I’ve gained the magic of a dragon… and soon, it’ll end my existence.

My abilities have grown beyond imagining, and a dragon’s fire burns inside of me. Unfortunately, that same fire is burning me alive.

The only way to save the people I love is to unite my dragon’s power with its missing half, which exists inside my evil father. If we can defeat Paimon, the world will be safe… even if I die in the process of defeating him.

Shane refuses to give up hope. He believes there’s a way to stop my fiery demise, so we can find our forever. He wants to protect me, but no one can save me from the end I know is coming.

The only way to stop this is to let everything go up in smoke.

Great final book! Solid 4 stars, would have been a 5 star if it didn’t stress me the hell out the entire book panicking Raika was going to drop dead any second. Definitely will be reading the rest of this universes series as there is so many characters that are super intriguing! 🖤

The Night Rising is the epic conclusion to this gripping saga.
Shane and Raika their relationship is phenomenal. Reading them was as if I was feeling what they felt.
From the time I started the book until I finished it, I was anxious about Raika's fate. I suffered every chapter but it was worth it.
And that ending took me by surprise, however, after suffering so much, our protagonists deserve their happy ending.
With this book the world of Rite World expands, even more, adding new supernatural beings that I hope Juliana writes about because they are phenomenal.
Cain and Norah, I need to know what happened to them.
Kaz and Arielle need your stories. Enough of making that angel suffer.
This story was fantastic from start to finish and I can't wait to read about the next adventures in this amazing world.

I received a free reader's copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Good stuff like always. Both glad & sad that this excellent series is over.

Much of this final book was spent on fighting the protagonist's biggest enemy, & on finding a way to save Raika's life.

Fun, easy read; I finished over the course of 18 hours or so; with breaks for sleep & work.

Not for children, I'd give this one a hard "R".

The characters have been likable & believable.

I've said this in other reviews; but I find Ms Haygert's stories a wonderful escape from our scary, unpleasant world.

I recommend the entire series, in fact I haven't read a paranormal book from Ms Haygert that I didn't like!

OMG what an ending! Raika finds herself in trouble ( I know I know what else is new!!) but this time it could end in her death and of course Shane is not taking it at all well! Since book one things have so hard for this couple. There’s been fights and battles, relocations, daddy issues on both sides but despite all of their problems they always mange to find their way back to each other. Dragons, demons, vampires and shifters, this has been one hell of a ride but what a ride it has been and what a fantabulous way to bring it to an end. I love this world and I love the amazing characters old and new and I cannot wait to visit again.

What an epic conclusion of this series by a great author...

It's simply amazing, reading into the mind of Juliana & wanting to know what else does she has up her sleeve!!

In this final & last story which has seriously touched my heart, it's very whimsical, frightening & has serious wicked parts.

If you don't believe me go & buy these today... I only wish there was another story after this one just to fill in those thoughts of what if??

I also wish to give my thanks to Juliana & her team!!

Raika and Shane have always had problems being together, they finally get together and a death sentence hangs over their heads, he father is still out there and the pack is still decimated. The build up on this book killed me, and when things started rolling it was like I was chugging up a hill and low on oxygen. Several bloody battles and some spicy sexy scenes and we have an awesome closure to this great series

The Night Rising is the finale to the Night Wolves spin-off series. It's always hard to say good-bye to characters, and this book is no different. Throughout this series, we've watched as these characters have fought and struggled to get where they are and to protect those that they love. Well, buckle up as go and do this one more time. I'm sure that we'll see them again, because it's never good-bye, simply...until later.
Shane and Raika's story has been absolute chaos from the beginning, but it's nice to see that things are shifting in the positive for them. If you're interested in this series, make sure that you read from the beginning. If you try to jump into this series in the middle or end, you're going to be absolutely lost and confused. There is some steamy, and it is more pronounced in comparison to some of the author's previous works, but I would have liked more. LOL! I'm a "give me all the steamy" kinda girl.
This book engaged me to the end, so I'm rating it 4.5 out of 5 stars. I look forward to more in the future.

Finally!!! Raika and Shane get the ending they deserve! To say this has been a roller coaster ride would be the understatement of the year! I swear these two could never catch a break! This book was non-stop from beginning to end much like the entire series but I couldnt put it down! The sexy times are spicy AF and will have you fanning yourself. The storyline and characters are fantastic and overall this series is a must read! This author was brand new to me when I started this series and I cannot wait to read what she thinks up next.

it's ok I did the whole series in one shot. the female lead was whiny and stupid. doing stupid nieve things to get herself in danger. got sick of the same ideas over and over just different names. shane is getting Consumed by the shadow wolf and has to get it out of him. Hicha is getting consumed by the dragon magic and has to get it out of her. blah blah blah. hicha keeps getting killed or dying same idea on repeat gets boring. the way the Alpha deals with Sarge is just dumb.

very much like the shadow hunter series with characters and ideas only not done as well as shadow hunters was.

Night Rising
Finally! Everything falls into place for the team! They had some hard-won battles and several scares that make you breathless. Training always pays off; you must use a muscle to make it work when you want it to. That Fire Wolf was no joke! It did kind of bite the big one that she had to be on the verge of death for all this to work out. The other group finding the Dragon eggs was a stroke of pure luck that saved her life. I loved this series and look forward to many more.

she’s dying?!?!

Nope. This can’t be how it ends. Dragon powers can’t end Raika and leave Shane and the others without her. The author wouldn’t be so cruel, would she?

Guess you’ll have to read and find out! ;)

Highly recommend!

Looking into other stories from this author now. I completely devoured these 4 books in a matter of days. Didn’t hurt that I was suffering from mild insomnia because of stitches. lol seriously loved this series and was so sad that it ended.

An emotional rollercoaster that wrapped up perfectly, Raika and Shane's love story, couldn’t asked for a better finale! 🥰
Must read series for all fans of fated mates, with a strong heroine, a hot as hell overprotective alpha male, an amazing team of supernaturals, found family and, of course, a guaranteed HEA! 😍❤️

Juliana has really outdone herself with this final edition to what has been an emotionally, gripping, and intense series. With increased steam and emotion, it's hard to say goodbye to characters that we have read grow and evolve with the situations constantly thrown at them. Shane and Raika belonged together and no matter what happens, they always find a way back to each other. I am truly sad to say goodbye to incredible people so will be going back and reading from book one again.
Thank you for the ARC copy

Good end to the series

I was hoping for an epilogue though with Shane and Raika having babies. I guess we may see that in a crossover series since they are all from the same world. Quick enjoyable read!

I really like the story itself but at about 60% of the way through I just skipped ahead to the epilogue. I couldn’t do it anymore….
