Baylore is under siege, with no help on the way. Queen Kalleah’s time is running out.

Kalleah has seized control of Baylore just in time for the full might of the Whitish army to arrive at the gates. Her own forces are badly outnumbered and untrained.

With attacks whittling away Baylore’s defenses and supplies running low, Kalleah has to look outside the city for help.

But she has no allies to count on.

When pleas for reinforcements are met with silence, Kalleah must turn to the only hope remaining—the strange and deadly magic of the Wandering Woods.

To visit the Wandering Woods could mean death. But Kalleah is willing to risk everything for her people.

Can she gather allies strong enough to protect Baylore? Or will her people be forced to face the world’s greatest army alone?

Don't miss the explosive end to the Forbidden Queen series.

Most people are willing to do horrible things under the right circumstances

that feeling when you finish a great book series

Folks, we have reached the end of an amazing series.

Warrior Queen is definitely way more action-packed than the previous books, but of course not without political intrigue.

I don't really have much to say about the plot. Once you start reading it, you just can't stop. I only wished I had more free time so I could have finished it way sooner.

My main issue with not just this book but in every final-book-of-the-series-with-an-epic-final-battle is that I. Need. Main. Characters. To. Die. I know how painful it is to kill your fictional children but, man, I do like a good and worthy death of an important main character 😭

I'm so glad that this world isn't over and that we'll get a series(I think???) which follows the events of Warrior Queen twenty years later djsjdidmidkskdms

Until then, as the Allakoash say, Shonamee avonat ly nash (I have no idea if this is used as a goodbye too but oh well)

⚖️⚖️ONE BLOCK BUSTING FINALE⚖️⚖️
Suga boom boom! Vickers unleashes one helluva storm with this skillfully spun debacle, keeping you riveted on a razors edge and frozen to your seat, launching this jewel to staggering heights. One heart pounding, pulse racing, adrenaline pumping, nailbiting, unnerving, page flipping bombshell, hooking you from the start and reeling you in for the duration, wrapping this baby up sleek shiny and tight. Observing the formidable trials and challenging tribulations, noting the deadly twists and dramatic turns, broken boundaries and shredded limitations are amplified and expanded, igniting a fierce surge of determination with such intensity and precision, thrusting this gem into the eye of the storm, kicking it into a tailspin with a mind-blowing realization. The characters, banter, interactions and charged atmosphere are realistic, complex and genuine with traits and qualities, add depth and diversity, blending into charismatic personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and descriptions that feel as though you were transported to ground zero with them. Fantastic job Vickers, thanks for sharing this little jewel with us.

A Fitting, Epic End

I have read each book in this series as they came out, and even though fantasy is not my go-to read, I can't describe how much I enjoyed reading it. The author is a gifted storyteller who builds complex but believable fantasy worlds with relatable, strong characters. This book is certainly a fitting end for the series as the warrior queen—whom we've seen grow so much throughout the series—leads her people in an epic pitched battle against their enemy. The battle scenes were well done, putting you right there in the thick of the fighting. I'm a visual reader, and I could see these playing out in my mind's eye. This series has been so much a part of my year that I'm sad to see it go! I will certainly check out this author's next book or series as she does write so well. An exceptional journey over the course of the six books, but you need to start with book one as each book builds on the next. If you enjoy epic fantasy, especially ones with a strong heroine, you may very well enjoy this series as much as I did.

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

Warrior Queen is the final installment in RJ Vickers' Forbidden Queen Series. What a finale! The energy in this book is incredible. The battles are numerous and so well written that I felt as if I was right there running and fighting along side the Queen. Kalleah is so awesome! She has so many tough decisions to make and choices to face. True to form, the storyline continued to be fast-paced and very well written, filled with battles, heavy decisions, politics, intrigue and potential alliances. The characters are all very well developed, vibrant and engaging. All in all, an excellent finish to a fantastic series!

Whew, what a finale! This book finishes Kalleah's battle with the Whittish army and her attempt to save the magic races of Baylore. It is action packed as Baylore's army is grossly outnumbered and the Whittish are known for their brutality. The battle scenes are extremely well written, allowing the reader to be able to envision the scenes clearly. As the end of the series I was a bit saddened that there are so many variables that could happen with how the story ended until I read the author's notes at the end. I usually skip those, but there is a very important note for fans of the series so don't skip the author's note this time!

I couldn't put the series down...

It was refreshing to read a series written by a true story teller. Cliff hangers, strategy, emboldened by a story line with twists and turns. A story with an ending whose crescendo leaves the reader enchanted to the last page. The only thing missing? Pornagraphy. The author spins a tale that enraptured this reader with the tale itself. Well done, and greatly enjoyed! A great family read.

The Battles Are Epic. An amazing last story for this series. The battles were so well written I felt like I was there. My heart raced. Ms. Vickers's characters are so real. Her plotline is flawless. I loved this series and am a little sad that this is the last book. But I know that Ms. Vickers will keep on writing so that I can enjoy more of her amazing creativity.

What a great ending!
Queen Kayleah is a natural leader and Itrea will be secure and prosper under her leadership.

A lot of questions were answered and new additions to the characters as well.

There's tons of action and quick thinking, you will not be bored!

Hopefully now the Queen can rest and enjoy her family, friends and city.

What a great wrap up! To a great series. I'll be a life long fan of Mrs.Vickers.

Heart-wrenching, magnificent, powerful. This is just the ending this series needed. Exquisitely written with characters you can’t help loving and rooting for. I have loved reading each and every book in this series. I have felt that each book was better than the last including this one. I love how Kalleah had found her power has depth and different aspects to it. This book is just phenomenal.

Wow... I'm impressed! This last book in the Forbidden Queen series is mind-blowing and amazing! Now that Kalleah finally has control over Baylore, she has to find a way to defeat the Whitish army, because they're about to arrive. This is a difficult task because she doesn't have any allies. There is only one solution, the Wandering Woods. It will be difficult and dangerous, but it's her only option. I enjoyed reading this series so much! It's one of my favorite series I've ever read! It has everything I look for in books, the right combination of action, adventure, and a bit of romance. On top of that, there is politics, a royal family, and fantastic world-building. I've also said it a lot, but these books all keep you interested all the time because it's fast-paced, but still very detailed. This is very difficult but the author does a great job!

As Magician Queen, Book Five of the Forbidden Queen Series draws to a close, Queen Kalleah's gained support from Baylore's citizens; yet simultaneously she's faced with the powerful Whitish soldiers arrival at her city gates, prepared to do battle. Hence Warrior Queen Book Six, last book in this series, involves our seemingly perpetual underdog Kalleah, facing ongoing, action-packed, war-related conflicts and bloodshed as she continues fighting for the Itrean people she loves. A must read!

I adored every book cover in this series, which provided flexibly for envisioning Queen Kalleah, and supported the diverse physical characteristics and interpretations that each reader might find pleasurable and/or relatable. I further welcomed the maps, which helped me visualize each country, as well as aiding me in assessing both contemplated and actualized war tactics and locations.

I so very much enjoyed this final installment to the series. The story picks up immediately and quickly where we left off. Sadly we lost some incredible character, but all for the sake of a great story. It was not at all the end I was expecting, but it was so much better. Most fantasy war series I’ve read end with the end of the war, and all they have to look to next is rebuilding. That’s not exactly the case here and it’s fantastic. I can not wait for the sequel series!

Wow, what an ending! This series has been an incredible journey from the start and ended with a bang! I loved all the plot twists and turns, especially at the end; it made for a more touching and emotional ending. Now that this series is over I am really going to miss this well constructed world and amazing characters, but seeing another series in this world coming in 2021 makes me all excited 🥰 in short this book is more than just amazing 🤩

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a review. This did not affect my review, all opinions are my own.

As the end of an epic fantasy series, Warrior Queen follows Kalleah in her final battle to save Baylore from the Whitish army. I won't say any more, because otherwise I'll be spoiling part of the book!

The series has gripped me from the very start. Kalleah had do make incredibly hard decisions and didn't always make the right one, which made things interesting. This conclusion was no different. While being completely outmatched, Kalleah had use every advantage she could get, even if she had to give up something very important.

Even though I couldn't put the books in the series down, the plot started to become a little monotonous. The main objective stayed the same throughout all books, but every book contained a small final battle in which they were outmatched, that had to be won in order to win the big final battle. Specific events in the book were unique, but the main plot line was similar every book (with an exception of the second book). As the books in this series are quite short, it didn't really bother me that much. However, it did refrain me from giving the books in the series 4.5 stars.

If you're looking for a fantasy series for a quick in-between read, the Forbidden Queen series is excellent. The books are hard to put down, enjoyable and action-filled. The romance is unlike anything I have ever read, without taking over the whole political intrigue.
