The first time I met pro football’s hottest quarterback, we ended up horizontal just before the most embarrassing moment of my life.

The second time, I unleashed all my pent-up anger on him.

The third time was when the owner of the Vegas Aces introduced him as the newly traded player I’d be coaching for the next year. No…I’m not a football coach. I’ve been hired as his full-time behavior coach.

Now I have to live with my one-night stand, his fiancée, and their newborn while I attempt to help him make better decisions. On my first day, I’m already having moral dilemmas as I watch him chug orange Gatorade in the kitchen wearing nothing more than a towel. If I truly guide him to better choices, I might just find myself out of a job.

And this is one job I can’t afford to lose.

TRADED is the first book in the VEGAS ACES: THE QUARTERBACK series. This series must be read in order.

I don’t know what it is about Lisa’s writing but it just sucks me in so completely every time!

I have been waiting for Jack’s books so impatiently, I’m kidding, I did good but now that I read book one, the wait between books is gonna suck.

The way these two met was funny and their chemistry, dear lord. I can’t wait to see how they deal with it when they’re living together. That’s gonna be fun for me but hard for them.

I already have a way softer spot for Jack then I did in Luke’s books. But knowing everything that happened, what he went through and how he’s changed already. And let’s not even mention how cute of a father he is. I can’t wait to see more father/son moments. I need them.

I already feel so bad for the situation he is and how hard it will probably be to get out of it. I’m curious to see how that’s gonna go. I know Lisa will make things harder and more complicated before she starts solving Jack’s problems.

I need the next book(s) stat! Lisa sure knows how to keep us hanging and begging for more! I can’t wait for more of these characters.

Jack was introduced in the Vegas Aces as Luke’s brother. I wasn’t crazy about Jack back them. This book is helping me to understand Jack a little more. Sometimes I was staring to like him and other times he was the same old jerk. I felt bad for Kate on how she met Jack and what Jack did to her. How ironic was it that the owner of the Aces asks Kate to babysit Jack and make sure Jack doesn’t make any bad decisions. Their relationship is up and down. I have no idea why Jack asked Michelle to be his wife other than their baby boy. Michelle is one mean and nasty woman. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I strongly encourage you to read the book. I voluntarily wrote a review.

Season 2 -- The Quarterback

These are the next five books in a continuation of the Vegas Series of five short serials. The Quarterback is Jack Dalton, older brother of Luke Dalton, featured in Season 1 of the Vegas Series. Yeah, it's a bit confusing, but you get the point I'm sure. I read these five books all in one day easily.

Once again, five books all but the last one ending on a cliffy. Jack Dalton and Kate Harmon are featured as the main characters this season. Luke and Ellie play a part in this one as well -- just as back-up. I actually enjoyed these five better. Much deeper plotting and more excitement and angst. And a hot quarterback that needed a little comeuppance and Kate handled it just fine. This season is fast-paced with more action on and off the playing field. There's also an ex and a baby boy in the mix that put an extra spin on the game.

Another five satisfying short and quick reads that kept me happy and entertained for several days reading both seasons back to back. Now I'm ready to tackle some crime thrillers that will keep my mind working overtime to solve.

Traded (Vegas Aces: The Quarterback #1) by Lisa Suzanne is part one of a contemporary sports romance serial and ends with a cliffhanger. It’s told entirely from the first person perspective of the female main character, Kate Harmon.

Kate can’t believe her luck when she finds herself engaging in a one-night stand with pro-quarterback Jack Dalton. She’s a huge fan who has lusted after him through her TV screen, and she never expected to have a chance. But things quickly go sour when Kate finds out that Jack has a pregnant girlfriend. What a creep!

Four months have passed, and Kate is looking for a new job when an unusual opportunity falls into her lap. The owner of the Vegas Aces wants to hire her as the full-time behavioral coach for their newest team member. Although the job is for only ten months, it pays enough to finance her dreams, so she accepts the position. The last person Kate expects to see when she reports for work is Jack Dalton - and he’s not happy about being assigned a babysitter. Does the universe hate her or something? Jack looks sexier than ever, but he has a baby and a fiancee now. Maybe it won’t be so bad... Maybe he won’t remember her... Maybe his jerk tendencies will diminish the attraction she feels whenever he's near... What could possibly go wrong?

I really enjoyed the first installment of Kate and Jack’s story. In much of the previous Vegas Aces books, Jack was a villain, but glimpses of the good guy hidden inside are beginning to show. This book contained a lot of humor, and it was nice to see a softer side of Jack from time to time. As expected in a serial, there are loose ends and unresolved questions. I’m curious to find out about Jack's father’s will, why he’s engaged to Michelle when he clearly can’t stand her, and if these two things are related. The cliffhanger at the end is rather mild - meaning it wasn’t the gasp-inducing, OMG moment that I was anticipating. Even so, this installment is tons of fun, and I can’t wait to read what comes next.

We met Jack in the last series, his brother was the main character, and now it is Jack’s turn. This will be a series of five books and will end on cliffhangers, and you will want more!

Jack has been traded from Denver to Vegas, but still acting like a petulant child, future father-in-law and team owner hires him a babysitter.

It gets complicated quickly as the babysitter, Kate, has a history with Jack Dalton. As this story is told from her point of view, we only know her side and some of his. She is shadowing his antics as his “personal Assistant.” Unfortunately, his behavior is not making her job easy. The way this installment ends has me glad we get the next book, the same day!

Thank you to the author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

“If there’s anything I know about Jack Dalton, it’s that he’s a champion. He always wins.”

I liked Luke and Ellie in the first series of books in the Vegas Aces series, but I LOVE Jack and Kate. When Kate is offered a job as an “adult” babysitter for one of the newest members of the Aces football team, little does she know that she will be expected to “watch” Jack Dalton, her one-night-stand gone bad from Halloween.

“Yeah, I hate him. But I’m also inappropriately attracted to him. It’s not just an attraction. It’s visceral. It’s imprinted on my soul.”

Kate is spunky and fiery and so relatable. She hates Jack Dalton after what happened between them at Halloween and she’s not happy about having to move in with him, but she soon begins to see another side to him. Has she misjudged him? Watching Ellie trying to navigate the strange situation of Jack and his fiancé and the crazy situation she finds herself in is both funny and heartbreaking.

At first, I disliked Jack Dalton in Luke and Ellie’s books and then I started to see a little bit of a heart in him by the end of their story. Now I’m completely on board the Jack Dalton train. Sure, he’s still cocky, arrogant, and condescending, but in Traded, we start to see another side to Jack. I can’t wait to discover what his secrets he’s been hiding.

Oh, How I Love Football!!

Jack Dalton is one seriously hot commodity. He has been traded to play for the Aces but he’s having a little trouble keeping his name out of the tabloids. His coach thinks that Jack needs a little assistance on making his choices for the time being and has hired Kate, an ex-nanny, to be just the person to take on this job.

Who wouldn’t want this job with hanging around all of these football players and his baby son…and his fiancé Michelle? Yep, that’s right old Jack has a fiancé and she happens to be the owner, Calvin’s daughter who is a piece of work. Kate knows there has to be more to the idea of Jack marrying a woman he doesn’t love for the sake of a family for his son.

The sexual tension in this book is beyond itself and the tension between this two is something you can even taste. I am so hooked on this series already I cannot wait to read Traded to see what Jack and Kate got up to after her friend’s bachelorette party in Vegas because Calvin is blowing up Kate’s phone after waking up in bed with Jack there in that very same bed!

A one night stand with a hot football player at a Halloween costume party turns into so much more when Kate finds herself across a conference table from Jack Dalton. Making sure his actions do not get out of hand and more or less babysitting the pro baller becomes Kates job. A job which she takes seriously, except for the lingering feelings about their one night come into play. Can Kate keep Jack out of the tabloids? Or will she be left outside his inner loop and struggle to understand his lifestyle? With wonderful characters the reader loved to hate in the original series and a storyline that had me laughing out loud this was the perfect beginning to a new series that is destined for greatness. And that ending will only leave you wanting more!!

This book is 1 of 5 and will end with a cliffhanger. I wasn't sure this book was going to be for me because Jack was introduced in the previous series this author wrote and he was a bit of a jerk and even though this author redeemed him in some ways during those books, I still was on the fence. To be honest, I still am unsure if I actually like Jack Dalton but I will say that I like the heroine Kate A LOT and since the book is narrated in her pov only, that helps me like this book better. It is not necessary to read the previous series to understand what is going on with this one but it gives a fuller picture of the family dynamics and more insider info about Jack's fiance Michelle.

Jack Dalton has been traded to the Vegas Aces, the team his brother Luke Dalton played for and Jack is less than thrilled about it. Ever since his dad died a few months ago, he hasn't been the same and his bad behavior off the field has been making headlines. His coach decides he needs a 24/7 babysitter to keep Jack in line and hires a woman named Kate who came very recommended from a good friend of his. Kate accepts this position before knowing who she is going to watching because the pay is outstanding and will help her to open her own business down the line. Once she finds out she will be babysitting Jack Dalton, her world becomes quite bleak as these two have a prior history. About 4 months ago, they had a Halloween one night stand that ended with Kate no longer being Jack Dalton's number one fan and now she has to be around the cocky, maddening quarterback for next 46 weeks, not that she's counting.

It's an enemies to lovers story and those are my favorite. I am very interested in reading this series and while cliffhangers are not my jam usually, Lisa Suzanne has a knack for making me so invested in her books that I get over the waiting because I need to know.

I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

Jack Dalton is the Brother to Hot Luke who plays for the Vegas Aces ( he has his own set of books). Jack got traded to the Vegas Aces at the end of Lukes story. To better understad the relationship of the brothers read Luke's story first. Jack is the typical player who is also cocky and arrogant and out of control and master of poor decisions. Now enter Kate who goes to a club on Halloween and meets Jack has her most memorable one-night stand with him untill he throws her out because his pregant girlfriend is on her way to the room. Kate does not think Jack is so great after that especially months after her night with Jack she runs into him at a coffee shop . Kate who loves her job as a live-in nanny, loses her job when the family moves accross the counrty. Kate moves in with her bestfriend while helping her plan her friends wedding and looking for a job. Out of the blue she gets a call for a job offer she can't believe her luck and it is with the Vegas Aces. Kate is she is offered a position as a"behavioral coach" babysitter to bad boy Jack Dalton. Kate will have to live with him and be his shadow which is where she can use her degree in as a psychologist help him if he will let her. Suprise when Jack sees who the new behavorial coach is. But for half a million Kate moves in with a unhappy Jack and his baby mama who he is saddled with because of thier engagement which he doesn't want, he only asked her because he thinks that's the right thing to do even though he doesn't love Michelle nor does she love Jack. Michelle only loves herself, Oh, she is the daughter of the Vegas Aces Owner. Kate has to try to keep Jack from getting in trouble while battling thier chemistry along with her own feelings for him. It does end in a cliffhanger. s Traded (Vegas Aces: The Quarterback #1) is the first book of Jacks story by Lisa Suzanne, so keep reading to find out what happens. Great job Lisa

Traded is the first book in Lisa Suzanne's Vegas Aces: The Quarterback series and is the start of Kate and Jack's complicated story.
Kate needs a job and somewhere to live fast so when a less than normal job opportunity arises, that will give her a place to live and to be able to save up enough money to open her own company, she jumps at the chance.
Kate is now a behavioural coach to one of the Vegas Aces for the next ten months.
But imagine her surprise when she finds out her new client is the guy she spent the hottest night of her life with a few months ago, and now she's going to be living with not only him but his fiancé and their baby boy too.
How will Kate handle being around Jack and his family 24/7 and seeing another side of him, the way he is with his son and his family and friends. Especially as the sizzling chemistry between them has not extinguished but has added more fuel to the fire the more time they spend together.
"Jack is becoming more and more human every day to me, and that can only spell trouble where my heart is concerned."
Can Kate find her way through her new normal and somehow stop herself from getting too close to Jack or will things get even more complicated than they are already are?
Read Traded now to find out!
I really enjoyed Traded, it was very addicting and Jack has started to change my opinion of him, but Hot Luke and Sexy Ellie will always be my favourite and I loved how we got to revisit with them!
I received an arc of Traded and I am voluntarily leaving my review.

Lisa did it again. She sucked me into a story- got me all worked up, craving what's to come and then just ends the book. And as much as I am dying to have the next book in the series in my hands right now- I also kind of loving this limbo she has me hanging in.

If it's not already obvious- Traded is the first book in a five book series by Lisa Suzanne and these books (with the obvious exception of the last book) will all end in the tortuous cliffhanger. So you will need to read each book in order to understand the story. And as much as I love dual POV books when it comes to romance- Traded is told solely from the POV of Kate. Lisa did this with the original Vegas Aces series too, so as much as I wish we knew what Jack Dalton was thinking, it really adds to the brilliance of the storytelling that we as the readers only know all the complicated thoughts and feelings that Kate is experiencing.

Traded starts off with Kate attending a star studded Halloween party where she accidentally on purpose falls in front of Jack Dalton- the quarterback of her dreams. After an intensely hot encounter in a private room at the club Kate is left feeling foolish, used and cursing Jack Dalton's name. Fast forward a few months and Kate who has been looking for a new job is contacted to be the equivalent of a babysitter for an unknown football player on the Vegas Aces. In desperate need for a job, she accepts only to find that her new charge is none other than Jack Dalton. Now she gets to live with her one night stand, his fiance and their newborn.

The chemistry pumping between Jack and Kate is off the charts. Even when Jack is being a complete jerk there is something simmering under the surface. Jack's character comes off as rude and egotistical but slowly and in the most tiny glimpses do we start to see the other side of Jack through Kate's eyes. Things are not always as they seem and there is something bigger at play here than what we originally think. Jack and Michelle's relationship is sketchy and confusing leaving a lot of questions to be answered- especially with how many of Jack's inner circle continue to tell Kate how Jack is not in love with Michelle. I can't wait to see how this story continues in the next book!

If you have not read the first books of the Vegas Aces series (Luke Dalton's story), I highly recommend you do that before starting this next round. This is the beginning of Jack Dalton's story - we meet Jack as part of Luck's adventures and he is not likeable in the least. When I first learned that Jack would be next in this series, I could not imagine how Lisa Suzanne would be able to tell Jack's story in a way that would have the ready feeling anything but disgust for this character - he was that unlikeable. BUT - I should not have questioned it because she has done it again....she weaves a tale that draws you in and allows you a peak "behind the curtain" into Jack's life and you start to like him, feel for him, want better for him....

Enter Kate - after an extremely memorable first encounter with Jack - months later she is hired by the football team to becomes Jack's "babysitter" - he has made less-than-ideal choices in the past and they want to keep him and his behavior out of both the headlines and keep him out of handcuffs for the foreseeable future. She moves in with him, his fiancée and his new baby boy and is basically his shadow 24/7.

They begin to spend a lot of time together and though neither will admit it out loud - their attraction for each other is growing. Jack is in a difficult position with his current situation (the fiancée, the son, the babysitter, the soon-to-be-father-in-law) and you start to see how this effects his decisions and not-so--great behavior. You will actually start to like Jack and want him to find his HEA - much like Luke and Ellie did.... but, as all things, it's not that easy and this story ends with an INCREDIBLE cliffhanger that has you less than patiently waiting for the next installment of his story.

Lisa is known for her great rock star stories, football stories and she has mastered the cliffhanger as well!!

A new follow up series is headed our way as the story continues with the Vegas Aces football team in the spotlight again! Traded is the first book in Hot Luke's older, bossier, arrogant brother's story and I'm not quite sure what to think about Jack right now. I didn't like him before and I wonder if I will now but the gang's all here, so let the fun commence!!

Kate, aka, Kia, well... I already love this funny, beautiful lady and her spunky, sassy personality. Jack better watch his step around her, she isn't going to bow down to him like all the other woman in the world!! The night they met seemed like a dream come true for Kate but quickly turned into the most embarrassing night of her life, thanks to you know who!

Fate is laughing her butt off as Kate accepts a job she desperately needs, with Jack as her stubborn, uncooperative and very HOT client. Michelle, that awful ##### and Jack's fiancee, is still around, plotting and skulking, as the evil thorn in both their sides. Kate must stay professional and keep Jack on the straight and narrow to achieve her own dreams. They're all living together in the same big house- sexy daddy, along with his adorable little baby boy...what could possibly go wrong???

Well, that's only one of the burning questions left in my mind at the end of this book!! There are quite a few more but I know that Lisa Suzanne will take me on another wild ride, this time with the possibly sweeter than he seems quarterback and his lovely 'assistant' as the stars of her story. More is better, so let's hurry on to the next book please!! Will LS make me fall in love with someone as cocky as Jack...well, you know she somehow will!!!

Traded. Vegas Aces: The Quarterback book 1

First met Jack Dalton as Luke’s brother in Vegas Aces and what a jerk he was. So Jack is traded to his brother’s team but not really sure he’s happy about it. He ends up engaged to Michelle ( a piece of work) and father to JJ, his 4 month old son. His reputation is not altogether great so there’s a stipulation to his contract.
Kate is a psychologist but was working as a nanny and loving it till the family moved. She has been a fan for ages. So when her bestie wins tickets to a private Halloween masquerade party at a bar she’s excited to go and guess who shows up and who she hooks up with. Oh boy. After sleeping on her bestie’s couch for a month she gets a job offer as basically a babysitter that includes living in the house but it’s no baby that she’s watching, it’s Jack. She was given the job by the owner of the team for a lot of money to fix his reputation and keep him out of trouble. Jack hates this and of course doesn’t make Kate’s job easy. Slowly he lets up and they start getting along.
Kate has her bestie’s wedding coming up and forgot to ask for time off, enter a problem. So Jack goes with her to the bachelorette party and tells her he will be the babysitter for the night and to have fun. And fun she did until her phone blew up the next morning with missed calls all from her boss, the team owner. She doesn’t remember the night before, oh crap!

Thank you Lisa for leaving us on the edge with so many ideas running through my head. Lol. What a great start to a new series that only Lisa can do!

"I am so happy that there are more books in the Vegas Aces series but I must admit I wasn’t sure how I felt about the H receiving his own story. If you have read his brother Luke’s stories you would understand why.
But bit by bit he is slowly redeeming himself. There are still so many questions I will need answered and I am sure in time that will come in the subsequent books. This installment finished on a banger of a cliffhanger and I hope the fallout is not too bad for Kate.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book" ~Sharon

We met Jack in Luke and Ellie's story and I was super excited to get to know him better since he was a big jerk in the previous series. Kate is randomly hired to be Jack's behavior coach (aka babysitter) once he is traded to the Aces. What makes this story fun is that they previously hooked up and now it is all levels of awkward. I am enjoying the awkwardness and maybe Jack isn't the big douche he portrays. Only time will tell. ~Cindy

I am trying to decide how I feel about Jack. When I read Luke and Ellie’s story, he was definitely the villain at one point. He was starting to redeem himself at the end of their series and he even admits in this book that he wasn’t very nice at their wedding in Hawaii. Jack is still being a bit of a jackass in this book, but we definitely see him making progress. There are moments when he opens up to Kate and we can see that there is a good guy in there, just trying to get out. He’s also trying to do right by his baby mama and that is admirable. And I like that the Dalton family is finally being a family.

Kate is a good character. She has a dream and is trying really hard to reach it, even if it means taking a job “babysitting” a 33 year old man. She has a lot of conflicting feelings towards Jack, and it’s very understandable. He constantly gives off very different vibes around her. She tries to be professional, but I guess when you’ve slept with the guy and he’s hot as sin, it’s hard to keep up the facade that you are unaffected. And it doesn’t help that people like Tom, Jack’s agent, tell her things like “he’s different with you” or “he’s relaxed when you’re around”. Like, what the heck is she supposed to think?! How confusing for the poor girl. I liked that she told Tom “he’s engaged to another woman so all I am is his behaviour coach”. But I definitely don’t think she should have taken him to her friends bachelorette party!! Or she should have stayed sober like she was planning, not started drinking vodka straight up.

Michelle is back. As per my reviews for Luke’s books, I CANNOT STAND MICHELLE. She’s manipulative and clearly doesn’t even care about being a mother. She just wants to marry a football star. She’s an idiot. Let’s kick her to the curb, please and thank you.

I wish this book was dual POV. I’d really like to know what Jack is thinking during all this. He definitely gives off a jealous vibe when Kate is around other football players, and he clearly cannot stand Michelle. What exactly is going on in his mind?

Of course this book ends in a fantastic cliffhanger. What’s going to happen next?!!

Lisa Suzanne is back at it again. This is her second series about the Vegas Aces Pro Football team that she has written. I loved the first one, and now I am loving the second one.
Warning: This is Part 1, out of 5 parts, and it does end in a cliffhanger. You can curse all you want to, when it gets there, but it is ok. She does not leave you hanging for long. Part 2 will be out soon. This is Jack's story. We met Jack in the first series, but you do not have to have read it to fully enjoy this one. In that one, we did not like Jack very much, but maybe our impression of him will go up in this one, as we get to know him better. Jack is the new quarterback of the Vegas Aces, which is owned by his future father in law, Calvin. Kate has been hired by Calvin to babysit Jack and keep him from making bad decisions. The only problem is that Kate was one of his "bad" decisions that he made last Halloween. This provides an interesting storyline, that you will be looking for more. I am loving it, and I am definitely looking for more.

From the moment Jack and Kate first meet there is instant chemistry between and it is off the charts. Then, things took a turn for the worse and Kate was not on Team Jack. Now, she has to live with the man and “babysit” him. Something neither of them are excited about.

I loved Kate from the start. The woman has the patience of a saint at times for what she has to put up, especially when it comes to Jack. Jack, I go back and forth with him throughout this book. There are times where is a complete jerk and I want to knock some sense into him, but then there are times were a different side comes out and you can’t help but swoon a little.

I loved all the build up in this story between Jack and Kate and their relationship with each other. Of course, just as things start really picking up the book leaves you hanging. I am looking forward to see how their relationship with each other progresses and to see the growth of these two characters.

If you’re looking for a sports, workplace romance this is one to check out

5 stars! So it's no secret I love Lisa Suzanne's football series. Luke Dalton was amazing, and in that series I didn't have the most favorable opinion of Jack. But I have faith in Lisa so I was excited to dive in.

Boy, did she deliver. What a start to Jack's story and redemption journey.

Jack Dalton is stuck in life. His hero (his dad) passed away unexpectedly. He is saddled with an engagement he doesn't want to the mother of his child, because he thinks that's the right thing to do. Oh, and the mother of his child who he doesn't love and who doesn't love him is the daughter of Vegas Aces, the football team that just traded for him. It's another way for his soon to be father-in-law to have complete control over his life. His miserable and he's acting out because of it.

Enter Kate. His new "behavioral coach" aka a glorified babysitter to keep him out of the press and out of handcuffs, at least for the season. Should be an easy half million dollars for Kate, right? Well... it would be if her and Jack didn't have history.

It's clear Jack and Kate have feelings for each other but no way they can cross that line. Or... can they?

As always, Lisa leaves us with one heck of a cliffhanger that has me counting down the days for book two. What crazy situation did Jack and Kate get themselves in?

One-click this one when it comes out... you won't regret it! As always, YMMV.

I was really impatient to read Jack's story and I am not disappointed in the first book. Lisa Suzanne is an amazing writer, with every word she captures my heart and attention. The story starts with an unexpected hook-up, sparks fly between Jack and Kate, then soon comes reality and Jack's different obligations. A few months later Kate becomes Jack's live-in 'babysitter', to help him stay on the right path. As the days pass by, Kate realizes that Jack is more human, not so confident and strong as he is showing everyone, and he is struggling with a lot of things - mostly with his fiancée. The connection between Kate and Jack is starting to show, but both of them is trying to fight it. The book ends with a big cliffhanger, so we can try guessing what happened on the night of the bachelorette party.

Jack's story is one that I've been waiting for after what he did to Luke and Ellie. There's definitely something that had made him act the way he did and we're about to find out. But it's definitely not in this one. You can get a glimpse into his life but you need to read the next books to know why. In this one, he met Kate who's hired to babysit him basically. It's just an intro to their story and the setting of their story. But it definitely intrigued me into continuing to read their story. I'm just intrigued to know the real Jack.

There’s so much more to people than what meets the eye. Don’t judge a book by its cover. I’m sure we have ALL heard these expressions time and time again but never has it been more true than with quarterback Jack Dalton in the latest story of the Vegas Aces series, TRADED.

WOW. Book one starts off with a Halloween party to remember, with plenty of imagery, fun banter, and a taste of sexy, readers are left wanting resolution right off the bat! Jack Dalton is not who we believed him to be during Luke and Ellie’s story and Kate seems to be the only person he’s will to open up to. She’s smart, she’s young, she’s kind, and exactly his type. Kate throughout does her best to fight off their attraction being that he IS in a loveless engagement but finds it incredibly difficult. The cliffhanger at the end was killer!!!

I really like their language and how emotionally intelligent they both are. As a psychologist I’d hope that for Kate but it’s really nice to see Jack in this light. He clearly has his demons and acts out but lots of people do! I think they’re a really great pair, and I’m rooting for them to get together with the least amount of drama and fall out. With Jack’s fiancée and father-in-law being so closely tied to his career though I don’t foresee that being the case. I also like seeing Jack’s soft side. In the previous books he was really someone who readers weren’t meant to like and yet here I can’t get enough of him!

Overall amazing start to this series. It caught my attention right away similarly to Luke and Ellie’s story and that’s thanks to Ms. Lisa Suzanne’s phenomenal story telling! I can’t wait for TACKLED!

First book of a new series and Holy wow !!!
What a start to Jack and Katie's story !! Katie's Halloween hook up and a star football hottie Jack Dalton ends in disaster, months later their lives are thrown together again, but will it be another disaster?
Jack Dalton is someone you want to dislike, but truthfully you will secretly totally adore him and his ego !!! There is just something about that man that leaves you in a puddle!!
This author brings us a tale that will consume you and have you hooked. Katie definitely has her work cut out for her, when she has to "baby sit" Jack and fight her own feelings at the same time. Fun, laughs, and steamy!!! But make no mistake your heart will be so involved you just won't be prepared !!
This book does end in a cliff hanger, and as there are more books in the series I am sure we will have nail biting and gasps and screeching at the end of each book, but thank fully this author won't keep us waiting long between each book !! I am so thank full for this because I can't wait !!

I loved the dynamics of this couple, their combustable connection, the steam was rising by the minute, but most of all Jack !!! His life is anything but perfect, his complications are many, their path is not going to be easy and I already know my heart is going to be broken, and I am looking forward to each and every part of it!! I loved this book !!!!

Review of Traded (Vegas Aces: The Quarterback Book 1 of 5) by Lisa Suzanne

This is the first book in a new five book series. Ideally you need to read the Vegas Aces five book series first. As this introduces you to a lot of the characters in this book, plus they were a fantastic read so you don't want to miss them.

This series focuses on Jack, the brother of Luke from the first Vegas Aces series. Jack, an American football player has just been traded to the team The Vegas Aces, which his brother Luke also plays for. He is living in Vegas sharing his home with his new baby son and fiancee. Along comes Kate who has been hired as his behavioural coach to try and keep him on the straight and narrow. She is moved into the family home as its a 24/7 job! Only problem is they hooked up during a Halloween party and there is still chemistry between them.

I really enjoyed this opening book, the character are great and it was lovely to meet up with the characters from the first series as well. Really looking forward to seeing how the story pans out and can't wait for the next instalment.

After reading the Vegas Aces series, I despised Jack Dalton. In his brother Luke's books, he came across as a cocky and arrogant quarterback who thought he was too good for anyone. So imagine my surprise when author Lisa Suzanne announced that he would have his own series. I mean, how could I like him, much less cheer for him? Could he redeem himself after everything he did to Luke?

In Traded, we start to see glimpses of who he really is. Looks and behaviors can be deceiving. What if the Jack Dalton we met in Vegas Aces is a constructed persona based on what everyone expects him to be? One thing is for sure, I didn't see the storyline coming: as he is traded with the Vegas Aces, his future father-in-law and team owner assigned him a babysitter. Kate will be in charge of making sure the quarterback behaves and cleans up his act.

The funny thing is Kate and Jack had a one-night-stand at a club months before he was traded. So imagine both of their faces when they "officially" meet at the Aces facilities. Kate will have to live with him and be his shadow. The attraction is there but, given the high stakes, they will try to ignore it. After all, he is engaged to Michelle. She is annoying as ever.

In true Lisa Suzanne fashion, this book ends with a cliffhanger. And now that I'm starting to know Jack, I want to know how Kate and Jack's story evolves.

Jack Dalton, bad boy of the Vegas Aces series, gets his turn to tell his story.

At the end of that series, Jack got traded to the Vegas Aces – his brother’s team. Maybe things will work out now that Jack and Luke aren’t at each other’s throats but Jack has a reputation as a bad boy who likes to cause trouble. The coach knows what to do – get him a babysitter.

Kate loved her job as a live-in nanny but when the family she has been working for moves across the country she is out of a job. After moving in with her friend while she finds a new job, she is offered a position as a babysitter. The only problem is her “charge” isn’t a child but a man-child and also the most memorable one-night stand she ever had. Complications? You bet. Jack isn’t going to take it easy on the woman who has been hired to follow his every move.

Lisa Suzanne writes fantastic rockstar books and equally good sports books. Her stories have the right about of sexual tension to keep you a bit squirmy and a good amount of humor. Jack gives Kate, or Kia as he calls her, a run for her money as he tests her limits. Throw in his boss, with possibly a private agenda, and the mother of his son, and you have a bumpy ride.

The only bad thing about this book is that I have to wait for the next installment. Fantastic start to another series. Well done, Ms. Suzanne!

Let me first say, I was excited when I found out there was going to be another series, a part of the Vegas Aces series. I loved Luke and Ellie's story from the first series. I will admit that when I found out this was going to be about Jack, I wasn't sure hot to feel because if you read Luke's story, you know he was not the greatest person in the world. And we also still have to deal with Michelle??? Ugh ... but my mind was changed from just reading Traded. I loved it. I love that we're seeing glimpses of a different side of Jack that only Kate seems to bring out in him.

I fully recommend reading this. Yes, it does end on a cliffhanger and boy was it ever a cliffhanger. I CAN'T wait for the next book, as well the rest of this series because I feel this is going to be a roller coaster of emotions, more than Luke and Ellie's story (and I thought theirs's was a roller coaster). But all I can say is—Bring it on. I'm excited for the ride! I can already see myself falling in love with Jack and Kate.
