This book was incredible! One of the best debut novels I have ever read. Chambers has an amazing voice for such a new author. This story was definitely not for the faint of heart. I was nearly in tears in the very first chapter!

Such intensity, such emotion, and a really creative take on the after life. I highly recommend Kendry the Vicious to all of my romantasy lovers out there!!

This book deserves far more attention than it’s getting. The story of Lena and Kendry is perfect. I enjoyed this book far more than I ever even expected to when I first started it. The world building was enough to set the scene and paint a good picture without it being too much or getting lost in it. I can confidently say I have never read anything like it and loved how refreshingly new it was. I never had a single prediction of how it would end and I loved that I was reading with bated breath at the end. It’s a story like this that makes me remember why I love reading. I wish I could give this book more than five stars!

I loved this story. I loved these characters. The story is original and interesting. The FMC is so strong and I love how she stands up for herself and doesn’t need to be constantly saved. Highly recommend and will continue the series.

Slow start, but hang in there.

This book was surprisingly good! It was slow in the beginning but just interesting enough that I kept going. It was like a “yeah, yeah, come ooon” situation, but still. Once she meets Kendry and things start picking up, it is so funny. I was highlighting left and right.
All of the characters are incredible, but Caedes is queen 🫶
I will definitely continue the series. Bring on the twin gates!

Cried like a baby at the end chapters. It was a tough read, never read anything like it. I cannot wait for the next books!! It is not what you think it will be. It’s more. The emotional turmoil, questioning of your own morals. The smut is 🌶️🌶️🌶️ the FML is badass and relatable as hell! I want someone to be as possessive and loving as Kendry! That man OOOOFFFF 🤤

decent book

Took me awhile to read because it was slightly boring at times but good take on heaven and hell etc with some spice. Few parts of the book made me laugh character humor is good. It is a series although standalone but I don’t think I will read the others.

A great plot with heart wrenching moments, hilarious internal dialogue and many times of "I don't know how this is going to end."

Would read again but need to build strength and recover from this epic story first. Excited (and scared) for the next in the series!
