Sofie Carter hated him. His smile. His cockiness. His swagger. Everything about him made her want to choose violence.
Jaxon Keith should come with a warning label stamped on his forehead.
His arrogance made her see red, but apparently, women loved him and what he had to offer.
But Sofie wanted nothing to do with him.
She only had to be around him because his twin was married to her best friend. They even shared godparent duties of the couple's new baby, so there was no way she could avoid him.
Sofie could never be with a man like him. At least that's what she told herself.
She also told herself she wouldn't think about the night they shared.
Okay, the few nights where she indulged in what Jaxon offered.
USA TODAY Bestselling author Peyton Banks is the alter ego of a city girl who is a romantic at heart. Her mornings consist of coffee and daydreaming up the next steamy romance book ideas. She loves spinning romantic tales of hot alpha males and the women they love. She currently resides with her husband and children in Cleveland, Ohio.
I couldn’t put this book down. Just the thought of Sofie and Jaxon and fortitude it took for both of them to let go. I wouldn’t have imagined anything different for them.
The chemistry from those Keith Boys, and ANYONE that comes into their mere sight. Will have you wanting more.
I almost wanted there to be another Brother, cousin, single silver fox uncle. Just to round out the series.

Maybe it’s a case of it s me and not the book but I felt like there was no plot. No romance. They writing was king of lazy. We’re supposed to believe that after 2 weeks of sex only these two people are now in love. There’s no build up of a relationship. We don’t see them together making a relationship. I’m glad this book was short. I skimmed 80% of it. Couldn’t even get into the sex scenes. More attention was paid to that than the actual romance.
Also…spoiler . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Sofie is a nurse so why was she shocked that she was pregnant after having consistent unprotected sex for 2 weeks. Like come on!
I was more interested in reading this book than the previous book, Mr. Hotness, and was going to skip it and just read this but I'm glad I didn't. The story does overlap with the first book a bit so I do recommend reading them in order. This was just as steamy and also cute as the first book. I do wish Jaxson and Sofie had more scenes of their bickering so we can see them go at it and then eventually fall for each other.
I read Mr. Hottness about a month or so ago and I was SO ready to read this one. I loved London and Alana in that book. It was filled with sexy goodness, but also romance. Well, Peyton Banks turns up the heat in Mr. Arrogant. Yes, London was naughty, however Jaxon quickly realizes what he wants and is laser-focused on getting it. No spoilers, but Bora Bora was HOT!!! I don't think I could have resisted that man if I tried. (Though, I don't think I'd be trying all that hard.) I really identified with Sofie and her goal to protect her heart; especially from a player like Jaxon. It seems like every woman wants him and he's not really shown committment tendencies. I do enjoy their banter and how he becomes possessive of her (in a good way), which clearly means he's got potential. It was a good, sexy read. I love the chase. I love the banter. I love the ... spice. I recommend this book, and this series.

If you've read Mr. Hotness then you already know that the hero (London) of that story has a brother (Jaxon) and the heroine (Alana) has a best friend (Sofie).
They are Godparents to London and Alana's baby Chance. There's just one problem they do not get along. Jaxon is still in his love 'em and leave 'em phase and Sofie can't stand the sight of him.
When they tag along on a vacation with London and Alana they decide to explore their anger between the sheets. It goes like goes and what was intended to stay on the island is not what one of them wants.
Will they discover that the anger was simply foreplay and the foreshadowing of their destiny?
I fell in love with book 1, and was eager for book 2! Jax and Sofie pulled at my heartstrings as they navigate their journey towards love. Sofie was beautiful, confident, and loyal to no end. She loved her life , but knew she wanted more after watching her friend fall in love. Jax was the ultimate playboy and never lacked a warm body beside him. He was sexy, charming, and dedicated to those he loves. Sofie and Jax have a serious love/hate relationship and a vacation together only ignites an itch that can’t be scratched just once. Their story is funny, sweet, spicy, and testament about what can happen when you take a chance at love. I could not get enough of them and It’s a definite reread in my future.
I was so excited to read the second book in this series! Sofia and Jaxon’s story did not disappoint. These two had been spending most of their time as enemies but there really is a thin line between live and hate. I loved this couple’s journey of coming together and the ups and downs they faced. In the end the road to their HEA was just how it was supposed to full of steam, sassiness, strong personalities, and explosive chemistry and all in the right time. I would highly recommend this book. It was a fantastic read!
Chase doesn’t know whether to kiss Eden or strangle her. She’s feisty, sassy and beautiful, and doesn’t stand for any of his attitude. Eden finds his attitude annoying and doesn’t hesitate to put him in his place, despite her attraction to him. The passion between them soon boils over and they are unable to keep their hands off each other. Will they be able to make their relationship work despite their differences?
This is a quick enemies to lovers enjoyable read. Sparks fly between Jaxon and Sophie when ever they are around each other. Their back and forth barbs are hilarious. The attraction is felt by both and both are in denial....until they go on vacation. Read how Jaxon and Sophie navigate secret rendezvous and keeping London and Alana in the dark. A misunderstanding, hurt feelings an unexpected surprise. In the end a HEA.
Both books were well written and I suggest you read Mr. Hottie first before Mr Arrogant. It's amazing how both these two women were able to tame the womanizing Keith brothers but it shows how amazing genuine love is.
The only downfall is the pricing of both these books...$4.99 each is definitely overpriced. Offer a lower price for a few days then raise $$. So not worth the current price. Other than this small problem its worth reading 💕
A fun and entertaining second book in this series The Keith Brothers. In this story we are introduced to Jaxon and Sofia. This is their journey to their happily ever after. The story flows well, the charters are likeable and have great chemistry. I am looking forward to read more in this series.
Mr. Arrogant: A BWWM Romance (Book 2 of The Keith Brothers) by Peyton Banks. The author does a great job keeping you vested in the story and outcome. This book is filled with plenty of drama, personal conflicts, passion, and chemistry. Sofie and Jaxon make a great couple and I enjoyed their story. Another interracial romance. The second Keith Brother falls for the best friend off his brother's wife. This one wasn't as good as the first and was shorter. This was mostly about the sex between the two. Read both the same day.
Save your time and only read the first, if it's still free. This one not worth buying. HEA.
This was a great read. I loved the characters, especially Sofie. The only complaint is that I would have liked a more in-depth look at their future in the epilogue. Thank you for sharing your story as I thoroughly enjoyed the read.
Loved this one! Sofie is an entertaining heroine. She’s super tough, but I love that she has her reasons for being so and pretty much sticks to her guns. At the same time, she isn’t so caustic that she can’t see other’s perspectives. Dare I say that Jaxon is hotter than his brother? HONEY! I could feel his hotness oozing from the pages and his chemistry with Sofie….straight fire. This book has just the right amount of humor, feelings and sexy scenes to make it one of Peyton’s best!
