An excellent read. This book reinforced many principles and practices that are in place in our home ... and provided support for these (i.e. helpful when children are not thrilled with doing chores, etc.).

A short book full of good ideas. We have all heard that half of all marriages end in divorce. Two thirds of all second marriages, especially those with stepchildren, also end in divorce.

Lots of good advice.

Focuses on rules and being the head of the household. Would be good for permissive parents and single parents after divorce. Not much of a focus on helping remarried parents build a new household together although there is some of that. Good for parents who need to enforce more structure.
