I'm going to be honest and say I have not finished this book, I felt the need to review it because I don't know if I will finish it.
I just want to say; if your whole "theme" is I may talk slow but I don't think slow and the first 4 pages of the book is filled with nothing but cliches I'm going to be very skeptical of this "theme" from the beginning.
I'm setting the book aside for now and we'll see how I feel later.

Why is every man in Shotgun Ridge so hot and sexy? Dan Lucas is the town's preacher but he still a man. When Amy, a photojournalist comes to town she needs to marry Dan to save her mother's home. Her grandfather trying to control her from the grave makes a stipulation in his will that she must marry Dan for three months. I loved this story because these two are thrown together and both find out what they really want. Dan figures it out and sees how perfect Amy fits into his life. This is another well-written story with all the loving characters of Shotgun Ridge.

Oh my, what an absolutely beautiful love story! It has everything!!!!😊 Romance, sexiness, sweetness, close friendships, humor, wonderful characters and was one of the most endearing and satisfying stories ever!!! Mindy Neff is the most amazing author. I came across her when I was browsing other books..... I am so grateful I did. I have been reading her books non-stop. Somehow she manages to touch your heart, as well as give you plenty of romance, fun and deeply moving scenarios!!! This was a delightful story and I highly recommend it!!!!

Amy and Dan, the preacher

Another bachelor story by Mindy Neff with another twisty story to keep you engaged! When Amy came into town she went straight to the preacher because she had to fulfill her deceased grandfather's wishes in order to save her mother's house. Loved this one too!

The preacher takes a wife... Maybe

Amy's grandfather left a will saying her mother loses everything if she doesn't marry Preacher Dan. Prepare for the fun!

I truly enjoy this writer's work. This was a fast paced read, full of Shotgun Ridge characters. It can be read as a standalone. You do get a better sense of the characters if you read the books in order. If you don't, hopefully this book will make you want to start at the beginning.

There was an immediate attraction between Dan and Amy, but the relationship and love developed over a period of time. It blossomed as they got the chance to know each other better.

If you like small town romances, you should enjoy this one. There were a couple of teary eyed moments, but there were many feel good moments throughout this book. It left me with a smile on my face.

I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
