Cade Norgenson knows the look of death and he's seen it more times than he can count. The look of death from someone willing to inflict on themselves is one he can't seem to get out of his mind. He sees that look in Cassidy Pechkin and he's not about to let her take her own life. She might hate him for it, but he's going to follow her to the ends of the earth to ensure her safety. Although Cassidy is now safe, it seems someone is driving veterans to commit suicide and Cade and the team will stop at nothing to bring it to an end.
Cassidy Pechkin can't fathom facing a future, when her past haunts her. Her behavior made her attacker more violent, more angry. It was her fault. All her fault. At least, that's what she believes. Cade Norgenson, however, doesn't buy that bs for a minute. When he ruins her perfect plan, she has to find a reason to go on and it just might be Cade himself.

This one started out rough, Cassidy still going through the aftermath of her attack and thought she only had one way to stop the pain. Luckily there were enough people around her to see the signs and put a stop to what she had planned and worked with her to get better.
While this was going on, they were across the country and stumbled into crazy and RP being who they were, they weren't about to let it alone. This took them to some crazy places and crazy findings as they were helping brothers in arms. They were able to put a stop to things and right wrongs, leaving things in a good place for everyone.
On a side note, I love how this one ended, with Bodi's dad and Miss Ruby. Whew...those 2 could be heaps of trouble in the best way!

Veterans
Mary Kennedy as always from day one made these books about important subjects that are a part of today's society and her love of the military no mater part you service was a brotherhood
RP is that 100% . Fighting for justice in the world, taking care of family.
Cade and Cassie's story was about an issue that I feel is sometimes overlooked.
Cassie was viciously attacked and felt her life was over, Cade saw the signs that the woman he loved was going to kill her self. But with Cade's love and the love of her family she realized she was loved no matter what. Then the story takes a turn for another RP adventure.

Another one down!!
Author Mary Kennedy knows how to keep you invested! The RP team just keeps growing and it is amazing to be part of their world. Love the fact that this author addresses real life issues and not some fantasy world you can only dream of!! Thank you Mrs. Kennedy!!

Cassidy and Cade
Guilt can make you feel like there is no future when that guilt was caused by an event that caused much pain. Cade with his history of finding out about his mother made him the perfect man to make Cassidy know she is loved especially by him.

I don't know how she does it!!
These books are always the perfect blend of romance, action and humor. I want this series to go on forever. The characters feel like family. I swear I'm invested in their outcomes. You won't regret this purchase.

LOVED IT!
I can't say enough when it comes to Ms Kennedy's storytelling! She is such a talented author, very poignant, she is current with today's values, but also stays on point with yesterday's values! which we need more of these days😍 Loving her!

New family members have joined, and they are finding their way. Cade is a big man, and folks sometimes just stare. When he meets Cassidy Pechkin, he does the staring. Cassidy has a heavy weight on her shoulders, though. Abducted by her sister's nemesis, Cassidy is left in despair. Their story takes an unexpected turn when they arrive in Seattle and overhear a cop's story.
