Second Chance at Love
I absolutely adored the instant connection between Swann and Samson! It gives you a sense of peace. Like no matter what hardships you’ve faced in previous relationships there is love and loyalty somewhere out there waiting for you!

I loved every single thing about this couple. I was a little hesitant at first because of how they met, but honestly, they were fated from the start. The pacing was perfect, and the buildup on both sides felt so natural.
They had both been through so much, so watching them find a healthy, genuine love was beautiful. I especially loved her relationship with her brother and the close bond he had with his family.
This book just made me happy. 😭💕

Loved It
I enjoyed from start to finishing! I love a storyline with grown folks, established and understanding who they are! Samson & Swann were made for each other, they handled stumbling blocks with some integrity! Their families were like night and day! I love the brotherly bantering with Samson and his brother and Swann brother Stacey strong connection! Both hurt in different ways, however both needed to let go of the hurt to move on and they did! Love the ending and I hope to see more!

Ebony needed to sit her tired self down. She thought the money was longer on the other side but she realized it wasn't that long at all. Swann had a rough start but with the help of her brother Stacey then Sam she found the love she deserved again. Mach had everyone wrapped around his little finger.

Swan Dive
The story was interesting about a singer named Samson and his plans to make it in the music industry. His encounter with Swann made his life revolve differently. Although when they met, Swan was pregnant with another man's baby; consequently, Samson was in a relationship. Over some time, the connection was nicely explored between Samson and Swan. In this tale, we met a couple who experienced heartache and healing in the same story. A good 3.75 stars read.

This was a cute story. Samson and Swann had an immediate connection, though they both tried to fight it. Her because she was grieving her child’s father and him because he was technically not single. Once circumstances changed, they were finally able to explore their growing connection.
I absolutely LOVED the banter in this book. Samson and Swann were flirtatious, but they also joked around like homies, which made their relationship feel natural and fun. I also cackled at Samson’s interactions with his brother, and I loved the protectiveness Swann’s brother, Stacey, brought to the story. What I appreciated most about Samson, though, was that he never pushed. He recognized that Swann was still carrying a lot of grief, but he made his interest clear and gave her the space and time she needed.
I do wish some scenes had been a bit more fleshed out. The pacing felt rushed at times, especially toward the end, and I think spending more time with Swann on her healing journey would have added even more depth to the story.
That said, this was an enjoyable read about following your dreams, embracing the people who support you, and not being afraid to love again after loss.

Samson was grinding trying to make a name for himself. He had a girlfriend who he gave everything to, but she took advantage of it. She didn't even want to go to his showcase. Him and Swann hit it right off the back. His family welcomed her with open arms. Swann didn't even want a baby shower, she knew something was off. Her mama and Sean are trash, except Stacy,Trying to take her baby. Sam pulled up in time.Ebony knew she messed up but tried to come back when he hit in big and every tried to pull the pregnancy card. Sam and Swann are a family now.

This was a great read. I liked Swann and Samson. They were both awesome people and I'm glad they opened themselves up for more with each other. Im glad Swann alowed Sam to get to know her as he helped her to heal and accept what he had to give. Im glad he didn't let Ebony continue to make a fool of him and that he actually could open himself up to the possibilities with Swann. Loved it. The family dynamic was awesome too. Glad Swann at least had her brother and gained a better family.

Swann is expecting a baby and gets another chance at love after loss. She's still grieving and scared to put her heart on the line again, but with Samson, she gradually lets her guard down. He had such smooth dominance and was protective of her and her unborn baby from the jump.
Their chemistry and playful dynamic were addictive, and I loved how naturally they clicked. And not only was it cool watching them reach new milestones in the music industry together as a team, but it was also heartwarming to see her blend into his family so effortlessly.

See the books I be sleeping on is the best books. I been skipping all around this book for the longest. Sat down to bust it wide open and couldn't even put it down. That tramp Ebony had life misconstrued. Crazy you can't support a man that's been supporting you do nothing. That's got to be the craziest shit ever. Oh well Sam is happy and getting the right kind of love from Swanny. Yazzzz they deserve that kind of love.

Sam and Swann's story was a little exasperating for me. Swann definitely had trust issues. Sam was actually a pretty standup guy and he went all out for Swann, especially supporting her pregnancy. Ebony was trifling and all about self; I could see why Sam didn't ever wanna see her again.
This book wasn't bad, although it could use another edit - it was the immaturity of the women that brought the story down for me

Something about Sam and Swann's story just made me feel so good inside while reading it. I loved seeing them both come out of situations and getting another chance at love. And Neyrey is freaking hilarious with the jokes, she had me cackling! And lastly middle fingers to Ebony garbage tail 😒

Nice and slow.
I’m a sucker for a slow burn romance. Sam & Swann we’re both going through it in the beginning. I love how they formed a genuine relationship before taking it there. This was a beautiful love story.
