Unstuck: A Life Manual On How To Be More Creative, Overcome Your Obstacles, and Get Shit Done

Rate this book
The more we see photoshopped images of people’s “best lives”, the more we often wonder what we are doing wrong. In reality, we are doing NOTHING wrong! UNSTUCK helps alleviate the fear of compare-and-despair-ism that we lack talent or smarts. When we think about life – it’s ultimately pretty simple. What makes it complex are the myriad things human beings do to … well … f*ck things up.

This short and sweet book shows you how to get shit done, stop overthinking, be more productive, and create more good stuff. In 54 bite sized lessons, UNSTUCK explores how what we think holds us back is actually the very thing we need in order to move forward. Not only WHERE we are in life but also WHO we are is exactly the right recipe for success. In the actual context of life itself, everything is either a big mistake (or a big miracle), and all the unfolding is happening perfectly. If we could just learn the steps needed to embrace the possibilities, we realize that the things we think are in our way in life, are actually the way to living fully.

Maybe it's more inspirational if you've gone to his classes... I bought it to get unstuck creatively, but realised along the way, that I'm the only one that can unstuck myself and not while reading a book.

Unstuck is literally what it says, it is… it makes you feel human again… it makes you realise that you’re a spiritual being having all these human experiences on earth and it’s a beautiful life when we give ourselves the permission to play and be the best versions of us… this book is a simple read. No fluff.

I'd give this a read if I wanted a quick pep talk. Nothing new or awe-inspiring but good to have it on hand for those moments when you need someone to inspire or validate.

This definitely will help you get unstuck as an author, artist, actor or musician or however you identify yourself in the creative field. Loved it.

This is neither a long nor hard to read book, but each short chapter is jam-packed with great philosophy, so to me, the way to consume it is a little bit at a time, and let that sink in.

In Unstuck, Anthony takes the brilliant lessons that he regularly shares with actors and makes them accessible and applicable to everyone (they always are anyway!).

The short chapters make it perfect to dip in and out of in moments where you find yourself in a creative wasteland or you need reaffirming in the beauty of humanity.
