Two vampires. Fated to be together. Will the Paranormal Council bring them together or get in the way of their bond?
Garic Romano jumped at the chance to join the Paranormal Council. They needed enforcers, and he was ready for a change. He loves his family, but he’s always been closest to his older brother, and when that led to Montana, Garic was ready to jump in with both feet. Little did he know, his life was about to change in ways he wasn’t expecting.
Luc Dupont has spent decades doing what he could to right the wrongs his birth coven has inflicted on others. When he finds himself in the center of the newly formed Paranormal Council, the last thing he expected was to scent his beloved. His fated mate. But would someone like Garic want him? He’s done some questionably ethical things in his lifetime, and Garic is an enforcer. Being associated with Luc could jeopardize his position with the council.
Together, Garic and Luc learn to rely on one another, as well as their large council family. But will being part of Master Ambrosius’s coven draw unwanted attention from those that should be kept in the past, or will it prove to provide the ultimate protection to the new couple?
Garic is Book Four in the Paranormal Council Enforcers series. Each book in this series will focus on a different couple, but these books are not standalones and should be read in order as there is an ongoing backstory that won’t be resolved quickly. This is a fated mate story in an MPreg world, and there will be babies in this story. You should expect all the normal shenanigans, lots of biting, and remember that sometimes even fated mates need a little help.
Taylor had been having a hit set so far with this series, to the point of me feeling bad about the fact that you have to go through the bad series to get to the good ones here. And while I liked Luc and Garic, the story was missing drive. Don't get me wrong, this one wasn't bad, and it is definitely leaps and bounds better than anything honey creek, timber Valley, warlocks of Amherst and some of the beloved gem books. It was just... missing a push. With the secondary plot of Orson resolved in the last book, this one didn't have anything for curiosity to be peaked. No secondary plot to drive conflict to an otherwise near perfect relationship. It was driven by the relationships, which were either resolved easily or not dramatized enough. I think making Luc's parents a bigger plot line could have worked great. Or the addition of a new issue for the council. Oh well, maybe the next one will be back to better. I'm feeling a lot more confident in Taylor's skill at the moment
We meet Luc in the previous book as cousin to Laurent and of course Garic has been in the background as an enforcer. Poor sweet Luc has a lot of self worth issues from not just his time with his coven but the from the terrible treatment from his parents as well. Garic is a sweet and attentive mate, determined to show Luc he is worth all the love in the world and that the trust put in him by the members of the council isn't misplaced. They are a lovely couple, and after a heavier start to this series it is lovely to have a lighter offering amidst it. Garic’s family is so much fun and it’s lovely to see them again as we first met them in Matteo’s story. I always happily and highly anticipate a Taylor Rylan new release and this was just what I wanted. The ending was perfect. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Another good book. I don't know why but i'm totally obsessing over this serie and I can't stop (not complaining either) Luc deserved his HEA even thought he didn't think so. I loved him and he was very sweet. Garic was very protective (as expected from alphas). This book was a little bit slower and the other three but I didn't mind it
Garic is the fourth book in the paranormal council series. These stories should be read in order due to the ongoing story line. We’ve met Garic before in Matteo’s Whirlwind, he’s Matteo’s brother and they look so much alike that they could be twins. Luc had also been working to help with finding the missing paranormal. I was so happy that Luc was getting a story! I was a little unsure of Garic though. But he showed me! Garic was a total sweetheart! He looked over Luc and catered to his every need. This story felt a little different than the previous in the series. It seemed to be more focused on Garic and Luc. I adore Garic’s family, and babies!! Well written with pacing that sucked me right into the story.
Garic by Taylor Rylan is the 4th book in her Paranormal Council Enforcers Series. I would recommend that you read the previous books in the series first because of reoccurring characters and a continuing plot line. This is the story of Garic and Luc. Garic is a vampire and an Enforcer for the Paranormal Council. Luc is also a vampire and has helped out others who were caught up in trouble caused when his Coven Master was doing evil things. Because of this he thought others would not think he was worthy as his Coven had a bad reputation, even though he wasn’t a part of it. He is also Laurent’s cousin who is part of the Council. He is visiting him when he scents his Beloved who turns out to be Garic. They claim each other within hours of meeting and the rest of the book is about them learning about each other and watching their relationship grow. It has its ups and downs as Luc finds a job with Master Ambrosius, the created vampire, and Garic continues his as an Enforcer, they meet each other’s families, and they learn how to live and love together. And, of course, a baby is also thrown into the mix. I have enjoyed all of the books in Ms. Rylan’s paranormal universe. It is very unique and I haven’t read stories like these before. The characters are interesting and have humor as well as angst and the side characters that we have met in her other books also add to what they are going through. The story line isn’t as strong in this one but it is still there as the Council is trying to unite all of the different paranormal groups as well as root out those that are causing problems, mostly kidnapping and selling others. It is always fun to watch how all the different kind of paranormals interact with each other, especially those on the Council and their Enforcers. There is also a pesky wind that is surrounding omegas when they are alone and I am dying to find out what it is! I highly recommend this book and am looking forward to reading more in the series.
Absolutely nothing happened in this book lol. It was a nice, fluffy romp through a whirlwind romance/mating with two vampires. Garic and Luc were adorable together and by all accounts were the Perfect Couple; no fights, no near disasters, no kidnapping, not even any pregnancy complications. It was literally TOO perfect. The overarching plot line was all but stalled out during this book. Any expeditions the enforcers were sent on were fade-to-black moments. The only hint of conflict in this was from Luc's parents and the introduction of his brother Knox. That whole situation was just weird. There was no resolution and now they're basically living down the street? I was hoping for maybe more of a fight? Some explanation beyond the repeated one? Maybe some input from the younger siblings? I don't know, I just think there was so much potential there that was wasted. Also, the over-explaining everything was especially noticable in this book, probably because nothing of note happened to distract me from it, but we really don't need a play-by-play as both characters follow each other around their own house. But overall, I liked this book. I thought I was going to stop reading this series by now, but now I can't stop. I'd at least like to see Ben and Eli's HEA, along with wherever Oscar went and Knox.

This is a paranormal romance with mpreg, the four book in this series that should be read in order but the 5th or 6th interconnected series by this author, that is hard to put the books in exactly chronological order but it’s all enjoyable! Garic is Mattemeo’s brother (from the Beloved series) and he longs to find his beloved who turns out to be Luc from several of the book in this series! I was sooooo happy that Luc was getting his HEA but reading this book made me feel like I had forgotten so much from many of the other series.
When I first started reading way back at the first series, I was new to mpreg and the idea of fated mates, insta-love so I feel like I would enjoy it all so much more this time around! All that verbiage to say that I loved this book, it was just what I needed, even with the problems going around this couple! If you are new to this author or mpreg, give it a chance, the writing has only gotten better!!
Garic and Luc were such sweeties. Luc had had such a rough time - he was genuinely a good person but had been treated badly by a lot of people and taken a great deal of responsibility for bad things that other people did. I thought Garic was a good math for him and I was glad to see how well they worked together. As usual we got lots of cameos from all the other characters in the series. I have to admit I do feel bad for a certain character and I feel maybe Justin was a bit harsh/unfair but I’m hoping we’ll see more in the next books on that front. This one felt like a bit of a break from the overall series plot. We still get things going on in the background but it felt more focussed on Garic and Luc and their friends/family - I quite liked that as it meant we got to really catch up with everybody. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next and hopefully seeing some certain someone’s truly get their comeuppance.
I can see so many ways this can develop the series plot
Luc and Garic fit well together. I kept expecting some big drama related to the Council to rear up and cause friction between them, but this book was relatively free of adventure related drama. We did get an example of a completely paranoid vampire father who let his obsession for his mate destroy his family though.
I wonder if Henri will feature any further in this series, and is this indicative of some kind of mental health issue that can occur with fated pairings? What if his case isn’t unique and a persistent threat to a mate can cause this to happen? Would there be someone unsavory who could take advantage of it? What if a drug were developed to cause this very reaction in paranormal communities to deliberately destroy them?
. . . Stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟 Hot: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 É uma leitura F(. . .), desculpe pela palavra, eu amei 🖤. . . Amei! Boa Leitura 😘
This part of the series is over. However, we are still left with many questions about this world. What is the mysterious thing that lives on the mountain? There is so much we don’t know about it. We know it does not want to cause harm at this point, but that is about it. I loved Luc and Garic in this book. Luc had so many doubts about his past when he did everything he could to survive. At the same time, it took him forever to realize that he was helping those in need. The fates helped him find his Beloved when the time was right. Luc and Garic have a found family that is better than the one they were born into. That is the thing I loved the most about this series. It doesn’t matter where you came from; it's those around you that you choose to make your family. I really can’t wait for more.
What a wonderful story! This Paranormal Enforcer’s book about Garlic and Luc has all the feels you want, fated mates, insta-love, found family and a baby. I really liked how this book brought together both siblings by birth and others to form such a strong and supportive family. I love seeing characters from previous stories and get a peek at where they are in their lives. The over reaching arc of this story and the world building are second to none. I highly recommend not only this book but the whole Universe of Destined Paranormals series. Every book leaves you wanting more!
You weren't looking for your beloved, but he found you anyway!
Welcome back to the world of the Paranormal Council. It is filled with the Created ones... the first of their kind... vampire, dragon, warlock, wolf...all Paranormal's. I love it here! My old friends greeted me with open arms. This book focuses on personal lives, instead of Council problems. It is so very detailed, you can easily visualize everything. Come. Join Garic and Luc as they deal with love, family angst, mpreg, and found/ chosen family. HEA is assured. You are simply gonna love this book! I can't wait for the next one.
I really liked the first couple of books but I've been q little disappointed with where the series is going. My favorite is definitely the second one but the first was good too. The third one had some slow parts but I couldn't even finish this one. There's no story just the same baby stuff, and it feels repetitive of the first two without any of the action or development.
I felt sorry for the way everyone treated Everett. He didn't make any obvious come-ons but people get angry and abusive against him, exclude him, based on his feelings. To the point that he has to write a letter of apology for his feelings. How toxic. This writer should do better.
I absolutely loved this latest book in the Paranormal Council Enforcers series!!! Luc and Garic were so super sweet and so cute to watch them fall in love and get to know each other better. I loved seeing Garic show Luc how truly special and important he truly is. We get to catch up with old friends and see how they are doing with their mates and their families. I really enjoyed that. I loved this story so much and I can't wait to read the next book this talented author comes out with next. Well done!!
Although the book starts off with the execution of Orson, there is very little conflict in this book. And there's very little about the missing shifters. Rylan offers us a sweet love story loosely set against the Council home base. The mating has little of the angst that Atticus and Brice's story offered. Garic and Luc recognize each other as mates and accept each other. What follows is a sweet romance.
I'm so invested in this series, I'm not sure what I'll do when it's done. Until then, I'm all in! Garic and Luc had odds against them, but the community works hard to minimize the damage of their pasts. In this saga, true love prevails. Be aware, there are a lot of characters from previous books... the reader is well-advised to start at the beginning with the Honey Creek Den series. You will NOT regret it!
Garic is a fun addition to the Enforcers series! Not only were the two main protagonists a delight to get to know better, but we get a wonderful update on the lives of Matteo and Justin, Ambrose and Emmerich, and a sweet cameo from Eli. You definitely need to read this series in order, but every installment is such a delight that the time catching up is well spent. I cannot wait for the next book in this M/M supernatural series!
Garic and Luc are a great couple. This book was a bit calmer than some others as the focus was more on our couple and less on the council’s work. At first I worried the story would be slow but it wasn’t…there was plenty of plot to keep things moving but the main focus was on Garic, Luc, and their relationship. Just the way I like it, although there was one plot line involving Luc’s parents that was left hanging..maybe if Knox gets a book it will be addressed then?
Luc is absolutely the sweetest vampire that you will encounter but he has self-worth issues that were compounded with his time at that coven. Garic is an enforcer and is the perfect mate to show Luc he is worth so much more. There is so many times that you will want to hug Luc. Looking forward to the next in the series!
Oh my these books are beyond amazing! I love this series & all the ones tied into it so much! Luc & Garic are beyond sweet and so perfect together! I can’t wait got Everett’s book, he’s been waiting for quite awhile and I know his book is gonna be so good! Taylor puts her all into her books and it’s shows in every single page! Can’t wait to read more! 😀❤️😀❤️
No spoilers of any kind included. So all I’m going to say about this book Garic is that I thought it was pure awesomeness! So yep I am most definitely going to recommend this book, actually I recommend the series because it’s so amazing.
I always love these stories! Garic and Luc are so sweet together. I'm glad Luc and Knox were able to have their own family. Their parents are shit. And I'd love to give a piece of my mind.
This story is absolutely amazing. I am in love with Garic and Luc! I love how Garic helps Luc with showing how much he is worth. They are just so perfect together. I am so happy with their book. Such a sweet and cute story. I can't wait for the next one!
Love this series! The twist and turns they take. This was a cute story of Garic and Luc beloved ones. You see many of your favorites pop in and learn more about each one. How they all become a family.
I’m not sure what was going on with this book, but I didn’t relate to the characters like I did in the other books. Luc and Garic were an OK couple I just wasn’t feeling them. Hopefully the next book will be better.
I loved this story along with how Garic and Luc found each other and following their instant connection. Following them as they start their family and realise things have to change. I liked that this story focused on them and their family without any danger though there are some surprises.
This is the fourth Book in :The Council Enforcer's Book Series
This was another great read from this Author I'm really enjoying all the new couples and their love story . Looking forward to the next book in this series .
Absolutely loved it and couldn’t put it down. I love this series and the previous ones by the author. They’re well written and in depth. HEA ending too. Highly recommended
