"You are my place of pleasure, Eden. Trust me, I'm going to take all the pleasure your body has to offer me."
In a world where men are superior, women are given one job. BREED. Eden Daughtler doesn't feel that she has that responsibility. She doesn't want to get dressed up and act like a princess. She wants to run through the woods barefoot and connect with nature. One day she comes home to discover that she will be sent to the castle for the Blood Ceremony. It's a ceremony where the new king chooses a mate. She doesn't want to be with the king and she tries hard not to catch his eye...but she does. Tristian Pierce is selfish, heartless, and arrogant. She wants to change the way women are looked at. But how will she stop her new king from breeding her in the process...?
I only made it 50% through. This book read like more like a diary than a story. The character writing about herself and the happenings around her. “I’m such and such, and I look like this.”
There was no backstory or real world-building. It isn’t explained why everyone keeps using breed in its various conjugations. So it makes it harder to understand everyone’s POV and perspective
This was either written by AI or never looked at again after the rough draft. Choppy storyline, poor grammar and just overall bad. I do not recommend, even if you get it from Kindle Unlimited.
I loved the book! I think the author did an amazing job making the book different from other shifter books. This book was a little slow starting up but I fell in love with the whole series
Tristan, I hope the tp rips every time you wipe 🙄 Eden character development was pretty awesome. Unique story, I've never read a shifter book where they change mates...
