In the tradition of Clifford's Happy Easter, an adorable lift-a-flap book especially for the Easter holiday is packed with hidden surprises and tells the story of Clifford's first Easter with Emily Elizabeth.
Norman Bridwell was an American author and cartoonist, best-known for the Clifford the Big Red Dog series of children's books. Bridwell attended John Herron School of Art in Indianapolis, Indiana. He lived on Martha's Vineyard, MA, where he wrote an average of two books a year.
Even cute puppy Clifford napping in an egg carton can't make this lift-the-flap book interesting. The weirdest thing is this one page that makes it look like Bridwell might have been implying a little bit of potty humor:
Clifford is always a big hit in this household and our girls loved this book, especially because it's a lift-the-flap book. Our girls enjoy reading books in the Clifford series and we will certainly look for more books like this at our local library.
This book is interesting. It has vivid pictures. The book is very subtle and great for kids. The pop up pictures are very inviting. This is a book that i would buy for my children. The book talks about how emily spends easter with her dog. This book has a very good theme
Cute and adorable. Have always loved Clifford and thought be good take stroll down memory lane. Had as a kid bit recently found again in my stack books.
Great art work and cute animals too. Clifford always fun.
A cute little book but those flaps won't last long. They open in different directions which throws off the kiddo looking for consistency and she ends up ripping at them.
Clifford is huge figure in many peoples lives literally. The show has been around for ages it was a great show and so are the books. This book specifies Clifford's first Easter. "It's interesting and can be considered the term many people use as "cute."It shows when Clifford was a pup and how he grew up and was a positive affect on many peoples lives. This is a small book easy to keep in a back pack. This interactive book is good for children from ages 3-7 yrs.
I felt some nostalgia when I picked up this Clifford book. I read these while growing up. The story is cute enough, but nothing exciting. What really catches the readers' attention is the flaps. Of course it didn't really engage me now that I'm older, but I would definitely recommend it for young children. They love books like this!
Clifford books have been a favorite of mine since I was little. There is just something about the books that catch everybody attention. Kids will love this book. This book has pop-ups which makes it all the more fun to read. It would be a good book to read aloud. The story is cute and you cant help but love Clifford.
