Mudflat #3

Mudflat Toy Boy

Rate this book

Between working two jobs in Seattle to pay the bills, Claire fights off con-men and ex-boyfriends and tries to supervise a teenager.  All Claire really wants is a little peace and a lot of quality time with her guy. But at least her current problems are all human.

And then a nonhuman murderer moves into the neighborhood and targets Claire. It's enough to make a fortuneteller wish she didn't know any magic.

As her small bit of inherited skill compounds her troubles, she and Tarvik must depend on wits and sword to survive.  Will they find the Saran wrap in time?

My new addition

I love these books. The characters are so funny. It is like having a person from another country visiting you. Tar is from another country but way in the past. Add in a touch of mystical magic and you have a great book. I love how the characters have developed. In each book, I have learned a little bit more about them. I feel like I could just walk into Claire's house and eat dinner that tar and Nancy have prepared.

I am the author and so others will review it. The first two Mudflat books are award finalists, up for national Eppie awards in 2009. I think this is the best Mudflat book so far, so I look forward to hearing what you think. The Mudflat books come out in ebook format first, and then a few months later in trade paperback through Amazon and through BarnesandNoble.
