Kane and Morgan get a second chance when they reconnect at a BDSM club. I love the direction in Morgan's personality and how sweetly protective Kane can be. Their story is not only steamy but also suspenseful and emotional. This is a page turning read for me.

These two packed a whole lot of everything into a very short time, and it left an impact! Kane is just, so broken, but he doesn’t see it. He is such a great protector, but he doesn’t realize the depth of his emotions, he just thinks its’ his job. Morgan has her heart on her sleeve, trusting her instincts. These two had a missed opportunity two years ago, and she is willing to dive into full force now. They click, they have chemistry, the connect on so many levels, and that made it all the more painful when things fell apart. An amazing grovel on his part, and then light-speed ahead, to their HEA <3

“Kane Patterson was a total alpha - annoying so - all the way through.”
Ok, I seriously loved Kane. He was almost everything I love in a great dominant alpha hero. Morgan was sweet, trusting, loving and exactly what he needed. Too bad he was his own worst enemy. For such an intelligent, experienced man he was kind of an idiot. He messed up once two years earlier and when given a second chance he blows it again. I wanted to shake some sense into him more than once. Their chemistry was hot and their connection effortless. With an interesting plot, including surprising twists, this was a great book. My only real complaints have to do with the way things were rushed too often. More than once I felt scenes or parts of scenes had been deleted and the ending was also too quick and a little incomplete.
I’ve read this is supposed to be the last Denver book but I hope that isn’t true as I really liked the series. Fortunately, even if it is, Sierra often has characters from other series show up and I’m pretty sure most, if not all of her books all exist in the same world. A world dominated by a certain tech genius who seems to have his finger in every aspect possible. I trust this will continue. I wouldn’t mind catching up with Kane and Morgan one day. As always, easy to read as a standalone, so enjoy.

'Determination' is the third and final book in Sierra Cartwright's "Hawkeye: Denver" series and I'll admit, I'm not ready for this one to end. I still have questions! Hopefully, at some point in another series when we get Pierce Holden's story, we'll find out the answers to the loose ends. In the meantime, let's talk about Kane and Morgan, shall we? They had originally met at a wedding and shared an intimate, powerful kiss. Kane, who works for Hawkeye, had set Morgan aside telling her it was for her own good. Morgan, on the other hand, had her heart and felt crushed. Now two years later, they meet at a BDSM club and Kane has the audacity to stick his nose in her business. But even as crushed as she had been there are still shocks of anticipation running through her. Those feelings are still there. One night … they share one scene together and then things start to snowball when she receives a phone call from the woman who takes care of her mother's dogs. This started going downhill from there, leaving our Hero and heroine to face what's coming head-on and together. The storyline is intense, the scenes are both hot and sensual, and the characters are each so perfectly flawed they're easy to relate to. What a great story.

I love all the men and women of the Hawkeye series. This one was no different. Morgan and Kane first met a few years ago and shared a scorching kiss. But that was as far as it went. While Morgan would have happily moved forward with what could be an amazing relationship, Kane up and left, hoping to erase her from his memory. Fast forward to the present and their lives collide once again. Morgan has never forgotten Kane but is understandable wary. The same for Kane who tried to convince himself that their meeting is business only. But as the suspense grows and the mystery deepens, it becomes very hard to believe that it is just work. These two have a great connection and you can tell that they suit each other. But, as the mystery is solved, Morgan finds out that she is just a “job” to Kane and leaves Colorado, all because Kane did not have the courage to admit that she was his other half. Quite a steamy story, full of mystery and suspense that will keep you guessing right until the end. A very enjoyable read.

I have to say I am sad this was the final book in this series. It has been such a great ride through each and every book.
This book will take you on such a fast, fun and steaming ride. Kane is everything we did not know we needed. He is a protector through and through. He takes his missions very seriously and will do what he has to do in order to be successful. Working so hard does come with regrets- one happens to be Morgan and missed opportunity. Can he win her over and get his happily ever after? Is it too late?
Morgan is still not over the rejection she received from Kane. He would do anything in his power to protect her and keep her safe, however, she could never have him. Morgan was a strong heroine and had so much growth throughout the story. She really learned to stand on her own. It was fun journey experiencing her first experiences. Can she put Kane's broken pieces together and win him over once and for all?
These two had steaming chemistry! I also loved all of the twists and turns that do lead to an eventual HEA. For those that love a great love story with all the stops- this is definitely the book for you.

This was great! I loved the pacing of this story, the chemistry between the two characters was heady, and the light BDSM themes were also used well without making the entire book all about it. Just perfect to read in one sitting or two if you want to pace yourself.
My only criticism would be that the emotional angst at the moment of and during the split wasn't as strong as the rest of the book. Obviously, there comes a time in every book when the main characters are separated because of something one of them has done, so I knew that scene was going to come up soon. I was looking forward to the betrayal scene, but it just didn't hit right. I've read Sierra Cartwright's work before so I was definitely expecting an emotional push and pull during the separation scene. Still, the book was wonderful to read.

I absolutely loved Determination Book 3 of Hawkeye Denver. Morgan was rejected by Kane two years ago but when she’s at a BDSM club and another Dom tries to speak with her Kane interjects. Is she wants to learn he’s going to be the one to teach her. The only problem is he doesn’t do relationships. When Morgan’s family seems to be the target of break-ins and they end up on a hit list Kane will do a thing to protect Morgan, except tell her the truth. As their relationship grows Morgan thinks they could have a future until she learns the truth about Kane and she leaves. Will Kane realize his mistake before it’s too late and fight for Morgan? Since a great storyline and I loved the characters. I would definitely recommend this book.

Another great book in the Hawkeye Denver series. Kane and Morgan have history but Kane continues to deny his feelings. When he finds himself back in Morgan’s life all bets are off. Can he protect her while protecting his heart but is his heart the one that needs protecting?
I enjoyed Morgan and Kane’s second chance. Kane has to work hard to show Morgan that he is here for the long haul this time. The two are good together and their heat is off the charts. I loved that Morgan is a strong woman and ready to stand up for herself and not fall victim again. Their one night turns into more but when Morgan learns the truth, she is ready to move on. Kane must make a choice to fight for Morgan or let her slip from his life again. Their story moves at a good pace and pulled me right in from the start.

Determination is the final book in the Hawkeye Denver series, bringing the case the team has been working on to a close. But it also re-connects Kane with Morgan - his teammate's sister and the one that got away. I loved how this protective dom would not be torn from her side and did everything he could to keep her safe. Morgan is a great heroine, too, learning to stand up for herself at the same time as experiencing a d/s relationship for the first time. There's plenty of friction and suspense along with funny elements, lots of steamy goodness and some very surprising twists and turns, all leading to a wonderful HEA.

But just as things seem to be working themselves out, Morgan realizes she’s just been an assignment to Kane. And once again, she’s left a bit broken. Broken dreams and broken trust. And Kane takes all the responsibility. He just didn’t expect to fall for this beauty.
Once again Cartwright delivers a story that allows us a peek into another world. One where we lose ourselves and our inhibitions to simply enjoy life.

I am disheartened that the Hawkeye Denver series is now over, but as they say all good things must come to an end. This last story is passionate, emotional and fiercely gripped my heartstrings. There is also steam and suspense that has you moving along on a zigzag course of intrigue. An amazing read.

I love the whole Haweye series and Determination is a great addition. Sierra Cartwright does a stellar job of weaving suspense and intrigue into this story while keeping you guessing as to what the reality is. Kane Patterson and Morgan Holden really do light up the pages. For the first time in decades a woman starts to crack the shell Kane has put around his heart and emotions. He's everything she could ever want in a man and a Dom. Just as he's recognizing his feeling for Morgan an offthe cuff remark sends her running as fast and as far as she can go. It's only in the aftermath of her leaving that he realizes that he needs her in his life now and forever. Tracking her down and convincing her to give him that chance may be the biggest challenge he's ever faced.

I loved Kane’s sweet protectiveness towards Morgan & Morgan’s fierceness when under threat. Their story moved quickly, with action, suspense & betrayal. Outstanding addition to the Hawkeye Denver series by Sierra Cartwright. Morgan and Kane nearly have a liaison a few years ago, but Kane backed away, leaving Morgan frustrated and hurt. Now Morgan has some drama going on with her family and not only are her parents suspect, but also her brother Pierce (previous book Temptation), but so is she. When Morgan and Kane run into each other at a BDSM club, he claims her for the evening and is assigned to her by Hawkeye, without her knowing. The book is fast paced, steamy, has the drama you expect, and some twists along the way. Great read.

Another fantastic book in the Hawkeye series . Kane has just returned from a mission, and when he unintentionally notices Morgan beginning her adventure at BDSM World at Reserve, he wants to continue and see how they get along. After their scene, Morgan receives a call from her parents' pet sitter informing her that someone broke into the house and stole her father's computer. There is suspense, action, and in the interim, Kane becomes Morgan’s Dom, the book was fantastic. Packed on mystery, hot power exchange scenes and action, loved it.

Loved this third book for Hawkeye/Denver with agent Kane and Morgan. They met previously at a wedding and he turned her away then months later they reconnect at a BDSM club and sparks fly. When her family ends up with ties to the mafia and she finds out that he has been actually guarding her instead of the romance she thought she is broken and leaves. Questing is what will happen with her family and will she ever have a future with the man she loves?.

Having failed at a relationship before, Kane locks away feelings and concentrates on his job as an excuse not to ever let anyone close again. That is until one kiss from Morgan and he runs as fast as he can. When Morgan becomes part of his job, he can't run this time. The romance is scorching between them while the suspense brings out Kane's protective side. I loved the strength of both characters. Despite being able to lean on Kane, Morgan was able to hold her own especially when she is let down by everyone. Page turner.

Another great read in the Hawkeye Denver series. This is the third and final book in the series and is Kane and Morgan’s story who were great characters in a very enjoyable, deliciously erotic and sexy read. I am a little disappointed that this is the end of the series as there are still a lot of unanswered questions in my opinion. That being said, this is a good, emotional read that I would recommend. The books in this series are interconnecting and need to be read in order.

This is Book 3 in the Hawkeye Denver Series by this author, and can be read as a standalone. It is an off limits, second chance romance between Kane and his teammate's sister, Morgan. These flawed characters are likeable, the connection strong, the chemistry combustible, and the unique plot makes for an interesting read. It is a love story with drama and angst, sexual tension and chemistry, and engaging secondary characters to keep the reader interested. Seriously entertaining.

Morgan and Kane shared a passionate kiss two years ago at a wedding and then he walked away. They meet again at a BDSM club and he claims her as his own while she is not happy about the turn of events, she needs to know what happened before and close the book on her heartbreak. Kane is a fierce protector and he will do everything in his power to protect and cherish her. I hate to see the end of this series, but this one is an epic finale.

Kane's job is his life and he's pretty unemotional - cue Morgan who is an open book. A memorable evening together led to his rejection of her and that hurt still lingered. They meet again and it gets steamy and Morgan falls for Kane until she learns that things aren't what they seem. Emotional, well written and I was totally hooked.

Wow! This book had twists I did not expect... LOVED IT. There was not a slow part and the heat and mystery had me glued to the pages. Kane is due some R&R but that is not going to happen, especially since the one person that intrigues him just happens to be at the BDSM club he goes to. Now, she is in danger and he is the one determined to protect her. Not everything is as it seems. There is an HEA for Kane and Morgan. Oh the journey there is full of mystery, heat, and deception.

I have been a fan of Sierra Cartwright for a while now and I loved this latest story by her. I couldn't wait to see what happened next between Kane Patterson and Morgan Holden. They met a wedding before he went off on a mission. He has never forgotten her though. When they run into each other again, will she give him a second chance?
