First Impressions Fury of Frustration was very different from the rest of the series. I really enjoyed the way this book was different from the other. She hasn't done an enemies to lovers trope in this series and I found it fascinating to see the setup of the story. Both characters have good motivations so I did have a fun time with the angst although it ended too quickly and yes that is me saying that lol
Summary So this story starts off with our hero, who is looking to buy the land that a infamous inn holds and he has his own reasons for wanting to get the property. Then we have the heroine, who has a history of being taken advantage of by the male members of her family and ex and has never really been valued for the work that she does and she can see GHOSTS!! When she inherits the property that have magic behind it, she starts to realize she has some special abilities and is learning what she is capable of. When danger hits the property, our characters will have to come together and discover a love they didn't expect to find.
What I Loved I absolutely adored the characters. They are both really strong in their own way and have such stubborn type of characterizations. haha But when they come together its so delightful. I enjoyed their banter and how they interact with one another. Even though at first they see each other as adversary's, they also hold a respect for each other and that is the TYPE of enemies to lovers that I love to see. The plotline was delicious and kept me on the edge of my seat.
What I Struggled With The evolvement from enemies to lovers was super sudden. I know these books aren't super long but still there needed to be better development because suddenly they were together and it didn't quite make much sense. I also wanted to see the growth with the heroine. There were all these changes within her and they were so sudden and didn't really make sense. This book with this plot needed so much more growth.
Narration The narration was really great on this! It will expounded on the personality of our characters so well and really brought our the angst and banter so well that entertained.
Overall View While I had a good time with this story, it definitely could have more room for improvement on it. I am curious to see how the series end!

Steam/Spice Explanations
Steamin' up the room -the sexual content is more explicit in the language and tone, heavier amount of sexual scenes.
Ms. Callahan has done it again! Another hot, action packed dragon shifter story that will captivate you and keep you glued to the page!
Kruger is a ruthless, hopeless shifter, intent on the belief that if his truth becomes known all he knows and loves will reject him.
Fergie has lived a life controlled by ruthless men, and haunted by uninvited ghosts, but is now faced with a chance to take control and live the way she wants to live.
And the place they are both fixated on could be their undoing.
This is a non-stop struggle, with tons of action and a little romance to keep Kruger and Fergie moving from enemy to....frenemy? Can't give it all away, but I will say, if you have read the series so far, this is one not to miss.
And if you are new to Ms. Callahan and her dragons, I urge you to go back to the beginning and start from there. While there is no real story overlap, you won't regret reading about all the dragons and how they find their HEA!
My only regret with this book is that I read it in print. I will find the audio version, though, because, come on, who doesn't love a good Scottish brogue! And I'm sure Kruger's will be HOT!!!
** No spoilers I have loved Coreene's books since I read Fury of Fire. When she added the Scottish pack, my heart sang. Now, she has gone a step further, out of her norm of dragon warriors, and brought in other paranormal groups to her Dragonfury world. I love paranormal of all kids! So, I'm going to keep this short. Fury of Frustration is amazing! Coreene gives some extra back story to the curse of the dragonkind warriors; how the curse came into existence in detail. Without a doubt Frustration is an absolute joy to read and a wonderful addition to series. It is not to be missed. *One thing, and believe me I am not complaining, the steam/spice level is extra, extra! More than I've read in previous books. Let's just say, Kruger makes it vera clear that he wants his mate🔥.

Fury of Frustration has all the goods! Its has a quick-paced storyline, gorgeous imagery, and witty dialogue.
The imagery detailed is incredible without being too wordy or slowing down the story. In the past, I have been frustrated with some authors' inability to succinctly describe imagery. Coreene Callahan writes with a clear vivid style that is a pleasure to read. There is no need to skim over paragraphs to get to the dialogue. Yes, I know, bad reader manners...
The main characters are witty and the peripheral characters add a special touch to the story. Ferguson and Kruger have a flash bang of a romance and it is guilty pleasure.
Absolutely adore the world Coreene Callahan has created for the Dragonfury Series. I really enjoyed Fury of Frustration and I am impatiently awaiting the next book in the series.
I had the absolute pleasure of reviewing the ARC of, ‘Fury of Frustration,’ by the talented Coreene Callahan… And it has been a captivating and brilliant read!
The storyline was intriguing and surprising, as were the main characters; Kruger and Fergie. Their first meet and their every interaction was chemistry at its best. Allowing for that one moment where you truly wanted to deck Kruger… and absolutely cheered Fergie on when she got her chance. ‘Fury of Frustration,’ has become a fast favorite in this series!
As always I enjoyed the quick story telling of Coreene. The story of Ferguson and Kruger was cute and I enjoyed the world building that we are experiencing in the dragonfury universe. The teasers at the end were also exciting and leave you waiting for the next book in the series.

Another winner by Coreene Callahan with her Scottish Dragons! They are so vivid that I can see the book unfold as I read. Overall this one felt like the end was rushed and ended too soon, but then I never want to stop reading her dragon stories. Kruger is totally blindsided when he meets Ferguson McGilvery the first time. They are on opposite sides of a land deal and Kruger always wins in business. He won't with Ferguson this time. He had to puzzle out what's going on with the property and it's new caretaker Ferguson.
Ferguson McGilvery has always been different. She doesn't really understand how much until she reaches her homeland in Scotland. Her mother escaped with her in the night when she was a child. Now her godmother Mavis O'Donnell has retired as caretaker of the Parkland and Inn in Scotland and she's given it all to Ferguson to take over. Ferguson has seen ghosts since she was four, but now once she gets to the Parkland her soul recognizes home. It's a fundamental shift within her becoming one with the spirit of the land and caretaker of the Inn that grants rest & sanctuary to supernatural creatures. She suddenly has all this magic at her disposal because of who she is, the caretaker.
When she arrives she has to deal with a Kruger, a pushy dragon shifter determined to purchase the property. He thought Mavis was stubborn but Ferguson is a brick wall. They butt heads on their first meeting. He needs the property to hide a tunnel and to keep the magical creatures from recognizing who he really is. When he comes back hoping to figure out why he can't stop thinking of her, he finds her armed with a cricket bat and very accurate aim. Once he traps her against the wall things quickly get steamy. Their chemistry is off the charts when they touch. Mates, they are mates and there is no question about it for either of them. Things progress they way you'd expect but is cut short by the Parkland being under attack. They each have to use all their abilities to protect the land and each other. I loved the journey. I can't wait to see more of them and she lets us know the next book is about Levin the frost dragon!
I voluntarily read and reviewed and advanced readers copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Review: I have always loved Kruger and his attitude, this showed him at his finest and I fell in love with Furgie, she is awesome and kick ass. These two are truly a perfect fit in attitude and magic power. I want to learn more about the Parklands now. In some ways I love the Scot better than the Black Diamond crew I need to know if Henry Biscayne is going to cause trouble. I’m so looking forward to more from our Dragonking friends.
Conclusion: Would I recommend this book to others? YES, YES, YES Is this book priced correctly? Yes Is this book a full-length novel or novella? Full-length novel Would I read other books by this Author? Yes
Ferguson McGlivery, is slightly more than human. She just doesn’t know it yet. Good thing she learns fast! A she learns about her inheritance, The White Hare inn, and she must take on the dragon-warrior Kruger.
Kruger is a shrewd businessman just as likely to get what he wants through negotiations as hostile takeovers. He wants The White Hare. But neither the previous innkeeper, nor Fergusen will sell. The couple starts out adversarial, but as these stories go, they can’t fight the attraction between them.
This series features tough, mean, don’t-mess-with-me male dragon heroes who have a soft spot for the women they fall in love with. Which makes me like them. Not so with Kruger. At the outset of a confrontational first meeting with Fergusen, he lets loose an onslaught of very personal insults which I found despicable. In real life, people who treat others that way don’t change overnight. And yet, it would seem Kruger did. I did like how Ferguson retaliated, especially when Kruger returned to the inn. I’d tell you, but you need to enjoy that scene, with no spoilers! Basically, I did not like Kruger at all. That one scene ruined him for me as a hero.
Beyond my dislike of Kruger, there is plenty more to the story. Magic, danger, dragons and romance pack the pages of this book and make for a thrilling tale that enhances the Dragonfury narrative. Readers of Ms. Callahan will want to add this to their collection.
Through Booksprout, the author provided a copy of this book. My review is my honest opinion.
Fury of Frustration is an exciting, fast-paced, tension-filled journey, filled with lots of surprises and plenty of heat! It’s Kruger’s turn to have his story told. While he has found his home with the Scottish pack, he has secrets that will threaten his pack and his very existence if they came to light. He finds himself connected to an area of land, that “speaks” to him, energy-wise. It complements his energy perfectly and gives him peace and comfort. What is NOT peaceful is the inn that also resides on this land, an inn for those who are “other” or non-humans. While in repeated, rejected negotiations with the current inn keeper to purchase the inn and grounds, the current inn keeper retires and leaves the inn to her goddaughter to run. Ferguson lives in America and is recently divorced. A move to Scotland may be just what she needs for a fresh start. She is completely unaware of the pushy, demanding Dragonkind male and the inn full of surprises that await her there. Her homecoming sets off a chain of surprising revelations, both within and without, that will lead her to her powerful, destined, rightful position and to the one male meant to be by her side through it all. That is if Kruger can survive the repercussions of the magical inn revealing the secrets he holds most dear….

Review: This is the sixth book in the Scotland spinoff series and 15th in the Dragonfury world. This starts off more or less as an enemy to lovers' books. The heroine Fergie (Ferguson) McGilvery, initially still living in America but comes into an inheritance of an Inn in Scotland. This inn is coveted by Kruger, a dragon-warrior. When he learns of the new innkeeper, is not pleased and sets out to get the property. What he finds is a very stubborn but beautiful red head and the dragon mate sparks start to fly. The good: I am partial to innkeeper type series, being that one of my fav writing duo has an Innkeeper series that I enjoy. Instead of space creatures, this one caters to the supernatural beings. As Fergie comes to the inn she also comes into her powers... out comes the staff and the guardians she inherits to protect this special place. The not so good: lots of side characters and woo woo stuff is introduced here and there and sometimes it doesn't seem to be tied back into the story... or I just missed the significance of the intro somewhere in between. Listened to this one in audio and it was good, but the Scottish accent was a little off at times. Overall a good listen.
As soon as I noticed the book was ready for review I could hardly wait to read it. I love Coreene's Dragonkind, and she didn't disappoint me with this book either. I loved the book from the first page through the last page. Fergie, the new Innkeeper and Owner, to the Castle and grounds in Scotland who Kruger, dragonkind of Danish pack, want to purchase are the two main wonderful characters.
I was intrigued and entertained with antic, attraction, action and steamy romance between Kruger and Fergie. There is so much going on in this book. It moves quickly and you will find twists and turns, wonderful characters, mystery, suspense, heated discussions, twist and unpredictable turns, loyalty and trust, relationships, love, and romance.
I received a free copy of this book for an honest review. I would recommend this book to anybody who enjoys fiction, paranormal romance, paranormal shifter romance, dragonkind romance, and paranormal fantasy books. This book you don't want to miss. It's fun to read!

This book was a page turner! I will try not to spoil anything. I love that Coreene keeps adding more supernaturals to the family. The book starts off with a mysterious situation and leads us straight into action!
Quick Summary: Kruger is trying to keep a secret and he needs to gain ownership of a particular property to do so. He doesn't plan on being met with stubborn opposition that will lead to even more trouble for him. He eventually falls back on his brethren to help him only to find out they know his secret and have since the beginning. He finds his fated mate and they conquer the opposition that comes their way.
Of course Coreene adds in humor and even more mysterious intrigue to keep you coming back for the next book! It even ties in the US pack and their possibly forming alliance with the Scottish pack. I recommend this book for all of my Dragon Fury readers! If this is the first book you are hearing about Dragon Fury Warriors then I suggest you go back to the beginning so as not to be confused.
Happy reading my friends!.

Kruger and Fergie are everything and more! This is a magical addition to the Dragonfury Scotland series! This book adds layers on top of layers to the overarching story of the Scotland pack, and it kept me on the edge of my mental seat! This couple is beyond special, and their story was one I didn’t see coming - but am so glad arrived! Love both Kruger and Fergie! They are so interesting, each has very unique powers, they are very strong individually and together, and together they are burn-up-the-pages steamy! Wallaig is the only other Scottish pack member to make an appearance, but of course that buzz-kill Grizgunn is up to no good as usual. Lots of action and excitement between the dragons, but it seems to be getting darker against the Scottish pack. This book ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, so I really hope the next book isn’t too far off! Oh, my, gosh, I really missed this series! Excellent world building, as usual, and a whole new cast of characters are added to the series. I really can’t wait to see where Ms. Callahan takes us next!
Wow! This series just gets better with each book. The pacing has improved to the perfect tempo. Ms. Callahan knows how to bring her reader into the story and keep them hooked until the end. Love Fergie. A heroine who's not afraid to stand her ground AND stand by her grumpy dragon/man. She's funny, smart, vulnerable and everything in between. Kruger is what we've come to expect from the dragons. But with more than a little baggage. I love the pace of this story. Had the perfect amount of humor and mystery within the first two chapters to make certain you stay up all night to finish this story! Great job Ms. Callahan. Can't wait for the next dragon to take us readers on a helluva ride!.

while the start was a little slow and some questions left at the end, over all this was another good installment in the series. Once Fergie and Kruger meet, sparks fly and all they thought they knew is turned upside down (and for Fergie, who's world has already flipped around, it's in more ways than one). Fergie not just stops being the push over she had turned into, but truly finds her destiny and discovers herself, her family history that was hidden from her and her place in the supernatural world - a supernatural world that the author has greatly expanded (without unnecessarily cluttering up this story). I enjoyed reading about these two grow and coming to terms with themselves and each other.
arc courtesy of the publisher in exchange for a fair and honest review.
I received an ARC Copy of this book, this review is from my own thought 😍
This book was really great, we can see the tension building up between the plot of the two series !! So many enemies and so many dragons who deserve their perfect mate 😍
What I loved most about this one, is the fact that we discover another part of this world with Ferguson jobs !! Also, the tension between the two is hot and powerful ! Feared by his pears, Kruger has finally met the one who’s not scared of putting in his place 😂 Between secrets, battles and bonding moments - the truth will arise !
This series is getting so much more intricate - I’m excited for the next dragon to fall.
Great storyline on this with more magical creatures. Little did the ghost seeing human know she was magical personified. Little did the demigod dragon know he was fated to the “Innkeeper”. Tempers and sparks fly when 2 strong magical beings collide but why discover a life worth living with each other. Great progression and you are left with a teaser for a night furry Scottish pack collision. I cannot wait to see how it unfolds with mates discovery within the story lines! I love the books and audio. Check this author out this world I fabulous with potential of lots of diversity to come.
Kruger doesn't disappoint. He sees Ferguson for the first time and makes a complete arse of himself! Lol you almost feel sorry for him .
Fergie comes home to Scotland and everything she is, changes. A whole new world opens up and she realizes that she was born for this.
This book has new lives in it. So in a world of dragons why can't there be more? Nothing will ever be the same now that Fergie is home and that's a great thing!
More players on the board. More alliances forged. It is getting a bit difficult to keep track of who's who in the zoo. Who's good. Who's not so good. Who's down right evil. Interesting twist with Ruger, and Furgie! Wow! Talk about a power couple! But do we really have to continue having non-endings? These open ended epilogues - read teases - are getting old. How long before the next chapter? I'm not a fan of serials.
This story tells of a young woman that was left an legacy from her godmother, and boy what a legacy it is for its a house that is full of magical beings and the house and grounds have magic that keeps people out who are not welcome, but for her it welcomes her and then the fun beings.I would like to say thank you for all your hard work and may fortune smile 😃on you always 😁from a bookworm.
I really enjoyed this addition to the series. There is something magical about an inn hidden in the the Scottish highlands that caters to mythological beings. When Ferguson inherits the inn from her aunt she doesn’t know what to expect but from the moment she sets foot in the Highlands, she feels everything about herself click into place. As her role as innkeeper becomes clear, power that Ferguson never knew she had begins to surface.
I REALLY enjoyed this! I love that Ferguson (the female - human - love interest) also has magic. Granted, it's only within the boundaries of the Inn, but that works for me, and that is enough for Kruger considering his immense power. I almost feel like all of the problems can not be solved in one book (there is only one book left). What will happen next!
Entertaining, fast paced action-packed paranormal as "enemies" discover each other's attraction to one another and find common ground. Very interesting take on the happenings and habitants of the Scotland Highlands. I haven't read any of the others in this series but this one was very captivating. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book is H O T in more ways than one! The author has managed again to keep the suspense going with the introduction of, not only a new couple but a whole new paranormal offset as well. Can't wait to see what direction further storylines take. The possibilities are endless.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I’ve been spoiled I had both full series to catch up on and it was fun and instant gratification, waiting for this book was well worth it though. I loved how feisty and powerful Fergie is, while Kruger had problems extracting his head from his nether regions Fergie was the perfect powerhouse to help him out, or bully him out of it whichever worked best for her. I loved that.
Loved the away other magical creatures are being brought in. Ring up other avenyes.
Looking forward to Fergie's and Krugers lives are interlocking and bringing more of his past history. Who are the new dragons, how is it going to help the Nightfuries bring down Rodin
An exciting read and can't wait for the threads to unravel
Totally Awesome Story!!!!!! Wow! This book was absolutely fantastic. The plot line contains all the essential points to keep you glued to the story—mystery, danger, intrigue, twists and turns, surprises, and most importantly a fated romance between two headstrong and powerful magical individuals. I anxiously await the next book in this fabulous series—the suspense is literally palpable.
I’ve read all of the Dragonfury and Dragonfury Scotland, and I admit that the series have had highs and lows. This is a definite low. The female love interest shows up out of nowhere with little backstory other than living with overbearing cookie-cutter stepfather and brothers. Once she hits Scotland she automatically becomes this new person. The relationship with Kruger is paper thin. The story was rushed, with several undeveloped plot lines. Bottom line? This is an extended sex scene in search of a story.
Another great Dragonfury book! I reread the whole series before reading this one so I could reintroduce myself to all the characters and this book was just as great as the others. I loved the way the author this time introduced the reader to two potential storylines which I cannot wait to read. If you’re looking for a great series, this is it!
