I’ve always been the wild King twin. The least likely to settle down. The daring one. The player. The one who never takes anything too seriously. To be fair, most of my reputation has been exaggerated over the years. But I’ve never minded. I’ve used it to my advantage, playing up the rumors that swirl around this small town. I’ve never cared what people think about me and I’ve never needed to work hard to impress a woman.
Until now.
Since the first time I laid eyes on Hope Sinclair, I haven’t been able to get her off my mind. But she’s heard about my reputation and wants nothing to do with me. Which is why I’m shocked when she walks up to me one day and kisses the hell out of me.
She’s using me to make her ex back off, but I don’t care. This is the opening I need to finally convince Hope that there’s more to me than she thinks. I just need to convince her to turn this pretend relationship into something real.
Because I love this series! This is another amazing book by Isla Drake! Wyatt and Hope are great and well-developed characters. I love how the author draws you into the story and makes you feel like you're there, feeling all the emotions along with them. This book was an emotional rollercoaster and I loved every second of it! I'm looking forward to the next book of the series.
Loved the story easy to follow, I was rooting for Wyatt and Hope, totally understood the emotional baggage or reputation and how that affects anything you might want to happen. 🌶️🌶️/5 on the spicy scale.
Hope is a travel blogger, and is visiting Oak Hill for her job. Wyatt can't forget her, and when she comes back in to his restaurant, he starts to pursue her. But she is wary and has been hurt.....but love always wins.
I read this as a stand alone from a video. It was great. Some things I was out of the loop but I didn't want to take the time to read the others. I dont like when a series doesn't follow the original characters. But over all was a good book
