THIS FEELS LIKE HELL is an ode to love and pain - hurt and desire. Through experiences and emotions, the work in this collection details the human existence in a familiarized and nostalgic way. Micayla Tusing captures the complexities of finding comfort in affliction, and living with the lasting imprint of an indelible love. Using Polaroids and poetry, Tusing aims to beautify the mundane and define the collective emotions of a painful and loving humanity. THIS FEELS LIKE HELL describes the nightmares and daydreams of young adulthood, creating a culmination of poetry that can be felt for a lifetime.
if you love poetry you’ll love this. if you love seeing someone take such powerful feelings we have all felt and put them into such beautiful words, you’ll love this!!!! give it a read and it’ll be great to add to your collection
Jk……. This book will always be near and dear to my heart bc it was the very first piece of work I published - SELF published at that. Some poems I’ve definitely outgrown because I literally had written them when I was 18 or 19 but hey, when I’m 50 or something I’ll read this and remember who I was back then. TFLH u will always be a slay to me!!!!
