He was handpicked to take over Frank’s role. The honour was it had been Frank doing the choosing. He hadn’t expected to find a family to love and care for. With all the drama from James, Jaime and Frankie finished; he thought things were finally settling down. Not so, because a ball of fury is heading his way, and he’s unprepared for what she’ll bring with her.
She’s furious and ready to nail his feet to the floor and beat with him a bat. That’s how angry she is. He’s a snake in the grass, a slacker, a man who runs from his responsibilities. Not anymore. She doesn’t care he works for the legendary James Washington or that he has his own reputation. Her entire life had just been uprooted, and it was his fault!
He finds himself reeling as a tiny woman takes him to task and rips him a new one. She’s no-nonsense and blunt to a fault, but he sees the special in her. The loyalty, love and honour she has in spades, and she’s crossed his path, and he does what any Washington man does and claims her. Except she has her own ideas about claiming, and they come at the end of that damnable baseball bat she’s so fond of!
I was born in 1974 in Dagenham, Essex, England! I moved out of Essex in 2002 and moved to South Yorkshire and then settled in Derbyshire in 2005.
I've got four sons, one daughter and seven cats! I'm still working out who is more trouble, the children or cats! My children and I love cooking together, movie nights and music.
I've written stories ever since I was thirteen but I never had the courage to publish one before. But we all know the famous song... This is me, from the Greatest Showman. It gave me courage to Indie publish and be myself! Never under estimate the power of a good song!
My favourite holiday is Halloween and I'm known as the crazy lady in my street when Halloween hits! My love of Halloween even carries over to Christmas when, alongside my big "normal" tree I also have a Jack Skeleton tree!
My favourite movies vary, Star Wars, LOTR, Pirate Movie, Amazing Mr Blunden, Phantom of the Opera, Memphis Belle., finally Olympus/London has Fallen. Music depends on my mood, country, pop, classical, even bagpipes!
Rage MC is the first series I've Indie published and lots more Rage MC books will follow. I have several other series' I'm working on as well. So you will be getting a lot more Elizabeth N Harris Books! If you have any questions please check out my website and use the contact page to contact me in a variety of ways!
This one started right were the last book left off, so you knew it would be filled with lots of drama and sure enough it was. It's hard to believe the premise with Adam, Rina, Walker and Ava, but the more everyone finds out about what happened, you can see how it happened and feel bad for these 4 and how they all were cheated out of something precious. I liked how as the proof came out that minds were changed and a new start was had. I loved how Rina and Walker got to see the crazy clan that Adam and all the Washingtons were a part of, also loved how Adam realized how important Dane was and made room for him.
It's always easy to hate the bad guy, but man...I hated his bad guy with a passion! They got theirs in the end so that was good.
The last bit of this book was an interesting choice, loved the sweeping catch up years...decades later, intriguing choice of who the narrator was. And as sad as the last scene was, it was also the right choice for the characters.
It took me a while but I finally warmed up to Rina. Once we were told what was said to Ava I understood her hatred towards Adam. I really felt for Adam as he no clue about any of it. Walker is a great kid and funny. Someone definitely has to take that bat away from her....lol....poor Tonio!! Again, grateful that all the familiar characters were present.
The Epilogue threw me for a loop and also made me cry....thanks Elizabeth! Well, I'm sorry to reach the end of this series but am grateful that there's more to come for Rage MC and Hellfire MC and also the Hawthorne men and ladies. I emailed Elizabeth specifically about the Hawthorne men and their crazy sisters and nieces and she reassured that books were coming about them also.
Adam has always been in the background, and this was his chance to shine. And shine he did. From stepping up for a son he'd no knowledge of to claiming the woman who reached out to his heart. Although she keeps pushing him away. And someone take that bat away!
Adam needed his own book. He has carried James for several now, being his support when Frank died, silently watching to ensure James stayed safe.
Rina is strong, determined and stubborn and although she hates Adam, she'll do anything to ensure her nephew survives. She's a protective mama bear and a sexy kitten all rolled into one and I tell you something... Adam didn't see her coming!
I love all of Elizabeth N. Harris books and re-read them a lot. I also have high expectations because I’ve fallen in love with the characters and the world she's created. It’s 7:20 am and I just finished Adam. I have tears of joy in my eyes from the end. It was perfection. Everyone needs to read Adam. If you haven't read the others in Washingtons- read them first because you'll fall in love with all of them. Adam has an intriguing romance with suspense which makes you unable to put the book down.
Adam finds out he has a son that needs his help to live. Walker has his aunt that doesn’t trust or want Adam in his son’s life except for medical help but when the three of them are in danger from someone close to Adam that has lied. Lives are threatened, kidnapping and evil are all around but strength, a baseball bat and love prevail. Elizabeth N Harris had me in tears of joy and heartache throughout this story. The ending will have your heart and soul.
Well all I can say is what a way to finish.. I mean I didn't appreciate the tears or having to wait till I got home to finish it because blubbering in public is embarrassing but im glad you tacked on the last bit. A bit cheesy but I loved it.. As to Adams book I really enjoyed it, love a well off women who knows how to control it and is also a badass.. Funny and well written storyline... Can't wait for another Hellfire book next...
Such an awesome end to a brilliant series. Twist turns along the way. The ending was perfect. It brought real emotion and tears to my eyes a tried testament to the amazing writer Beth is. I feel in love with the Washington family. Each and everyone. This I Will always be one of my favourite series that have truly touched my heart. Thank you Elizabeth for bringing them to life. I devoured them and couldn't put them down. Who needs sleep anyway when a books this good, only read g what happens next matters x
Your Washington series is great. I truly live the series. My only disappointment is in the last book it talked about Frank being Army. Everything else is him being Marine. Army and Marine are so different. Your books are so goid. I am a born and y navy brat, Army sister, Marine sister and mom. Andy many vets friends, aunt and cousin. Please keep references straight it confuses my heart. I think the mishap happened when Jamie and Frankie were in limelight thank you for great stories
This book hit all the right marks for me as a avid reader and book lover. Harris has a way with the style and art of writing that I feel surpasses everything I've read in this genre in the past and currently. Read all the books in this series, you will appreciate the recommendation, no lie! Wow, Harris what a ending, talk about tears of joy and happiness. This series has it all book lovers, get to reading stat.
I love this author, I have read Rage MC, Prospects and Washington. She writes about Rapid City, and Spearfish and Sturgis just to name a few of the best places in South Dakota to live. The hardships, struggles each heroine has to endure a happy ending for most everyone in theses series. You will love the ending for James Washington as and his beloved Kate.Happy reading.
That was crazy about what happened. I don't quite understand about the so called infection that got his son son sick and killed his mom. Adam is a good man but he did have regrets about his past in his family. That's understandable especially how he was raised. He found a good woman, more like she would beat it out of him lol I can't believe the ending cause that's a tear jerker. But it doesn't say about James's bro. But it was funny in a few spots.
Adam's book was a phenomenal read!! I couldn't put Adam's book down from the time I picked it up, and when I was finished, it left me wanting more!! This book had so many surprises with twists and turns that I never saw coming. There is so much I want to say about Adam's book, but I won't because I don't want to give any spoilers away. All I will say is, read this book. You won't be sorry.
First off it started off very well and I was really excited for this one and then I was really disappointed in some sort of way because it had so much promised. This book could have been one of the best books you have ever done. I waited for2months for this book to come out and I was disappointed with it
I'm at a loss for words, I'm still emotional from this one. The strength of family in all of these books is amazing! It draws me in and keeps me on the edge of my seat while my emotions are like a rollercoaster the entire time, the best books are like this! The journey of redemption and forgiving ones self was fantastic. Just read it!
Adam finds himself in the middle of a battle. The other side have claims of something that he was under the belief was impossible. Known forces do the unthinkable and Adam's past is in question. Some well loved characters show up and James and Kate have the baby!
OMG, this book, this beautiful story and this wonderful family. I try never to give spoilers but I will say I cried so much through the last chapter. It's a beautiful story of Adam, Marina and Walker facing struggles on their way to a happily ever after. Don't pass this series by it is well worth the time.
I've liked most books by this author but I loved, loved, loved this one. I've cried all the way thru the second half of the book - and the 1st half really set the book up for the 2nd half. I hope Dane gets a book. His choice to be a father to his girlfriends/friends nephew was outstanding and deserves that family's devotion.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
OK so this books ending had me absolutely floored and crying my heart out goof tears but still this author is absolute brilliant in her writing and the worlds she has created I would Recommend you read all her series and in order to get the best picture of this utterly amazing world 🌎 ❤️
This is the last book in this series. It is a wonderful story of family and love of family. Family that you would give your life for. Adam and Rina’s story had their ups and downs but proved that love can conquer anything. The epilogue is heart felt and wonderful.
So much happens in this book as its the conclusion of the series. I cried a few times when what happened to Ava is discussed. Adam learns a truth that is almost equal parts evil and vile but the outcomes bring love and peace. I had an an ugly reading the epilogue.
I regret that I didn't write a review on the previous books. I was so involved in Rage then Hellfire I went right in to the Washington books. It was a joy to keep reading. I cried tears of happiness at the end of this book. Family and love is what it comes down to. No matter what you started with, its the relationships you allow in that matter as a whole.
Read Hellfire, Rage, Washington and want more. Engrossing series. Not since The Last Riders have I been so engaged in a series. Once you start you won't want to stop. Please write about the other MCs especially Inglorious. The ending to the Washingtons could not have been better.
I liked this story was continuous and kept me engaged. Adam got a surprise he wasn't expecting. Rina was an expert with a bat and Walker was intelligent for his age and add Dane in the mix was different. When Adam's brother comes after them things get hectic. But it was the epilogue that about done me in and yes I cried, it hit real close to home.
I enjoyed this book but what happened to the other MC President they were fighting against? I mean it wasn't in any of the MC books. I thought maybe it would be in this one. I did like the ending of this book. It was great how the author inserted herself in the end. Different than others I've read.
Well ladies buckle up for a bumpy ride I challenge you not to laugh or cry at this book. Whilst it bring to a close this series it will leave you wanting to start it all over again. The epilogue is in its own dimension and I’m just in love with the format. Enjoy ladies I loved it
I have no words to express how wonderful and brilliant this book was. The last chapter of this book was everything good and beautiful. Tears flowed from eyes with beauty of those pages. Read this book. Thank you Elizabeth for giving that beauty to us.
OMG this book was awesome I had no idea Adam was the last of this series. I loved the whole series but the end of this book ripped my heart out and stomped on it!! It was happy but sad also
Omg!!! Adam is definitely one of my favorites…I loved how you incorporated yourself in there that was so sweet!!! And the end when James and Frank met again!!!! This was one of the best I ever read thank you!!!!
