Well that was stupid. DNF @ 90%
Rowdy gets out of prison and the MC is going to celebrate. They get him a stripper. Sylvia King (virgin, stripper, daughter of cop) is just making some dollars, when she's giving the hunky biker a lap dance, she blurts out that she's a virgin. He decides to pop it for her. They f*ck, which actually wasn't that bad. They keep on f*cking for two months. Then she discovers she's pregnant and takes off because (1) she doesn't think he'd be a good dad, (2) she's afraid of her own father, and (3) she doesn't think Rowdy would want to be a father anyway. I mean she could have just asked him, but nah. Anyway - Rowdy is so in love with her, despite not knowing her last name. He searches for months and can't find her. Then he goes to the movies and sees her and realizes that she's pregnant. Instead of being pissed that she planned on keeping him from his kid, he just embraces her and is OMG I love you I'm so excited to be a daddy.
I DNF'd at that point, even though there were only a few pages left.

Rowdy served 3 years for taking down the man who sexually assaulted a woman. When he’s released he meets part time stripper/one-time teacher Sylvia (daughter of the police chief) who wants nothing to do with Rowdy Taylor. It was an entertaining read. And am voluntarily leaving my review.

Rowdy is the first book in The Black Devils MC series and introduces the reader to the MC based in Kansas City and several of the members. But this story is really about Sylvia King and Rowdy Taylor. Rowdy is the President of the MC and has just gotten out of prison after serving three years. He is picked up by Riot, who has been running things during his time inside, and is driven back to the clubhouse. There a party for is thrown for him and as it turns out one of his "presents" is a younger and sexy stripper named Sylvia. What no one know is that Sylvia is actually the police chief's daughter. Even though she may move like sin she is actually innocent and Rowdy is about to be her first. They end up staying holed up for several nights and enjoying each other a lot. What neither was thinking about was what may just come from that time together and Sylvia soon finds herself pregnant. Sylvia ends up disappearing without a word to Rowdy. He looks for her but she has completely disappeared. It is not until later that he discovers she is actually pregnant when his path crosses hers, while he is out on a date and she is obviously pregnant. Will he let her get away from him again or will he stick to Sylvia and his child through everything to come, including meeting her father who does not like Rowdy because of an incident which was what put him in prison.
This story is a nice start to the series. This is not a dark or light MC, but something in between. This is a quick read with a good story-line, nice characters, even though you wonder about Rowdy at the beginning, and a sweet HEA.

Me encanta que en cada relato, se mencione a los demás personajes, conectando todo. Aunque no sé si me gusta tanto age gap de alrededor de 15 años de diferencia.
En cada historia va todo muy rápido, pero es normal con lo cortas que son.
Para un ratito están perfectas.
Ojalá fuese una saga larga y bien desarrollada, porque me la bebería.

What a enjoyable story with amazing characters that are captivating with a relationship that is entertaining but drama filled.The couple has a sizzling passion and burn up the pages.This is a amazing story about a couple that was best friends first as usual women wish that we could have sizzling passions and we don't fall in love but that's hard for us because we do. This is the kind of story that has you cheering for the couple and when it all comes together. There is funny, sad and emotional parts. It also kept you on the edge of your seat wondering what Rowdy would do next. All of the drama will keep the pages turning. I wanted more to the ending but you don't always get what you want.

Rowdy (H) has just been released from prison and is ready to celebrate his return as the president of the Black Devils' MC. didn’t make sense
The storyline of this book just really didn’t make a lot of sense to me. It didn’t flow and the characters really weren’t very likeable. Rowdy was a bit disgusting at the beginning of the book and then when she left it really made no sense that if he was so distraught by her leaving that he was dating other people. Also, her leaving didn’t make sense. If she was such a rebel that she was a stripper, why would she care what her cop Dad would think about her baby daddy. Just wasn’t for me.

The beginning of this book reminds me why I HATE MC books. They way they treat the women and her calling him Daddy 🤢 normally I love a good daddy kink, but this was not it. It wasn't done great at all
That being said; the ending of this made up for that. I liked how he was more than willing to marry her even though she thought he wouldn't want her after he knocked her up. And stood up to her dad. Mostly how he was willing to almost kill a cop and go to jail for 3 years to defend the gf of one of his men when she was raped by a horrible police officer.

The author has given us a wonderful older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Rowdy and Sterling/Sylvia and does not let go. When Sylvia is hired to entertain at the Welcome Home party for Rowdy, neither of them are aware of how their lives will change. However, the secrets Sylvia holds on to may just destroy them.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. Rowdy and Sylvia meet at his welcome home party. Their attraction is undeniable and neither expect it. Sylvia is not just a simple stripper though and that complicates things further. Fast paced, instant love story between an older biker and a young woman with secrets. Rowdy is going to be a shocking addition to her family.

Rowdy, MC president just out of prison - meets Sylvia, stripper hired for his return party. He was never a relationship kinda guy... He is now. And he's in for a couple of surprises... (1) She's pregnant and (2) her father is the police chief. This is a short, high-heat story. There's some action, and the usual MC drama. My favorite part of the book... When her father meets Rowdy, things are explosive. And lol-funny!

It was good till 75% in.
I was really enjoying this book. I wish there was more characters in it but the story was short and straight to the point which I liked but I felt as we were getting towards the end I felt Rowdy become almost whiney. I just didn't like how the story was turning. I liked the idea of it but I felt it could have been better. I lost interest and just skipped to the end. But I do have to say I love the first half of the book.

Hot, Short MC Story
This book has a bit of grit, steam and great characters! I loved how there was depth to the characters even though the book is not a long one. I also loved the connection between Rowdy and Sylvia. This is an insta-love, virgin, age gap read and gives you so many of the feels!! I really enjoyed reading this book!

Just what i needed
I was literally going book to book. Not finishing anything but Rowdy and Sylvia helped me! The dirty talked reeled me in and your threw in an accidental pregnancy! Ugh a girl after my own heart lol! This was quick, intense, and entertaining! I loved every minute of it! I’ll definitely be reading more!

I really loved book.one in the Black Devils MC. Rowdy went to jail for protecting a friend and when he is released he meets Sylvia a dancer and the sergeant daughter. I really love how these two find their perfect ending. A fantastic new series and look forward to more stories.

nice short read, maybe too short.
Feel like the end was cut short. It was a good read but it felt like it abruptly ended. It could have done with another 2-3 chapters to wrap it up, it felt like it was left mid thought.

Rowdy has just been released from prison. Now it’s time to party… what he finds is Sylvia. Sylvia is sassy, and perfect for Rowdy. There is just one complication…..her father is the police chief. This is a quick sassy read that I enjoyed.

The story of Rowdy and Sylvia was hot and steamy, intense chemistry and passion. The drama of an MC book is always fun to read. I look forward to the next one in this series. This is a must read.

I felt like the story ended way too early. They had a fight, they make up. Story over! No epilogue, nothing. Not worth the $3 spent on this book.
