Amy Campbell is an independent author and librarian. She grew up in Houston, which she still calls home. Amy writes epic fantasy novels about men and women who are unapologetically true to themselves (and throws in the occasional pegasus or chupacabra to keep it interesting). When not working at the library or writing, Amy is chasing after her two busy young boys.

I maybe need a break from these. The plots are all starting to feel the same, much as I love the world and the characters.

Oh my goodness, Amy has done it yet again! The Tales of The Outlaw Mages remains one of the best written series I've ever had the pleasure of reading, and Persuader definitely lives up to the previous three books!

In Persuader, we explore more of the character Vixen, and the secret legacy that she turned her back on years ago. During a conversation with Jefferson, Vixen reveals that she is actually Spark Valoria Kildare, daughter and heir to the Luminary, the living avatar of Garus. She wishes to use her influence to help protect the Gutter, and her fellow Outlaw Mages.

I adored learning more about Vixen and her history. She faces her own trials and tribulations in this book, both past and present, and she remains vigilant throughout.

Blaise remains the absolute treasure/cinnamon roll I fell in love with in Breaker. The mental scars from his past endeavours are still present, but with Jefferson by his side, love remains stronger than fear.

And as always, the Pegasi are just awesome and sassy!

As with the other three books, I honestly can't recommend Persuader enough! More people need to know about this absolutely wonderful series!

This is one of my favorite books! Persuader introduces us to a new main character, but keeps the old ones. But what I loved was some of the themes, relating to who the god, Garus, turns out to be, and also to what love means between different people, what is and isn't true love.
