A return to the past sparks a new future...

International hotel manager Ben Carter is not sticking around Hearts Bend. He's just home to sell the inn he inherited from his grandparents. The place holds all his best memories-especially the ones that include regular summer guest Cami Jackson. But she's been out of his life for years, and she's not coming back...

Real estate developer Cami Jackson is ready to take over as VP of her father's company. When the Hearts Bend Inn comes on the market, she wants to swoop it up, if only because of the sweet memories of her favorite summers. The last thing she expects to find is her first love back to sign on the dotted line.

But for her father, the inn holds memories of a terrible tragedy, and he wants to kill the deal. An impulsive decision could turn into a lost-but-found dream...but only if Ben and Cami can keep the past from tearing them apart-again.

You’ll Be Mine was a sweet second chance at love story set in the wonderful community of Hearts Bend. I enjoyed the way Ben and Cami still felt the pull toward each other, even though they were now adults.

The attraction that bloomed between them back when they were teens was interrupted by the death of Cami’s mother. There are beautiful memories for Cami at the Hearts Bend Inn, but are they overshadowed by the painful final memory which changed everything for her?

Ben and Cami both had faith journeys to take in this novel. They had both pulled away from a relationship with God due to their perception of events in the past. They were fortunate to have people in their lives who were willing to point out God’s truths to them and help them gain new perspectives.

I enjoyed this sweet story and hope to read more books set in Hearts Bend in the future.

'The Lord and I aren't exactly on speaking terms.'

I loved the town of Hearts Bend, Tennessee when Rachel Hauck first invented it. It is one of those little places you want to visit and perhaps live in, even though you can't cause it's fictional. Hauck has teamed up with Mandy Boerma to take us back to this delightful place for another visit.

Ben Carter's grandparents ran the old inn in Hearts Bend and now both have passed on, and Ben must make a decision about the inn. Should he stay on and try to run it, even though it's in great need of improvements, or sell it and return to his high powered job out of the country? And there's Cami, who spent summers at the inn with her mother, but hasn't returned in fifteen years, and who had her first kiss from Ben Carter.

Lots of decisions must be made here by both these folks. And they are torn as to what those decisions will be. But both are trying to lean on the Lord for the wisdom to make the right decision. Can they do it?

Come on back to this delightful town and meet old friends, have your heart touched great by being here. You won't regret it.

My thanks to Sunrise Publishing for a copy of this book. The opinion here is entirely my own.

4.5! I fell in love with the town of Hearts Bend when I read Rachel Hauck’s Wedding Collection series a couple years ago. It was so great to see my favorite small town back and get to visit a few of the characters again along with getting to know some brand new ones. Rachel Hauck is a favorite author of mine and Mandy Boerma is a debut author who did an amazing job with this book!

You’ll be Mine is a sweet love story. It is also a story of forgiveness, healing, and hope. I just loved it! Cami and Ben shared their first kiss years ago at the age of 15 at Ben’s grandparents inn. This place was very special to Cami. Now years later it is the place that shattered her heart. When the inn goes up for sale Cami has a feeling she needs to take a look at it. When she arrives she runs into Ben again.

I loved that Cami was a strong, savvy business women and that it was something both her and Ben shared and understood about each other. But they also shared the love of this small town and had a deep love and commitment to their families. Cami has a hurt past and has lost an important piece of her. Ben and Cami share something so special and I love how he helps her heal and find that piece of herself again. Every time he took her hand or they shared one of their sweet kisses, I melted. This book had a few surprises for me as well.

You’ll Be Mine is a Christian fiction story, a favorite genre of mine, so there are messages of faith intertwined. The characters also talk to God for help with their personal situations. It truly is a beautiful story. If you love sweet, wholesome romances you will enjoy this!

I was given a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

One word sums up this book – sweet. It is a perfect summer read with great primary and secondary characters. You’ll Be Mine is serious one moment, but then the next scene will make you chuckle. The story moves at a good pace. I wasn’t bored at all and only stopped reading because I needed to sleep. There’s a strong faith element in it that brings home the point that we need to trust God and then let Him go to work for us. I particularly liked the lifelong love aspect of the story. I enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading more by Mandy Boerma. I received an advance read copy for review, but I’ve ordered the paperback.

You’ll Be Mine was such a fun and sweet return to the charming town of Hearts Bend, Tennessee. I loved our two main characters, Ben and Cami. They were written well and their struggles relatable. I loved the journey the author took us on and the heavy themes of learning to trust in the Lord even and especially when we have no idea what’s to come, as well as the way she handled the forgiveness arc our heroine, Cami went through. All of the fun side characters like Annalise, Auntie May and Walt were such a delight.

What a sweet read! I absolutely love the fictional town of Heart’s Bend, Tennessee, and I loved this return to it. The setting of a small town inn was quaint and perfect—its so easy to picture it in my mind. I loved the story of romance between two childhood sweethearts who grew apart after tragedy. I also loved the themes of misunderstandings, long held hurts, and finding grace and forgiveness. This is the ideal book for a stressful time, when you just want to relax with a sweet, happy, faith filled story. I can’t wait to read more from this series! Thanks to Just Read Tours and Sunrise Publishing for the review copy. All opinions are my own.

You'll Be Mine by Mandy Boerma is book #2 in The Hearts Bend Collection. Cami Jackson is a top real estate developer in Nashville working for her father. She gets an e-mail telling her that Hearts Bend Inn might be for sale and she jumps at the opportunity to put in her bid. She has sweet memories there of her childhood. She hasn't been back for 15 years. Ben Carter is back in town. He's an international hotel manager opening up a new hotel in Sydney. He's back to sell his grandparent's inn. Before he even puts it on the market here comes Cami his first childhood love. As they spend time together, old feelings keep resurfacing. The only problem is he is headed back to Sydney and she is headed to Indy to open up a new office for her father's company. Will Hearts Bend and the Inn be enough to draw them back to each other?
There is so much more to this story. It throws a few twists in there that I think you will really enjoy. It had a strong faith element which I loved. It was the kind of book that put a smile on your face the whole time. Ben and Cami had such a fun banter. There was a cute scene at the 4th of July festival where Sam and Chloe make an appearance (Book #1). I promise you'll be laughing imagining it. It was such enjoyment watching them get to know each other after all these years. It was a sweet love story that you won't want to miss, but alas no epilogue in sight!

I loved Rachel Hauck's Hearts Bend series, and it was a delight to be allowed a return visit to that charming little town.
Cami is an intriguing heroine, and I loved her right from the start. She and Ben have a history that goes way back, and will they allow their past friendship to develop into something more?
The setting is such fun to read about. I couldn't help but wish that I could stay at the charming Hearts Bend Inn. I wanted desperately to see Cami take over and just manage it herself.
My heart went out to Ben, who found himself in a really hard spot. Being forced to sell the inn, but wanting oh-so-badly to hang on to it, because of all his special memories there with his grandparents.
This story is one that will tug on your heart strings, and give you a longing to visit charming little, rustic inns.

"Funny thing about memories. You can't trust them. Can't use them to plug up your fears. Or make you do something you don't want to do."

Hearts Bend, TN is always a wonderful place to return to. In this charming story of finding your place in the world, Ben and Cami return to Hearts Bend on the brink of their dream careers to find that they each still hold hurt and bitterness from events in their past - Ben with God and Cami with her father. This is also a story of second chance romance though misunderstandings and unfortunate circumstances try to pull them apart. Ben is a dashing and capable hero and Cami is a lovely heroine. If you're looking for a sweet and fun contemporary romance, look no further. This story will delight you from the beginning to the end.

“If you don’t ask, He can’t answer.”

I enjoyed this sweet contemporary set around an Inn. Both main characters had to go back and face the past to be able to step into the future they wanted.

The story flowed well, and it was easy to root for the characters.

“Funny thing about memories,” Ray said. “You can’t trust them. Can’t use them to plug up your fears. Or make you do something you don’t want to do.”

The main characters were on a clear path with their careers, but our plans are not always God’s plan and it was great to be on this journey with them.

I loved this return to Hearts Bend and meeting Cami and Ben and learning about inn keeping and the hotel business.
Cami is a Nashville businesswoman who works for a property development firm, owned by her father. She's worked twice as hard as anyone there to prove herself. She spent time in her teens. at the Hearts Bend Inn with her mom. Cami comes back to Hearts Bend when she gets a tip that the inn may be going on the market soon. She's reunited with Ben, the original owners' grandson who is now the current owner. They explore the possibilities of romance.
This sweet story is perfect for fans Rachel Hauck's Hearts Bend books.

#BookReview : YOU’LL BE MINE by Mandy Boerma & Rachel Hauck

I am glad to be back in Hearts Bend, Tennessee. Just like this small town, the book cover is charming. I like it.

This story of second chances brought together two hard working people back to the place that held a lot of special memories. I enjoyed the serious and sweet moments between Cami and Ben as they reminisced their time spent at the inn. I liked how supportive Ben was to Cami. The barn dancing was fun. They have chemistry and a good sense of humor.

I wasn’t sure about Cami’s dad but I was glad he was given a chance to redeem himself. Faith and forgiveness were weaved in the story but nothing preachy. The pacing was good but I had to be patient while the MC’s had to figure out and decide things on their own. I am glad how things turned.

This book will leave the reader inspired as Ben and Cami discover the true meaning of legacy.

A contemporary romance filled with love, forgiveness, faith, and much more . . .

I thoroughly enjoyed this second book in the 'Hearts Bend Collection' published by Sunrise Publishing. The lead characters, Cami Jackson and Ben Carter, were friends as teens who are reunited when Cami bids on the inn Ben recently inherited after the death of his beloved grandmother.

Cami is a real estate developer who has moved her way up the ladder in her father's firm, Akron. She has many good memories of spending time with her family at the inn along with one life-changing trauma that occurred there. Her goal is to save the historic inn from being torn down so she can preserve it for the future and give families the same unforgettable experiences she had there as a child and young teen.

Though this is a fictional story, many of the relationship dynamics in this plot are very realistic. Misunderstandings between parents and their children, hurtful words spoken by adults and never explained to children, and emotional distancing during times of grief are some of the subjects the author touches upon in the book. I found the author's honest approach to difficult subjects to be refreshing and rewarding.

My favorite part of the plot was the personal and spiritual growth experienced by several of the characters who were of different ages and genders. Older Christians in the story mentored young or new Christians by sharing openly with them about their own faith journey and how God works through His love and forgiveness to answer prayer and lead His children to the blessings He has chosen for them.

I will look forward to reading more books by Author Mandy Boerma in the future.

This book is completely clean in language and content. I received a copy of this book from the publisher through JustRead Publicity Tours. All of my opinions and thoughts shared here are solely my own.

Hello @gactv......I've got a story that you should put on my tv screen next year. 💜

You'll Be Mine is such a sweet, charming, heartwarming story that romance and Hallmarky story fans will love. It has everything you're looking for - small town, second chance romance, sweet inn that needs some renovations, a reminder that God has big plans for us, and more.

Mandy Boerma gives readers likeable characters that are both charming and relatable. The flow of the book was perfect, and she built just the right amount of tension between Ben and Cami throughout the story to really grab my attention. I highly encourage readers to visit Hearts Bend. You can thank me later!

You'll Be Mine
by Mandy Boerma & Rachel Hauck
Book 2 in the Hearts Bend Collection
Rating: 4/5

It's always good to be back in Hearts Bend, Tennessee! I really enjoyed this story surrounding Hearts Bend Inn that captures small town charm and the lure of second chance romance. I highly recommend reading the other books in this series and setting but it's not necessary to appreciate this lovely story.

First, how cute is the cover! I love the design.
Second, I loved the setting around the Inn. Small towns have so much charm and character that makes the reader fall in love so easily.
Third, I really loved the main characters and their chemistry together. They were not perfect by any means which makes them incredibly relatable. Ben and Cami get a second chance at love despite all of the things keeping them apart.
Fourth, I always enjoy when the authors bring faith into their stories and speak of God's willingness to give us second chances.

Be transported back to Hearts Bend and fall in love again!

Highly recommend this sweet romance full of humor and second chances!

My thanks to the author and publisher for providing me with an ARC of the book. All opinions expressed here are entirely my own. No positive review was expected and no compensation received.

Delightful!

I love the stories by Rachel Hauck centered around the fictional town of Hearts Bend, Tennessee. You'll Be Mine by Mandy Boerma is a fantastic addition to Hearts Bend! When Ben has to return home to clean out and sell the Inn his grandparents ran, he encounters a lot of clutter, receipts, and weekly grocery flyers. "But if he could, Ben would happily talk to Granny about the price of milk, or anything she wanted, just to see her face again." This so reminded me of my Mom who passed away last year and all the things she saved. I could totally relate to his sentiments of wanting to see her face again.

Ben needs to decide if his grandparents dream is his dream or not. He works hard and has risen up in the ranks of an international hotel organization. He doesn't want to give that all up.

Cami Jackson used to visit his grandparents Inn with her mother. She was his first kiss. She lost her mother early on, and has risen up the ladder in her father's real estate company.

Both Cami and Ben seem to have lost sight of what is important in the race to the top of their careers. Along the way they learn to trust God again with their lives. What a delightful story of second chances, a perfect summer read!

I highly recommend You'll Be Mine by Mandy Boerma and Rachel Hauck. Thank you to Sunrise Publishing for allowing me to read an early copy. All opinions are my own.

It’s so good to be back in Hearts Bend! In this second entry to the series, You’ll Be Mine, author Mandy Boerma seamlessly picks up where Rachel Hauck left off in the first book, One Fine Day. I love how characters from One Fine Day make an appearance here and there in this book, too.
You’ll Be Mine centers around the Hearts Bend Inn, almost a town landmark. It’s been there about as long as anyone can remember, a welcoming place of rest, relaxation, and even refuge.
Ben Carter is back in town after inheriting the inn from his grandparents. He’s a higher up with a luxury hotel chain now, traveling the world opening up properties. He doesn’t have time to deal with this little country inn. But he’s torn…sell it to cover the debt left behind and ride off to continue to follow his own dreams, or stay to revive it and let the sweet memories of his past guide him?
Camellia “Cami” Jackson is an on-fire acquisitions manager in her father’s firm, a position won by determination and hard work, NOT nepotism, thankyouverymuch. She and her dad have a strange, business-like relationship. Cami is convinced he has blamed her for her mother’s death for the last 15 years. She strives for his approval in all she does, and always feels like she’s coming up short.
On a whim, Cami drives to the Hearts Bend Inn, the place where she and her mother spent many weekends…and the place where she had her first kiss 15 years ago…with Ben Carter.
As she and Ben reconnect, entwining business with pleasure, can they each figure out what the Lord’s callings on their lives REALLY are? Is it possible those callings might just be on the same path?
Come back to Hearts Bend, Tennessee, grab a sweet tea, and sit a spell. You’ll be glad you did!
I received a complimentary copy of this book, but my opinion is entirely my own.

All work and no play has made both Ben and Cami very dull indeed, but it takes the death of one very special woman to bring these two lovebirds back into one another’s lives, and to make them both realize that there is more to life than a job.

Ben is living the dream.  He’s very career driven, handling the accounts of some of the most luxurious hotels, but the death of Ben’s beloved grandmother brings him back to his family’s inn in small town Hearts Bend, Tennessee.  He’s being tugged in many directions, with many challenges being thrown at him, and he is faced with a dilemma.  Does he sell his family’s inn and continue with his current job or does he keep the inn and revive it to its original glory.

Cami also is career driven, but her motivations are different.  They both share some tough decisions, like fighting their feelings for one another, as well as their fight over the inn.  The tug of war they share keeps things interesting as the sparks fly.

There are some charming scenes in this book that had me grinning, while also wishing these moments could last longer.  This is also a slow burning romance, which is understandable given their situation, but once they share their first sweet kiss it is on!  Ben and Cami definitely have the sparks flying, their connection palpable, even if neither of them want to admit it at first.

That’s one thing I liked about this novel.  It’s a great reminder that connections, both in love and in life, are so important. Things are just things, and I think we all are guilty of putting more worth on what we acquire, and not enough worth on relationships.

I immensely enjoyed this sweet novel.  The flow is perfection, the writing kept me engaged, and I got lost in Hearts Bend, and all its charm.  Highly recommend!

Sometimes returning to the past opens a door to the future.

I loved this skillfully written story with enjoyable characters that have some hard choices to make and priorities to decide.

This is a story of two people on two very different paths in life who begin a journey that tugs them back and forth between what is and what could be.
Ben and Cami’s jobs and their feelings for each other couldn’t possibly work out together – they were not even in near parts of the world.
But God…..

This is a great addition to the Heart’s Bend collection!

Loved these bits of wisdom!

Ben’s grandaddy:

“ You can’t take I with you, but you can leave it behind.”

“Marriage is simple. All you have to do is serve the other and not be selfish.”

Ben’s daddy:

Real faith is trusting in God when we can’t see a way through”

3.5 stars rounded up. This is such a cute little small town second chance romance. The audio is only around 6 hours, so it's a speedy read, perfect for a weekend. It feels fairly similar to several other books I've read before or a hallmark movie or two with a sweet focus on finding faith again.
Cami, a property developer, finds out that the inn she and her mother used to stay in is up for sale so she travels to Hearts Bend, TN to take a look around and put in an offer. When she runs into Ben, her childhood crush, sparks fly even as their goals and plans don't seem to line up.

“Real faith kicks in when the going gets tough. When we can’t see what’s next. Real faith is trusting in God when we can’t see a way through.”
“It didn’t matter how many times they said they’d just enjoy the moment- he wanted the moments to last. Would he ever have more than a summer romance with her?”
When Cami hears the Hearts Bend Inn is for sale, she snatches up the chance to buy it. The inn represents both happy and difficult times for her family, but the memories with her mother seem to come alive there. Ben needs to go to Australia for his current job, that he has worked his whole life for. However, he needs to figure out what to do with the inn his grandparents left him first. Cami has been ordered to move for a possible promotion in her job that she doesn't love but that keeps her tied to her dad, whose love and approval she desperately desires. In this moment in time, while Cami and Ben are at Hearts Bend Inn, they find a friend in each other again, and the stirrings of a love they have been looking for. With both of them on their way to other places, will they find a way to be together, and a way to resolve their hurts from the past and hopes for the future?
This story was heart warming and charming. I enjoyed the characters and the way they grew. I was hooked into their stories and cared about them and their struggles. The writing made Heart’s Bend come alive. I loved the inn, and the way it represented care and community in the town. This was one I thoroughly enjoyed, and highly recommend!

You'll Be Mine is a grand debut from Mandy Boerma: compelling and professionally written. The Hearts Bend Novels are worthy additions to the fabulous series of Rachel Hauck. This launch weaves a complex family and career issues with self-identity, grief, and faith to reveal restoration in both the inn and key relationships with Cami and Ben, who are distanced yet not forgotten childhood best friends.

You’ll Be Mine is the second book in The Heart’s Bend series. This one is Mandy Boerma’s debut and co-written by Rachel Hauck.
The book was really sweet. I connected with the characters. Cami seemed like she could be a friend, and Ben seemed like a great guy all around. They quickly learn first loves don’t go away and unresolved feelings can pop up, but I found it refreshing there was no bad blood between them.
You’ll Be Mine is a great summer read.

I love the town of Heart’s Bend. If I could travel there, I’d have been there yesterday. I’m a sucker for small towns.

Ben’s family owns an inn where Cami’s family used to spend summers. They grew up together, and shared their first kiss together.

Ben has inherited the inn after the death of his grandparents, but he’s got his dream job traveling and helping to setup resorts all over the world. He’s looking to sell the inn.

Cami works for her father, acquiring businesses, and hears that the inn is possibly for sale. She’s interested. Trouble is, she hasn’t been to the inn since her mother died there many years ago.

When Ben and Cami see each other again, sparks fly and they discover there’s more history between them, and the inn, than they thought. Is there a future for both?

This story was incredibly sweet and inspiring. Tales of family and forgiveness remind us that nobody, and no family, is perfect. I also love a good second chance romance, and this one did not disappoint.

I received a complimentary digital copy from the publisher. A positive review was not required. All views and opinions are my own.
