****Over 240,000+ words of slow-burn enemies-to-lovers tension, prophetic mystery, and bold magical adventure. This box set contains every book in the complete Lost Keepers series!****
Eighteen-year-old Everly Gordon has lived the simplest of lives in small-town Oklahoma. Her mother never told her she came from a line of immortal beings. She never once mentioned their family’s magical powers or ancient history.
Nope. Everly only learned about all of that after her mother was kidnapped in New York.
Thrust into the world of the Keepers—descendants of Atlantis, Olympus, and Inner Earth—Everly now has a whole new host of problems. Where is her mom? Who is her father? And why is a super hot immortal hunter chasing after her soul?
The answer may lie within an ancient stone tablet, if only Everly can survive long enough to find it. ★★★★★ Daughter of Sea and Sky is perfect for fans craving a more grown-up version of Percy Jackson. One-click now if you Binge the entire 900+ page series today!
This is an engaging book with a new twist on the usual story of a teenager with an ordinary life, finding out about her legacy of a family with magical powers.
Everly learns she is one of the 'Keepers' and is taken on an adventure. The characters were very well written. I was absorbed in this story and want to read more of this author.
This book is very YA. Be warned. I struggled through 40%, waiting for something to happen. But this is a DNF for me. No book should be this hard to keep reading.
By 40% I have: - no real storyline progression - no romance - no defined enemy - no interesting friendships - the main character is not very interesting and kind of dumb - Everly just got some powers and heard a prophecy. But it’s too late for me to care.

🔱🔱🔱🔱🔱 🔱 Review 🔱 🔱🔱🔱🔱🔱
I read the sample on Amazon & wanted to continue reading bc I liked the creativity & originality of the mythology connected to Everly's heritage. I love mysteries & this had a few.
I didn't fully connect to the characters, partly bc of a trope I don't enjoy. Sorry. 🥺
I hope the rest of my review makes up for that & helps the readers who'll love this story to discover it, read it & spread their excitement far & wide. 📣📣📣
All of the quests in different places, that went along with trying to put together & decode the stone tablet was challenging & exciting.
The climax of suspense & build up of trouble for Everly & everyone else, towards the end, was anticlimactic for me, & I don't know why. I didn't guess the way things happened, but, I admit, was surprised by some subplot reveals. I guess I just thought, the intricacies of the problem were so great, & the solution was too quick, & should've needed more expertise & effort. Sorry, again. 🥺
Overall, I was happy about how it ended, the familial discoveries & where people ended up & how. The Keepers & humans could truly be & feel free. 😃
🆓 from Amazon. Thank you to A.R. Colbert for this book!!!💖
‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ ❗️Slight spoiler of trope❗️ ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
I'm not fond of characters who are supposed to be all powerful. Whose powers are inconsistent & only seem to work in life or ☠️ situations. So, they can't be trained bc no one else has those powers. 🤦🏼♀️ Last time, promise. Sorry. 🥺

I thought it was Everly's twin in Rossel's painting & was wrong. ❌
Everly & Tate were soul mates. ✅
It was clear after awhile, there weren't any other real contenders, if she was gonna have a love interest it was Tate.
I was & am very happy about it. Even though he was torturing & trying to ☠️ her for much of the book. Tate's sexy & charming, in a I have to ☠️ you kind of way. They had chemistry. Even without his siren-like ability.
🚩🚩 in life are 💚💚 in books, movies & tv shows. 😉
Also, Everly kept describing the warm feeling she got from Tate, that she assumed was him tracking her as a target. At a certain point, whenever she mentioned it, I was forcefully saying "he's your soulmate". 😑
Everly had parents from 2 different races of Keepers. ✅
They assumed she was only Atlantean bc supposedly the deadly curse prohibits Keepers from mixing bloodlines. I didn't know how her parents managed it, but I knew they did. After & bc of the partial translation of the stone tablet & bc I thought "where did her other powers come from".
The story started out a little rushed, and the main character seemed to accept life-changing news with hardly a second thought. But the pace evened out, and the plot got more intriguing as the story went on. Good character development for the most part, although the final segment had a few under-developed character transformations (turning from bad to good, but no explanation of what triggered the change). The book structure itself was interesting, as the author wanted to present the story in a series of "episodes" like we'd see on a TV show. The end of each segment definitely fit that "fade to black" feeling, and the segments with prologues helped that too; but it was inconsistent whether there was a time gap before subsequent segments or just the continuation of a previous discussion.
Overall, though - interesting story, relatable characters, and enjoyable writing style. Recommended if you enjoy reading about characters who are suddenly thrust into a magical realm in the midst of everyday humanity.
3.5 stars is my first reaction to this book. I read the complete services on KU. The style of writing is inconsistent but, maybe it’s part of the growth in the author and story? I feel like the style of using prologues is a good idea if used to weave in the past events that lead to the current situations. These didn’t really do that. They could have utilized so much better in setting up the ending. But the growth of Everly as a character is good. I wish the other supporting characters continued to grow with her though. However overall, I enjoyed the story and the epilogue really tied up the new story lines in the last part of the series.
I enjoyed this, definitely clear that it’s inexperienced but the writing is fair and plot is interesting. Some parts of the dialogue (especially parents) are forced, there wasn’t any chemistry or flow to the romance which was a shame and there were quite a few parts that made me cringe. Overall it has potential and was worth the read, great friendships and characters, a very Percy Jackson feel to it
Definitely an interesting read and worth the time. It’s a unique storyline and I appreciated the tension that was created throughout the series. The only drawback I noticed was that the beginning felt a bit rushed. It really dumps a lot onto the reader right off the bat. But overall, definitely enjoyed it!
I loved this book/series. It was such a fun read. I enjoyed the history references, and enjoyed that the author kept everything moving along.I also liked the surprise of who was related to who. If you want a fun book, that keeps moving, these are the books for you. AWSOME SERIES
Loved the flow of this book. Great character bulding. Great settings throughout with beautiful descriptions. Kept me on the edge of my seat. Also, I love how it is not left open-ended, but there is such great world building that a follow-up book could be done if the author chose.
Very interesting, exciting and well written series !
I really enjoyed this whole storyline and world the author created ! Loved the characters, the ancient mythology that is somehow set in the present, mind boggling, but actually realistic !! Lol Highly recommend this series !!!
This is a fun easy high school level read. If you liked Percy Jackson I think you’ll enjoy this one too.
Several times I was sure the ending was going to flop because it felt like so much time was focused on the world building and there just wasn’t enough time left but I was pleasantly surprised
First time in my life I shelved a book without finishing it. The story was great…. I couldn’t stand the verbiage throughout the book. It was painful to read. Took a break from it, came back and 2 chapters back I said nope.
last thing i want to hear is how getting into an ivy is such an accomplishment. blech. and cue the main male lead with piercing eyes staring at her unwaveringly.....edward cullen anyone?
I thoroughly enjoyed this series. It had everything in it that I enjoy. Full of action, adventure, mystery and romance! It's a wonderful story from beginning to end!
