These B format naked hardbacks feature fully redesigned covers, sprayed edges, and a stunning design of the Bridgerton house across all 8 spines! The first book in the series, The Duke and I, is hand-signed by Julia Quinn!
#1 New York Times bestselling author Julia Quinn loves to dispel the myth that smart women don't read (or write) romance, and and if you watch reruns of the game show The Weakest Link you might just catch her winning the $79,000 jackpot. She displayed a decided lack of knowledge about baseball, country music, and plush toys, but she is proud to say that she aced all things British and literary, answered all of her history and geography questions correctly, and knew that there was a Da Vinci long before there was a code.
A graduate of Harvard and Radcliffe Colleges, Ms. Quinn is one of only sixteen members of Romance Writers of America’s Hall of Fame. Her books have been translated into 32 languages, and she lives with her family in the Pacific Northwest.
The Bridgertons, her popular series of historical romance, is currently in production by Shondaland as a Netflix original series starring Julie Andrews, Phoebe Dynevor, and Rége-Jean Page.
It seemed to tiresome to go through and log each of these books (or maybe I’m just embarrassed to add 8 historical romance novels to my “read” list), so I’m just going to summarize my experience with the Bridgerton series here by saying these are exactly the kind of frothy, delicious “guilty pleasure” reads I wanted to spend my late spring days devouring. It’s decided: no shame in my game!

Reading the Bridgerton series from book one to eight feels like being invited into a warm, witty, slightly chaotic family you don’t want to leave. Julia Quinn’s strength lies in her ability to create distinct romantic pairings while keeping the Bridgerton siblings at the heart of the story.
Not every book is equal in strength, but that’s part of the charm. Some romances truly shine—The Viscount Who Loved Me and Romancing Mister Bridgerton stand out for their emotional depth, slow-burn tension, and satisfying character growth. Others lean more heavily into classic romance tropes and feel a bit dated at times, especially in how certain conflicts are handled.
What ties the series together is its warmth, humor, and sense of continuity. Watching the siblings grow, fall in love, and support one another adds an emotional payoff that works best when the books are read in order. The banter, family dynamics, and recurring appearances make the world feel alive and comforting.
While a few plots could have benefited from tighter pacing or deeper exploration of emotional consequences, the series remains immensely readable. It’s romantic without being overly heavy, emotional without tipping into melodrama, and perfect for when you want a comfort read with heart.
Overall, Bridgerton is a charming, binge-worthy historical romance series that delivers love stories, family bonds, and plenty of swoon. Not flawless, but undeniably enjoyable—and easy to revisit.

The Bridgerton series follows the eight Bridgerton siblings as they navigate love and relationships in Regency-era England. Each book focuses on a different sibling’s romantic journey, starting with The Duke and I, which centers on Daphne Bridgerton and Simon Basset. The series blends romance and family dynamics while addressing societal norms of the time.
These were such an easy read for me. I finished all eight books in about 2 months, between work and life. I loved how much you learned about each character, and got a bond with them all. I read all the books, and still asked for the hardcovers of them for Christmas, because I plan on re-reading them over the summer. I'm not a big romantic, but these books got me hooked.
