In a faraway land of scorching, hot, arid desert called "Al Qayiza" -The Sweltering Land, the Bani al-Badr tribe gain their prosperity and livelihood by trading their intricately designed dagger sheaths. The world they used to know will turn to disarray. THT is Prequel to Salam Series -After the Sandstorm(ATSS)
The Heart of Touqar
is a graphic side narrative from the fantasy series "Salam," where the epic concentrates on specific characters, knowing that this story has no bearing on the events in the core "Salam series." Nonetheless, it explores the past and motivations of these characters and delves into more interesting magical worlds.
"The Heart of Touqar" stands out as a remarkable comic, boasting distinctive art and gripping cliffhangers that leave you eagerly anticipating what comes next. The characters, including Fatek, Zafeer, Nahed, and Shamma, are so well-developed that I've grown incredibly attached to them. I'm keen to see how their stories unfold. Presently, I'm enjoying the online version on Webtoon, but I fully intend to buy the printed edition as well. This gem deserves a special place on my library shelf.
