4 Stars The reason why I read this book is because I am taking a early childhood education class for my college class and we was assigned this book to read. When I graduate from high school I am going to Hawkeye Community college for my GED and then I plan on transferring over to University of Northern Iowa for my teaching degree because I plan on being a music teacher for high school level for orchestra. The reason why I am taking the early childhood class is because it gives me some teaching experience that I need and let me just say that I love the class. I love being with the kids that I work with because they are so sweet and so cute. When I got this book I thought that it would be really boring and I would not like it at all because I had to read it for school. When I actually started to read this book I have learned a lot of things that I never knew before. This book is really informational for when you are wanting to go into education no matter what grade level you want to teach. In this book there is a lot of things that we need or should know about children and creating a great place for them to learn at. This is also a good book to refer back to when you are questioning something because it really easy to find and look for answers. I would not read this book again but I would if I needed help or I had a question about something. I would recommend this book to anyone that is going to be a teacher or is planing on soon being a teacher because this book has everything you need to know to be a good teacher.
