, young adults, and new believers.

The NET the Text Bible is a wonderful Bible featuring key new features teaching us about God’s written Word. This Bible is geared towards students and young adults, aged 18-40. The entire scope of the Bible is meant to be like a gateway to connecting to God and can be viewed as an online presence mixed with a group text conversation. The editor’s explained how the single most important thing is our thoughts on God and we can reply on the face that God will always be there to give us answers to life’s mystery of questions. I liked how the Bible contained a summary and a quick breakdown of who wrote the chapter, key verses, purpose, dates, and text treads to prepare readers on what the chapter will enclose. One of my favorite things was a session called, “praying the text”. I liked the one that covered storms and it was placed near Jeremiah 15. This prayer was scriptures discussing storms and how God will keep us safe under his wings, controls the water, and provides us with the hope found only in Christ. Another awesome feature was the 100 devotionals placed throughout the Bible that was based on the TEXT principle. One of my favorites was on God is our provider and they encouraged readers to list attributes in a column on who God is and on the other side who humanity is. It explored stress and worrying and how we can examine our hearts and grow deeper in learning more about God and how He cares for us. I also immensely love how they included special charts featuring: prophecies fulfilled at the cross, spiritual gifts, two types of wisdom, praying the text index, hashtags, reading plan, maps, and a concordance. I loved how the Bible comprised of two ribbon bookmarks to make it easier to flip back and forth and study different verses and it makes it quicker for follow the tread features.
The NET, The TEXT Bible: Uncover the message between God, humanity, and you is just the Bible I'd recommend to you if you're looking for a new Bible for your quiet times as we begin this new year. Whether you're a student, a young adult, or a new believer (key audiences for this Bible)--or, if you're a seasoned believer, this Bible will bless you, engage you, and help you to know God and His Word better and more closely.
Coauthors Michael and Hayley DiMarco created a study method that's utilized throughout this Bible: Talk to God, Encounter God and humanity in Scripture, eXamine your heart, and Talk to others. This process will bless readers and help them to deeply engage with God and His Word. Additional study tools, like Praying Scripture, devotionals on God's character and person, noticing the big themes of the Bible, and learning its people and events, will also help readers dig deeper and gain a sense of the whole theme of God and His interactions with humanity.

TEXT Bible is a great Bible for youth. My eleven year old has been reading the Bible every evening recently and really has enjoyed reading through this version. The scriptures are easy to read for him to understand, which I love. In the margins, there are dotted lines for notetaking, as well as, on various pages, there are boxes of text threads, Get to Know the TEXT, and Text the TEXT. It includes two different satin ribbon markers that help with bookmarking. In the back of the TEXT Bible there are several helpful reference guides, such as: Prophecies Fulfilled at the Cross, Hashtags, Reading Plans, Concordance, and Maps.
TEXT Bible is getting a very well deserved five plus stars from me. It would make a great gift for students, young adults, and new believers.
I received a copy of TEXT Bible from the publisher but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
Excellent New English Translation Bible with several valuable resources to use. I really love the Praying The Text selections! There are also suggested Reading Plans, Who Is God? short devotions, maps, concordance, and a page of #Hashtags to help the reader. The print is a comfortable size for most readers and tons of room in the margins for taking notes. I was relieved to learn that TEXT is an acronym for a marvelous plan to fully experience reading God's Word and gaining a deeper understanding of God's message to His people.
