Warriors of Milisaria #3

Ohber: Warriors of Milisaria

Rate this book
Are aliens a less evolved, unintelligent species? A greedy scientist will discover the falsity of that idea when he meets the Milisarian Knights.

Valeri Cavanaugh was excited to join her father's government funded experimental lab. She would finally be in the thick of important research to aid humans, or so she thought. What she found in the lab was perplexing and heartbreaking. The aliens soon became real to her, not the animals she had imagined. Ohber was a mighty Milisarian Knight, a warrior from another world. He was captured years ago by scientists who have done tortuous experiments on his body. Ohber felt betrayed by his fellow knights who had not come to his rescue. He trusted no one, until the beautiful and compassionate daughter of his captor gave him hope. Valeri was shocked to see the devastation the experiments were causing on the aliens. She found the other species to be quite intelligent and far surpassing humans in many ways. As she probed deeper into the hidden records of her own father, she found greed was behind his work instead of the altruistic motives he claimed. Will Valeri turn against her father and uphold alien rights? Can Ohber find love with one of his tormentors? Who will rescue the aliens? All books in this page-turning Sci-fi alien romance series can be read as standalones, there are no cliffhangers, and happily ever afters are guaranteed! Adults Only

Valeri was exited when she started working with her father doing secret alien experiments in the hopes of finding cures for human aliments. She was saddened by the truth, that instead of bugs and stuff, the experiments were being done on intelligent feeling people. As she helped with this she made friends with and fell in love with Ohber. Ohber had been injured and woke up as part of those being experimented on. He had been there for years and had lost faith until meeting Valeri. With the help of her brother Valeri got Ohber off the planet and back home to Milisaria so they could get him home to heal and help to return to Earth and free the other captive aliens.

Wow! Abduction, torturous experiments on Aliens, naïve Scientist, lends itself to a great book. Celeste has written us a picture with words so that we can feel empathy and sorrow for the aliens being held at the compound as well as disgust for the Scientists and their bankers who made this happen. Ohber and Valerie are such an unlikely pair in the beginning. I loved following their journey of discovery and romance. Such a great addition to the series. Well done!

A well-written story about a woman who thinks that she will make a difference working in her Father's lab only to find out she has never really known him. A story that kept me on the edge of my seat I had to know what was going to happen. This is Valeri Cavanaugh and Ohber was a mighty Milisarian Knight who is being experimented on without his permission and the other Aliens she finds that are being tortured. There is suspense, drama, and a love story that unfolds in this book. I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

I loved this story and it also made my heart ache read it and you will find out why. A scientist is doing terrible on aliens it wasn’t even for the good of earth and it’s citi no it was done for greed. The scientists Daughter was happy to be involved in the work until she actually saw what they were doing to the aliens and she was surprised by the intelligence that they showed. I love Celeste Raye’s books very descriptive storyline and I like that, great characters and I highly recommend this book to anyone that loves sexy aliens it’s definitely well worth the read.

First let me state, I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review.

This story was really different, but gr8. Valeri is a scientist and works in a government lab with her father, and she's super excited to be there. But she soon becomes angry & horrified by what's going on. They have captured Ohber, and are using him as a test subject. She thought the aliens were animals. Yeah, hello, pot calling kettle black. Any hoo, this story is awesome and I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up

This series is so good. I've read the first book, missed the second book but this one...there was just something so emotional about it that it kept me hooked. You had to see see what happened at every turn. I hope that with this book some of the characters get books of their own. It is worth the read let me tell you. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader's Copy

Celeste Raye has written another fantastic book. This is a great story that has been written well, the characters are great and their emotions are a roller coaster that you won't want to get off. The story has lots going on, experiments, hurt, anger, betrayal, acceptance and love. This is a great addition to this genre. Once started I did not want to put it down and read the whole book in one sitting!

Ohber

I really enjoyed this story. It has interesting and intriguing facts that stayed true to the stories of the previous books. The inclusion of the facts were true and on point. This is an interesting theory of what different species might look like. Not to give anything away, I thought the reaction of one of the aliens to our version of Godzilla was just as funny as he thought it was. A must read.

This book was awesome. It was also so sad it brought tears to my eyes. A secret lab on earth is doing horrible experiments on aliens that have been illegally captured. Ohber is one of the Milisaria Warriors being experimented on. Valeri's father is running the labs. This was so touching I loved this book and series.

What are scientific ethics and what happens if scientists go rogue? Set aside a day for this one.
I read an ARC and this voluntary review is my own opinion.

For .99 you also get Renall, Blade, Drake, Tredorphen, and Gandaderth. I didn't like the last 2 much and the other 4 felt like I missed books in between, but I still really enjoyed them.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this as an ARC

Valeri and Ohber are slapped with so many things and still find the strength to be true to who they are and what they mean to each other. I felt their pain and sense of betrayal from the ones they thought they could trust. Celeste Raye continues to take me on a journey to different worlds and different species that aren't really that different in the ways that count. I jump up and down with each new story she delivers.

Another brilliant MUST-READ addition to Celeste Raye’s remarkable series about the Warriors of Miliaria!
“Ohber” is another outstandingly epic story from Celeste Raye about her Warriors of Milisaria, but this one starts with a twist and kept this reader/reviewer on the edge of her seat, unable to put the novel away until she was finished. Unlike the other novels in this series about the Warriors of Milisaria, this story starts on Earth and stays there for most of the story. Again, the novel is about a human female who falls for one of the tall, dark and handsome Milisarian Warriors, Ohber. I don’t want to spoil a moment of the story, so what I can say is that this story kept this reader in a high state of suspense from the very first page. The action kept coming as the hope for the characters increased. In “Ohber” Raye does an excellent job of developing rich characters that move the story in the most emotional way toward its climax and beyond. Even the secondary characters jump off the page as a memorable, leaving this reader hoping that some may get a novel of their own sometime soon. While I was given an ARC copy of “Ohber” to prepare this honest voluntary review, I plan to purchase a copy to support Raye who is rapidly becoming one of my favorite authors with her creative plots. I highly recommend you purchase your copy of “Ohber” today! Happy pages. 😉
