A new standalone romance from New York Times Bestselling Author Lynn Raye Harris. Sexy, action-packed, and thrilling!
Sold to the highest bidder…
For the past fourteen years, Princess Antonella Rossi has been a virtual prisoner. She has no friends, no fun, and she’s not allowed to leave her aunt and uncle’s Virginia compound without an escort.
But today is her wedding day. A rich sheikh has bought her virginity, and with it her freedom. Any hope of independence Ella’s ever cherished will disappear the instant she faces him across the altar. With time running out and the wedding party gathering, Ella seizes the opportunity to run as far and fast as she can.
Navy SEAL Cash “Money” McQuaid isn’t looking for trouble, but trouble always seems to find him. This time trouble is five foot four and wearing a wedding dress. Rescuing a runaway princess has consequences though, and with his face plastered on the evening news and his career on the line, he realizes there’s only one way out of this mess—he has to marry her!
It’s a marriage in name only, just until he can clear his name and win Ella the freedom she seeks. But shacking up with a gorgeous virgin isn’t as easy as it seems, especially when the sparks snapping between them are hotter and more dangerous than anything Cash has ever experienced. By the time he realizes it’s too late to resist his virgin bride, an unseen enemy is intent on taking her away from him.
Cash is gonna need all his skills—and his friends on the Hostile Operations Team—in order to rescue his princess bride and give her the happily-ever-after she deserves.
The Hostile Operations Team is a covert military Black Ops unit. Their motto is Where None Dare. H.O.T. operators come from all branches of the military. The only criteria for membership: they must be the best of the best!
Lynn Raye Harris is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of sizzling military romantic suspense novels and contemporary romance novels. She lives in Alabama with her husband (former military), her cat, and her American Saddlebred horse.
He was a dangerous man in more ways than one, only the danger was to her heart. Her poor, unloved, starving-for-affection heart.
With a runaway princess bride, a Navy SEAL determined to protect her no matter the cost, and a sizzling romance in the midst of non stop action and suspense; HOT SEAL Bride gives the marriage of convenience trope a whole new meaning!
Princess Antonella Rossi has lived a sheltered existence devoid of any love and affection. Having her hand in marriage and virginity sold to the highest bidder by her power hungry aunt and uncle in order to fix their money issues seems to be what finally sends her over the edge. Unable to imagine her life married to a sheikh old enough to be her father, she does the only thing she can do...she runs.
Cash “Money” McQuaid is a notorious womanizer that hasn't spent more than a few nights with the same woman for fear of her attachment. But when he sees a beautiful woman in a wedding dress being manhandled into a vehicle on the side of the road on his way to his fishing trip, he's not able to walk away. Unfortunately, helping her is a lot more than he thought he was signing up for when he realizes the woman is missing royalty with a price for her return and suddenly he's become enemy number one.
I thought I'd struggle to like Ella since sheltered and naive virginal heroines aren't usually my cuppa. But there was this core of strength in Ella that I couldn't help but connect with. She's sheltered but she's not naive. She's not a pushover and she's not afraid to go after what she wants. Cash struggles to resist the temptation quickly brewing between them and Ella certainly wasn't shy about pushing him past his sanity. I loved her unintentional quirky humor and her tenacity even in the most dire of circumstances.
HOT SEAL Bride was another fantastic addition to the series from one of my absolute favorite romantic suspense authors. Her books are my crack and I swear the woman could write the phone book and I'd read it. The sexual tension between Ella and Cash was absolutely delicious, add into the mix a sizzling slow burn and plenty of action, and I was in book heaven!

The following ratings are out of 5: Romance: 💙❤️💚 Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Story/Plot: 📕📗📘 World building: 🌏🌍🌏 Character development: 😊😄🥹 Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙 Narration Type: Dual Narration
The heroine:Princess Antionella Rossi (a.k.a. Ella) - her parents died when she eight years old and she grew up in the home of her uncle, aunt and cousins though was always treated as a burden and kept in a gilded cage. she was princess of a small sovereign nation near Italy called Capriola. When the people of the country decided on a new form of representative government, they exiled her family. Now that they were running out of money, they sold her to a wealthy foreigner who wanted to marry her for her virginity.
The Hero:Cash “Money” McQuaid - he was a Navy SEAL on the Hostile Operations Team (H.O.T.). He grew up with a jerk of a father and a stepmother who hated him. He left as soon as he could and joined the Navy. He didn’t believe in love and hooked up with plenty of women but never wanted a real relationship. He was on his way to a friend’s cabin for a short fishing vacation.
The Story: Ella was in her wedding gown and getting ready to marry a foreign Sheik whom she didn’t want anything to do with when she saw her chance to escape. She ran from her uncle’s estate which she hadn’t left for years, stole a car and tried to get away. When her uncle’s guard catches up to her and runs her off the road, Cash pulls over to help the bride who was being pushed around. He offers to help her out of her situation.
I don’t usually like the virgin heroine books, but I did like the fact that Ella was running from her family and their guards, and a SEAL was helping her out. They end up getting married in Vegas to keep her away from her family and make her a U.S. Citizen. I loved how protective Cash was of Ella, though I disliked his struggle with wanting her but not wanting to take her virginity. She wanted him, so his struggle with holding back lest the innocent maiden get too many ideas of forever towards him if he slept with her, seemed dumb to me. Though overall the story was good.
This audiobook was told in dual points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Aiden Snow and Avery Caris. Aiden Snow is one of my favorite male narrators with a deep sexy voice. Avery Caris is perfect for Ella with a youthful sounding voice and a great narration style.
What do you do when a man is allergic to love, not to mention marriage? You force and trap him into one, in a twist of circumstances that apparently leaves him no other way out, then hem him in with reasons to do with ‘doing the honourable thing’ because this simply has to extend to his rescuing-people-in-need white knight syndrome. In this case, an escapee virgin princess, kept in her gilded tower or prison.
I got into this with trepidation, because of the virginity and the royal-angle that can go so wrong in many ways. And for me, it did.
‘HOT Seal Bride’ reads like a traditional, old-school Harlequin story (with a title that could have well been ’Tempted by a Virgin’), with very set gender-defined roles (complete with several, infuriating sexist stances the male protagonist typically exhibits)—the manwhore-soldier and the innocent, helpless virgin princess—and that was the most excruciating thing I had to get over because by and large, I actually do like quite a few books in Lynn Raye Harris’s HOT series despite the stereotypes that could be perpetuated in them.
But Cash McQuaid, who understood that love was merely fiction and indignantly sprouted arguments (paraphrased in different ways through the story) why virgins were a no-go and how jaded non-virgin women knew the score just…left me enraged. The many repeated references about how he'd slept with 'innumerable' women as was his routine and wanted nothing to with any virgin certainly didn't leave me too hot either.
I do know that there are many readers who love seeing such bed-hoppers ‘tamed’ and finally acknowledging that yes, the fairytale is also for them. However, I don't count myself among them, the rather…unenlightened attitude of such male protagonists being the primary issue here. And along with it, the rather simplistic assumption that a woman who hasn’t has sex would in fact, confuse sex with love and want a relationship felt like an enormous step back from the other contemporary romances that I’ve read.
Along with the disrespectful instances of 'locker room' talk that I actually found offensive - go ahead, argue that that's normal, unfiltered and honest talk anyway - Cash's so-called falling in love with Ella felt superficial because he wanted her in his bed and couldn't well imagine other men taking his place.
Whether this is merely a view that Harris puts across of her protagonist or whether the author subscribes to it didn’t matter here. That the notion itself existed in a book meant for women written by a woman rubbed me the wrong way.
Plainly put, it’s a peculiar notion of virginity and sex that I can’t subscribe to at all, because it should not have been a big deal at all, particularly after having read books which didn’t deal with virginity like a central commodity to be argued about or the primary source of conflict. But because ‘HOT Seal bride’ took this route, the events that happened in the book followed like clockwork, as was the ultimate ‘downfall’ of the eternal bachelor because holy matrimony was the sole solution—again, this left me very sceptical—out of Ella's conundrum.
I’d hoped that Harris’s HOT SEAL series would have worked for me as well as some books in the actual HOT series did. So far, it hasn’t seemed that way unfortunately and I’m not so sure right now, if it would get better.
A virgin princess running from an arranged marriage (Ella) and a hot navy seal (Cash ) ,what a combination! !! ? This was hot and funny with a little bit of action! and impossible to put down . great job LRH ♡
"Do I excite you, Cash McQuaid? Is that the problem?" "Yes, Ella. That is exactly the problem."
OMG! I absolutely loved this story! I love it when the hero, who's sworn off love and marriage, finds the one woman that can change his mind! The one woman who sees through his tough exterior and gets right to the heart of him.
Princess Antonella Rossi has led a sheltered life. Kept secluded by her aunt and uncle since her parents died, she now finds herself and her innocence promised to a middle-eastern sheikh. But, she won't let that happen and makes a run for it. Literally on the verge of being dragged back to the altar, a white night appears in a black Mustang and saves her from what she was sure would be a fate worse than death. But, how far will he go to keep her safe, when he doesn't even know her? When it becomes clear that the only thing that can save her, and save his reputation, is the one rule he swore he'd never break, can they keep up the charade long enough to gain her freedom?
Cash "Money" McQuaid just wanted a nice, quiet, weekend fishing at the river. No excitement, no trouble, just relaxation and solitude. That all changes when he comes upon a girl in a wedding dress being manhandled on the roadside. Doing what he does best, he rescues her, but at what cost? He's got two rules: (1) No Marriage; (2) No virgins. Now, with his reputation on the line, and the media believing he's kidnapped her, there is only one way out to save them both. Break rule number one. How long can he hold out before he breaks rule number two?
I loved the banter between these two. She can shock him with a simple sentence and put him in his place with the next. His inner battle between giving in to his desire and doing what he thinks is the right thing was both heartwarming and humorous. These men of HOT are just that!! HOT! And completely swoon-worthy. This is a great addition to the HOT Seal Team series. If you haven't read it, do it as soon as possible!
What do you get when you cross a HOT operator who defines himself as a “man slut” and a Virgin exiles princess running from an arranged marriage? I will tell you what....laughs, love, action, sarcasm and a visit with some old friends.
Cash thinks he is going to relax for a few days, do some fishing and be alone in a nice peaceful cabin. Of course, nothing for HOT ever goes smoothly...when he sees as a damsel in distress, in a wedding dress, his instincts won’t let him drive by and not intervene. What follows is an amazing story full of innocence, laughter, lots of sexual tension (did you remember I said this princess is a virgin) and a mission to protect a young princess from being harmed by the relatives she has spent most of her lives with and the man they promised her to.
I absolutely loved Ella, she was this amazing combination of innocence and snark in a beautiful young woman. I love the back and forth comments and one liners she threw at Cash and how she got him to smile, laugh and let his guard down. Cash was heartwarming as his gruff self who will always help those in need but has no idea how to help himself. Of course this also rather frustrating and resulting in rolling my eyes and saying things like “You are and idiot and “Are you seriously that clueless” to my book at various times. All in all another fantastic addition to the HOT series...oh and the Alex teaser.....KILLING ME! I need that book now too please!
As always with this series, this book was loaded with super sexy guys and plenty of suspense. Cash had been a favorite of mine for a while, and who wouldn't want to see the big guy fall after he's been so adamant that he never will? Ella would not have been what I would have predicted for him. Most of the women in the HOT series have been fierce and strong all on their own. They didn't necessarily need the guys, but they sure did want them. Ella was different. She truly needed Cash. At first she seemed week, naive, and needy, but as the story developed, her core of steel began to make an appearance. I especially loved how she handled her cousins at the end of the book. She didn't start off seeming like she should be a HOT heroine, but she totally earned her place with them and her place in Cash's heart. He finally fell, and I couldn't be happier. I also enjoyed the excerpt at the end from the next book. I can't wait to see what happens with Camel. I happily received an ARC from the publisher.
Wow! How can I express my thoughts except OMG!!! I think this is one of the hottest of the Hostile Series. The chemistry between Ella and Cash is smoking. Princess Ella is a virgin, and has been held prisoner for 14 years by her Aunt and Uncle. She is being forced to marry a Shiek so he can get her money. She escapes in a car while dressed in her wedding gown. Cash is on his way to go fishing when he sees someone trying to force her into another car. He rescues her. The Hot team thinks they should marry to save her from the Shiek. You will also enjoy the humorous side thrown into this nail biting romantic story. While sparks are flying, Ella keeps you laughing at her comments. I highly recommend this book. I volunteered to read and review this ARC.
I loved HOT Seal Bride! I was drawn in from the beginnning, and this book was impossible to put down. Cash and Ella's story is swoon-worthy and incendiary! Lynn Raye Harris always writes a good book. I wondered how she was going to top her latest book, HOT Valor. It was awesome. Hot seal bride jumped over that hurdle and knocked it down. The suspense keeps you guessing what is going to happen next, and the emotions conveyed in HOT Seal Bride were beautiful. Cash and Ella had you rooting for their happily every after from the very first page. I had to fan myself a couple of times because HOT Seal bride was extra steamy. I can't wait until the next book. The epilogue left a jaw- dropping teaser!
Another perfect addition to the HOT series! I'll never tire of this world. Ms. Harris manages to make each of her books unique and the only formula she follows is always a guaranteed HEA (and the couples never have an ordinary or dull courtship). This one had my favorites: action, fast-paced, engaging characters, romance, humor, the return of previous characters, and just enough angst to keep you invested. Add to that an overarching storyline to keep you hooked for the next character.
Cash is more than a bit stubborn, but Ella balances and tears that down with her innocence, vulnerability, and intuition. I started to say she has a naivety about her, but a line from the book stood out to me to explain how she was more, "she was both worldly and virginal at the same time."
I (very gratefully!) received an ARC of this book from the author for an honest review.
Oh wow okay this book was everything! Definitely one of my favorite ones! (Man these seals are really showing the alpha and echo squad up! Still love all the others though!) I don’t know how many times I’m gonna say this, but just when you think they couldn’t get any better, you read the next book.
I mean this book has a runaway princess, an arranged marriage, some superb angst, lust, passion and tension, a hot tatted navy seal, literally what more could you want?
Cash has been one that I’ve been looking forward to read for a while now. He’s notorious for being the guy that always hooks up and will never settle down. In fact, it’s his number one rule; never marry. He’s been happily making fun of all of his teammates who have gotten married. So what happens when Cash runs into Ella who is being forced to go back to her wedding after running away? Well obviously he saves her, whisks her away and then marries her. Wait what?
Ha yeah, he’s kinda forced to marry her since her aunt and uncle have claimed he’s kidnapped her and the only way to clear his name is if they act as if they eloped. So that’s what they do. But there’s no feelings whatsoever. Like none. Right?
Another one of Cash’s rules is no virgins, and that’s exactly what Ella is. A virgin princess (or queen but shh), and she’s hellbent that Cash is gonna change that, but he’s hellbent that that’s never gonna happen. Until it does lol.
So some feelings start growing, feelings start getting denied and all that angsty stuff that we all just can’t help but love. Of course Cash walks away when she says she wants more and then when he finally figures out that he also wants more, she’s kidnapped and forced to marry the original dude she was sold (literally) to.
Of course Cash, who is legitimately her husband, has some issues with this, so of course he rescues her and proclaims is undying love for her and happy every after. Literally. That ending scene was so cute and I can’t wait to see more from them!
Now it’s Alexei’s turn and boy oh boy am I excited for his story!
HOT Seal Bride HOT Seal Team series, Book 4 Lynn Raye Harris, author
It's always fun and an exciting time when returning to this series. Ms. Harris never fails to provide a wild tale of sexual tension, yet sensuality among the elite military men and women. Getting there and staying there is even more exciting, as they prepare to rescue those that find themselves in a perilous situation. This situation: Kidnapping; fraudulent secrets, and human trafficking.
The story is about Cash "Money" McQuaid, a Navy Seal and Princess Antonella Maria Rossi. Both have lived through torrid and loveless childhoods and are brought together when the Princess runs away from her groom on her wedding day. Cash sights her on the side of the road with another man attempting to force her into a car. Cash rescues her only to be forced into a marriage with her to protect himself from being arrested for abduction. In lies a very interesting tale of their love story. I highly recommend this story.
I was gifted an audio book from the author and leave this review in exchange.
Hot Seal Bride by Lynn Raye Harris was the fourth book in her Hot Seal Team series.
I enjoyed both Cash “Money” McQuaid and Princess Antonella “Ella” Rossi. Cash had some personal issues from growing up without love that had him remaining single and emotionally unattached for life. Ella had been unknowingly kept as a prisoner her entire life by her aunt and uncle. She was secluded from everyone and everything and was being forced to marry a sheik decades older. She managed to run away - right into Cash’s path and the story began.
I enjoyed both characters as well as the storyline. It was well written and developed with an action packed Navy Seal protective alpha type plot combined with plenty of steam. It also included many of the other Seal members as supporting characters. Additionally, Harris set the stage for the next book in the series focusing on Camel, Hot Seal Redemption. All in all, it was a quick, fun and Cinderella themed read.
Who would have thought a virgin princess could scare a SEAL? Not me. When Cash heads off for a weekend of fishing, he caught something - a runaway bride/princess/virgin. She was set to marry someone HOT is very familiar with, at a high price due to her innocence, but Cash takes over. The constant jokes with his team and her sassiness made this one a favorite. We can always read about macho men with steel emotions taking out the enemy, but put a pretty face full of innocence and spark in front of them that makes it exciting. Another fabulous read, a standalone but always better to read the whole group. I received my copy from the author and wrote my review voluntarily.

Holy man! Where do I ever begin?? I swear the alpha men in Lynn’s books get hotter and sweeter with a hint of danger with every book I read. Cash and Ella were so beautifully matched and their chemistry nearly burned my iPad up as I read it. I can’t even put into words the love I have for these men and the women who steal their hearts.
Hot Seal Bride is absolutely captivating from start to finish. Seriously! The romance and passion between Cash and Ella is HOT HOT HOT!!! There’s action, humor and romance to keep you well entertained and satisfied. Of course, the other HOT guys in the book helped a lot, too! Plus the epilogue? Now I can’t wait to read Alex’s story. As always, another read by Lynn Raye Harris I highly recommend!
Lynn Raye Harris does it again with her hot, sexy, alpha men who love their jobs and women, and no way will they ever be tied down. Expect the unexpected and the unpredictable. It has everything you'd want in a good story: tension, passion, deception, suspense, and mystery. There's frustration, fear, desperation, lies, mayhem, heartache, revenge, war, chaos, death, hell, and fate that is inescapable. It is an awesome tale that I couldn't put down. I was so enthralled with this world that Lynn has created. The complex characters are wonderfully written and become a part of you. This is one author whose other work I will be reading for sure.
Hot Seal Bride is a steamy novel! This book does seem like it is a part of a series, but it does not need to be read in order to understand the story. This is the first book in this series I have read and I did not feel lost. If anything, it made me curious as to how some of the minor characters got together. This book has mystery, heat, and a lot of action. If this is the type of book you like, get your copy now.
The plot of this book was exciting for me. It took me by surprise. I knew that these two characters were getting married, but I didn’t know why. Boy was it a shocker when I read the beginning of this book. This author does a good job of discussing a topic that can be quite touchy depending on which culture you come from. For some, it is appalling, while for others it might seem a little more acceptable. Either way, it was a good addition into this story.
I liked both characters in this book. Cash is one hot Navy Seal. What I love most about him is that being a Navy Seal is ingrained in his character and soul. He never once hesitates to make a decision and protect others. I love that about him. Then you have Ella. She is a shock on her own. She has a whole back story that surprised the heck out of me. She is also a strong woman. Even though she has been through some stuff in the past, she does not let that hinder her from living her life. I like her take charge attitude.
The heat in this book is steaming hot. There were a couple of chapters that I felt my face heating up as I read them. One even had me looking to my husband to make sure he wasn’t paying me any attention. These characters have an underlying slow burn that starts almost from the beginning. I mean each character is described as attractive and Ella has lead a sheltered life. So just imagine where that might take you then double it. That is how hot this book is.
I really enjoyed the writing style of this book. This author did an amazing job with this story line. It was everything I expected and more. The pace of this story was fast, but it fit the type of story it is. There was plenty of action, but also some slower, sweet areas. The characters were all written well.
Overall, this was a great book. I really enjoyed the storyline and the characters. I want to go back and learn more about some of the minor characters while also continuing on with this series and seeing which character is going to get bit by the bug next. I would recommend this book to others who like a lot of heat and action in their books.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Where do I begin? This is such a great addition to the HOT series! Cash "Money" McQuaid is part of the SEAL team of of the Hot group. He has sworn off marriage and believes love is not meant to last. He gives his fellow teammates a bad time any chance he gets since most have fallen in love and in his words "p**sy whipped" He is headed to a cabin for fishing one weekend when he comes across Ella who is being dragged by a man to get into a car. His sense of right and wrong tells he needs to rescue the bride to be. Ella is a young woman who has been sheltered and told she must marry Sheikh Fahd in order to save her family. Her family consists of her uncle, aunt and two cousins. She is unaware at the time she decides to run away from her family that she has been lied to all this time about who and what she is. Cash rescues Ella from the man who is trying to take her back to the wedding she is not intending to go through with. The two end up at the cabin that Cash was heading to. He receives a call from one of his teammates informing him that Ella's aunt and uncle have reported him as having kidnapped her. His team meets him at the cabin and shortly after a plan is hatched to save Ella and to save Cash's reputation. They are to get married and make sure the media knows all about it. Hoping that this will save Ella from her aunt and uncle and hopefully Sheikh Fahd will see that Ella is no longer available. Cash is having a hard time with his feelings for Ella. His teammates are giving him a hard time and are throwing his words back at him in regards to marriage and love. I love the banter between the two and Ella certainly seems to know how to get to him. Trouble soon finds them again when the threat of her family and the Sheikh come back. Time to call in his team and rescue the woman he now admits he loves. I really enjoyed hearing about all the men of Hot and I loved that Hawk played such a huge part in this book since he is no longer an active member of the team. This was a very well written book. Full of action and suspense and of course one very HOT couple. Great HEA!
I’ve read all the HOT novels and loved every single one of them. They never get boring because every character is unique, and each plot offers something fun and new. All the HOT books are, well… HOT, but “HOT SEAL Bride” is a bit of a departure, like a modern “HOT SEAL” fairytale.
Just imagine a “Hostile Operations Team” retelling of Cinderella: “Ella” is a lovely young woman who was orphaned at a young age, taken in by wealthy relatives (with 2 spoiled female cousins, of course), shut away from the world around her. She’s raised to believe that she’s part of a noble family, but of no particular worth, other than to marry well so that can repay the relatives who took her in and raised her. But at the very last minute, she can’t bring herself to go through with the arranged marriage, and tries to leave the estate….
“Prince Charming” is Cash McQuaid, a nice guy from the wrong side of the tracks, with nearly crippling commitment issues. All he wanted to do was spend a few days of Leave at his buddy’s cabin, fishing, but on his way there, he came across Ella, being dragged back to her wedding by a man with a gun, and well…what can I say? He’s a nice guy.
Besides, like he tells Ells, “SEALs save people.”
The most fun thing though, is that this is “HOT” – in all possible ways. There’s lots of tension between Ella and Cash, and there’s suspense, too because both of those things are to be expected in a “HOT” novel, but there’s a fun little bonus of “HOT-ness” because of the touch of the unexpected: Ella’s a Princess, but she’s a little bit shocking. And Cash is a rough-and-ready SEAL who goes through women like Kleenex, yet he’s determined NOT to touch Ella… and it’s pretty darn funny, watching it all unfold.
And the back-and-forth between the guys always make me smile:
“Ella, these two idiots are my teammates. Alex Kamarov and Cody McCormick. You can call them whatever you like, including *sshole - they’ll answer to it.”
Did that make you grin as big as *I* did? After this fun little tale, I can’t wait to read the next one!
I don’t know if I’m more rocked by this HOT book or by the cliffhanger epilogue, BUT in true Lynn Raye Harris form, HOT SEAL Bride sizzles and left me damn near panting for more. I literally could NOT put it down and read the entire book in one day.
Cash “Money” McQuaid sure as hell isn’t looking for love and he wants nothing to do with virginal Ella, but from the moment he rushes to her rescue he knows there’s more to her story than even she knows.
Ella’s royal family was exiled years ago and she’s spent 14 years virtually a captive of her cruel Aunt and Uncle. When she makes the snap second decision to bolt from a forced and prearranged marriage, she has literally no idea how or where to go.
Cash struggles with a past of his own, and as a hardened warrior he refuses to open his heart even a fraction - despite the way naive Ella continually makes him think of only ONE specific thing - as they escape to keep her safe and unravel the web of lies Ella’s family has spun around her.
When they are ironically forced together in order for him to protect her, Money fails to see that there are already cracks forming in the armor of his guarded heart, no matter how much he says so otherwise.
As his HOT brothers can’t help but razz the self-proclaimed bachelor, Cash finally gives in to kissing untouched and curious Ella. So when she begs him to be her first? Well, that’s as HOT as it could possibly be and sweet Ella wants to learn.it.all. from hard-bodied HOTtie McQuaid.
Ella feels that their connection is the real deal despite Cash’s continued fight against their intense connection. Can Money finally accept the true cost of happiness and pay with his whole heart for a chance at the future?
HOT SEAL Bride is the kind of story that most little girls wish was a variation of our own story; an exiled princess escapes a bad situation only to be rescued by a dashing alpha protector who ultimately falls madly in love with her. But just like in real life there were several real challenges for Ella and Cash, beyond the internal struggles they both faced. With enemies at every corner, Ella and Cash were on high alert too often, until they weren’t and then disaster strikes. Ella’s intelligence and spunk are undeniable especially once she discovers her confidence in herself and refuses to back down anymore, after all no queen will ever let anyone make her bow. Cash is the type of guy destined to eat his words, and thankfully once he meets the woman that will hold his heart and soul, he is not above asking for forgiveness from those he slighted and begging their help. Just like any family, when Cash and Ella need their friends’ support there is no question they will do whatever it takes. The passion, laughs, sweetness, and heartbreak that are essential to a truly fantastic romantic novel are front and center in this novel along with the action and drama that Ms. Harris always supplies for us. I will say that if you have issues with waiting for long periods of time between teasers and the next book, DO NOT READ THE EPILOGUE. I could not stop squealing after reading that one and like I said I will be stalking social media every second for news about that next novel. You really know how to make a girl crave, Lynn. No idea where she comes up with this stuff, but damn I wish I had that skill!
I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, secrets, betrayal, suspense, and heartbreak.

Can she count on Cash and his team?
I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.
I love reading books by Lynn Raye Harris because I know they are always great reads. This installment in the HOT series brings up Cash ‘Money’ McQuaid who is determined to remain a bachelor. He gleefully harasses he teammates who have found love by calling them whipped. He doesn’t want a relationship. He was headed for a weekend fishing trip when he stops to rescue a woman in distress.
Ella is an innocent, with a solid dash of vixen. She has Cash’s full attention from the moment they meet and keeps him off balance. She has been raised by her aunt and uncle in exile from her country where she is a princess. Despite her title she has been extremely sheltered in most matters.
When Cash finds Ella along the side of the road she is trying to escape her uncle’s security guard to avoid being dragged back to an arranged marriage to wealthy older man from Quirim. Ella had decided to run away moments before walking down the aisle to get married.
Cash is forced to marry Ella to protect her and keep himself out of trouble. How can a marriage on paper go wrong?! What happens next is a whirlwind of suspense, fun and sexy interactions between Cash and Ella.
I read this book in one sitting because I couldn’t wait to find out what happened next. The book has appearances by previous characters and gives a strong hint at who will find love next.
I received this book as an ARC; however I would have happily bought this while still on pre-order!
This is the 4th book of the series. However, you will understand more if you’ve read the Hostile Operations Team (HOT Team). Also, there are other books in the series I would read before continuing onto the series as it will help with understanding.
If you want to read what the book is about, read above the reviews.
Our hero is off on a solo fishing trip. Only the trip was sidelined by a bride to be running away and who was being forced to go back and it wasn’t happening on his watch. He rescues the woman only to find himself being told they will marry to get her out from under her aunt and uncle’s control.
Our heroine has been under lock and key since moving in with her aunt and uncle. However, now they need money and are selling her and her virginity off and the person is much older and crass. At the last minute she decides she can’t do it and makes a run for it only to find she needs help and gets it in the form of the hero and marriage.
The plot is good and involves others from the HOT Teams. I think the hero protests too much about marriage, and yet a divorce isn’t possible anytime soon. I really did feel a connection to both the hero and heroine. The plot was unique and kept moving which was interesting and a page turner.
This wasn’t too bad and kept me reading as I wanted to know where the story was going next. I sure hope the next book in the series will be as good.
Fun, but a little predictable. I loved Cash and the response from his team when they all showed up to help was entertaining. It took a bit for me to warm up to Ella, but I did get there. She was a little more on the helpless damsel in distress side than most of the heroines have been in the series. However, she was smart and she did evolve as the story progressed. I loved that aspect. I got the Audible of this one because I'm now addicted to Aiden Snow. This was the first with a female reading female POV chapters for me to try. Again, it took a bit for me to get used to Caris' voice, but I was on board by the end. My first Lynn Raye Harris book was a HOT SEAL book, Kamel's story, so I'm partial to the SEALs. This was not a top 5 for me, but I was thoroughly entertained and would probably read it again sometime.
I may take a break from binging the HOT books though because they are getting formulaic unfortunately. I still love them though and will continue reading them. I'm reading them in publication order and can't wait to get to Black's Bandits. Ian Black intrigues me and I'm beginning to feel bad for him with all the females he might show interest in choosing other men. I felt he was a little out of character in the last couple books though. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5, also because of formulaic plots. As long as the stories remain fast paced and exciting, I can get over the rescue the kidnapped damsel theme though.
“Hot Seal Bride” is a fun, sexy read, though the storyline and characters were annoying at times. Cash (aka Money) is a Navy Seal who saves Ella (an exiled princess) from an unwanted arranged marriage.
She is a sheltered, naïve virgin. Her relatives monitored her computer and television usage, she never owned a cell phone, and she was rarely allowed off the family compound in Virginia. As a result, she is surprised to gain a better understanding of the real world and the lies that were told to her by her relatives.
Cash and Ella are forced to marry to save Ella from her relatives and the sheik who are looking for her. The connection between Cash and Ella was a struggle for me. He’s a playboy who has sworn off virgins and marriage, yet throughout the book he has a weird obsession about how he has been the only one to pleasure Ella. That repetitive obsession was a bit creepy and odd after he said that he didn’t sleep with virgins. He was attracted to her innocence, yet he also liked that Ella’s aunt made her watch porn before her marriage to better understand sex.
Meanwhile Ella’s character is not developed very well. She falls in love with Cash who protects her and connects with her sexually, yet the deeper connection between them isn’t shown.
I enjoyed meeting Cash’s other Navy Seal colleagues, though I had hoped that more of the book included military operations. This book was OK, but I didn’t love it.
What can I say but what another great book by Lynn Raye Harris! HOT SEAL Bride book # 4 in the HOT SEAL Team series is a winner in my book!!! Navy SEAL Cash "Money" McQuaid just wanted to go fishing when he comes upon a scene of a man trying to force a woman in a wedding dress into a car. Being the Navy SEAL that he is Cash stops the man from doing this. That is when all the story really starts! The woman in the wedding dress is Princess Antonella "Ella" Rossi and she is fleeing from being forced into marrying a rich sheihk who wanted her for her virginity. Ella lived a sheltered life with her greedy uncle and aunt who raised her after her parents died, it was the uncle and aunt pushing her to marry said sheihk. Rebelling Ella flees before the wedding but is caught up to and is tried to be force to go back to the wedding. This is the situation Cash happens upon. Cash and Ella flee and go on the run. Have I gotten your interest yet, I suggest you read the story to find out the rest of the story. Cash is a hero to die for and Ella is gorgeous and sexy but naive about many things but learns how to handle herself with the best. Throw in a marriage of convenience to the real thing and wondering why her uncle and aunt were pushing her so hard to marry the sheihk and hot encounters, what more can you ask for! A sure winner!! I received an ARC for an honest review.
