C'est Amusant!

As someone who considers herself a trivia nerd and enjoyed taking French in both high school and college, this book is right up my alley. What a delightful idea to combine “fun facts” with learning a language. In the PDF ARC copy I received, the French and English versions are side-by-side. Each fact only has a couple of sentences, so it's easy to flick your eye back and forth between the two languages. I thoroughly enjoyed refreshing my French and learning a few cool pieces of trivia as well. The book is divided into chapters by topic, starting with airplanes and aviation and including other topics like history, art, and food. Some chapters, too, have just random facts, not really tied together by a theme other than, say, “Funny” or “Interesting.” If you are currently learning French and are beyond the very rudimentary first stages—or if you are someone who liked learning French in the past and have some memory of it—you will probably enjoy this delightful language-learning book as much as I did.

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

An awesome book for learners of French. A collection of facts that are interesting and fun to read and learn. The texts are written in two columns: one in French and the other in English. I liked the language facts.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Very interesting material and I would say that the spoken audio, I didn't have access to the text, is intermediate +. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and will listen to it again.
