3.5 stars rounded down. I haven’t played this yet, but overall my impressions after reading it are somewhat positive. I’ve played Kobolds Ate My Baby and the Return to Dark Tower TTRPG and had a lot of fun with both, so I can say that I do like the Polymorph system which this also uses. It’s a simple and clever system that is rules-light but feels good to play. My main knock on Rebel Scum is that I wish it had included either an adventure or some random tables to generate adventures. And in general it just feels a bit incomplete.
