Those were the last words I left Felice “John” Maggio. I knew they were true from the beginning.
The first time I saw him was through a haze of blood. He walked into my hospital room like he was the one who could heal me. He had sensed that not all wounds can be seen—my sense of security had been shattered.
Despite the warnings from my mind, my heart decided to trust him.
I should have listened. The warnings became symbolic, like rain and a broken mirror on a wedding day. Still, I did something I never should have.
I fell in love with a gangster. And after I ran, he followed, just like the unbreakable promise I’d made him.
Felice
Blurred lines and gray areas were specialties of mine, but any vow I took was sacred. So when Roma Corvo repeated the words "till death do us part," nothing in this world could break that vow. Not even her.
Bella Di Corte writes criminal romance that will steal your heart. She brings to life stories of men who walk the line between irredeemable and savable, and the women who force them to feel. She’s known for her rich world building and strong characters. She’s also an International Bestselling Author.
Apart from writing, Bella loves to spend time with her husband, daughter, family, and four dogs. She also loves to read, listen to music, cook recipes that were passed down to her, and take photographs.
Bella was born and raised in New Orleans, a place she considers a creative playground.
I liked the writing style extremely!! It was powerful and ardent and also the main reason for finishing this story. Moreover, I liked the premise and the characters of Roma and Felice/John and how much invested in one was to the other. 💞
Now, there were a few things that I didn’t enjoy so much.
The age gap was over my limits, 18 years. Roma was 23 y.o. and Felice/John 41 y.o. However, I have to admit that it was well executed and I didn’t pay enough attention to their age difference.
The hero was addressed with two names. Sometimes it was Felice and others John, something that I found a little distracting.
Plenty of secondary characters and relationships among them that almost gave me a headache.
Emanuele Corvo had five daughters. The first letters of their names put together spelled ITALY. How did he know beforehand that he would have five children as to name them in that particular way???
Roma was a Palaeontologist, yet my eyes couldn’t stop rolling with all those references to dinosaurs, and organisms for terms of endearment such as carnivore (an organism that eats mostly meat) and herbivore (an organism that eats mainly plants). “Damn. He was so big, it got caught on his pants. His dick could hold them up, like a coatrack. A frigging Giganotosaurus.” Roma
There was undoubtedly an explosive chemistry and passion between the mcs but the emotional connection was inadequate.
I would have liked a deeper development of Felice/John’s background.
While I have devoured the Gangsters of New York and Disavow by Bella Di Corte, this is the second story that wasn’t a winner for me. I will definitely read her next release though.
I love Bella Di Corte’s books but throw in an age gap mafia romance? I swooned before I even began reading it. Set in Chicago, Felice and Roma’s story is perfection. It’s detailed without being boring. You get utterly swept up into the scene described by Bella. It’s super sexy and the plot is such a page turner! I love the fact that Corte doesn’t shy away from writing violent scenes..it is a mafia romance after all and I, as a reader, get really annoyed when author’s just give vague information when they write what is suppose to be a badass violent scene. Hello! It’s a mafia romance! Give me the details! Thank God for Corte. But in all honesty, Felice and Roma’s story is so good. It’s without a doubt more than just a love at first sight(subjective) or a star crossed lovers romance or one those type of love stories that stands the test of time where you work through what fate or destiny has in stored for the relation. I Love Felice. Corte definitely knows how to write a good alpha male that just makes her readers swoon. Felice is protective, possessive, dangerous and deathly. And her heroines are always such strong charatcters and Roma is no different. Till Death Do us Part by Bella Di Corte was an addictive read and I for one cannot wait to read more from this new series.
This is the first book I have read by Bella Di Corte and I will be reading many more, I can guarantee that. Felice has spotted his one, his other half, dancing in a nightclub, she seems ethereal and seems to complete him. Roma is unaware of the carnivore that has claimed her. She feels her life is already mapped out for her, she has been promised to an unknown man, like her sisters before her. She will not defy her father. But Felice is intense and envelops her in his life, she feels protected and cared for and the attraction is mutual. But it cannot be I love the anecdotes and depth in the meaning of this couples fate and forever after. It’s was philosophical and engaging and snagged me from page one. Absolutely flawless story, written with passion and compassion.
I am so grateful to have received the ARC for Till Death Do Us Part. I am a huge fan of Bella's work. And she brought forth such a fantastic new story in which I rated 4.5 Stars!
One thing I'd really like to bring light to, that I have continuously told all my friends, is that I absolutely adore Bella's Author's Notes. I have read each one and I feel in my soul that they are her love letter's to her readers'. It's just so amazing as a reader to be able to glimpse a bit of an Author's heart and soul; especially one that they respect so much.
Now, Till Death Do Us Part hit a lot of notes and hit them well. The FMC, Roma, is from a very traditional Italian family. All of her sister's, besides her and one other, have dutifully fulfilled their father's request to arranged marriages. Because the alternative, is being shunned and disowned essentially from the family name. Roma really captured my attention, she is a 23 year old Paleontologist. She has quirks and is so truly authentic that I found myself admiring her bravery in being able to do that. As a stunning woman, coming from a family where women don't really "break the mold" of getting their hands dirty...I just loved that Roma could juggle the Classy and Hardworking gal! She is highly intelligent, fun (and funny!), doesn't care what other's think of her, is not a pushover, and she has such passion for her work. A night out with her last remaining unwed sister turns into a nightmare...that also alters Roma's life by bringing an unknown man into her life, Felice, our MMC.
Felice...whew this man! Bella write's some of the most phenomenal men! I don't know how else to say...besides they are MANLY Men, the type that you just know are a different breed. Felice, is 41 years old. And Bella deserves a round of applause. The maturity level of Felice was dead on. Also, I am forever changed with a certain scene containing Gelato. My god it was delicious!
I do want to just point out the only thing I didn't particularly care for, absolutely a me thing, I didn't quite vibe with some of the dinosaur references. But, it was so minor an issue that I don't think it's going to stand out the same way to other's as it did to me. But, beyond that I truly loved the journey that Felice and Roma had to go on...the good times and bad times between Felice and Roma were so organic.
This book also had a lot of hilarious moments, that I truly treasured! Roma's driving scenes?! I was cracking up, I felt like I was a passenger in the car trying not to laugh. The times that Roma would shock Felice with her quirks and ability to make a fool of herself yet feel zero shame in doing so?! Their interactions and easy way of communicating to each other was chef's kiss. I just had a wonderful time getting lost in this book! I can't wait to put it on my shelf🖤
Let's start off by saying there were so many things we loved about the story, but what really had me constantly smiling was Roma and Felice's nicknames for one another—a dark tale with a little bit of light.
This story was intense and suspenseful and filled with so much chemistry and love and lies and deceptions and betrayals running a muck. Roma was an awesome character, loved that she chose her heart over duty. In this dangerous world, they live in, it was nice that both Felice and Roma chose love above all else. This couple couldn't be more different, yet they fit perfectly their connection and chemistry were off the charts and what I loved most about Felice is it was never his intention to change the woman he fell in love with whereas Jake only wanted arm candy.
Felice was dark and dangerous and highly possessive and jealousy got the best of him at times but, there was no denying that, even from the beginning Roma was meant to be his, their connection was undeniable. Love his little nicknames for her, they fit her perfectly. This man was a ticking time bomb and anyone who got in his way regarding his wife or woman put their life on the line because he was playing for keeps.
This story was sexy and super hot and one with a plot that runs deep and is a complicated one. Loved the characters, especially the sisters' connection. Lo, my favorite of the sisters, is so supportive of Roma's choices.
A page-turner that was sexy and dangerous and so very hot, and we loved it from cover to cover, couldn't put it down. It's a new author for us, and we really loved our first book by them. The ending is perfect for this couple as we are hoping it's not the last we hear from this couple because they give new meaning to the world's destiny...
What can I say....First, Bella Di Corte is my absolute favorite author. She has a poetic style of writing that paints a picture so colorful and vivid, you feel you're right there in the story. But more than that, Bella's words create a symphony of emotions. No other author can make me LIVE and FEEL a story like she does.
I know many Bella fans who will always love Mac and Mari from Machiavellian. It has always been my favorite Bella Book. But I have to admit...Felice and Roma have moved right up there with them. Their love is as deep, as strong, as beautiful as Mac and Mari's and Brando and Scarlett's. (If you've read those books you'll understand, if not, you don't know what your missing). Like the other couples, the face their own challenges and danger.
Felice and Roma were never meant to be. She had been promised to another. But can you stop a love like this?...
"This was more than love at first sight. This was a completion of something that started long before this moment ever did. It went beyond this time and place. I felt the area where she had been torn from me heal."
" I felt like we'd crashed into each other and when we did, the line where he began and I ended became non-existent."
Their path to a happily ever after is fraught with obstacles. How do you choose between your other half and your family when to lose either would break your heart? And there are many who will (and do) do anything and make every attempt to keep them apart. What do you do when the very life of the one you love is threatened if you stay.
Bella knows how to write perfect alpha heroes that you can't help but love. She knows how to write strong, independent females that you admire. And she knows how to write a love so great, so deep, it will melt your heart. Felice and Roma are just another prime example of her phenomenal writing skills. You will laugh and you will cry with them! You will feel all the worry and heartbreak they face. You will travel from Chicago to Italy and the beautiful coastal town of Taormina in Sicily. Bella's descriptions of the towns and places they visit make you feel as if you're there.
And oh.....joy, joy! Uncle Tito Salas is once again providing his wise insights and wonderful words of wisdom. (I love that old man!). Rocco, Romeo, Brando and Scarlet also make an appearance in this story. I love that Bella brings back some of our favorite characters from her other stories. Finally, I promise you, I will never be able to see any type of dinosaur (carnivores, herbivores and omnivores) again with out thinking of Felice and Roma and the dinosaur mating dance.
Bella, that #1 spot of my favorite book(s) is starting to get crowded with your books. Another 5 star masterpiece!
What's more angsty than living another while being promised to someone else? Well this forbidden romance delivers on that question and more. Felice and Roma are entrenched in the dark criminal world. Felice quickly is obsessed with Roma as she dances and knows she is his. Roma is following her family's orders to marry a match they have set up for her. But can she go through with it once Felice enters her life? Roma is a strong character that I liked and didn't find obnoxious as trying to hard to hear her roar. Meanwhile Felice is everything you could want in a hero. He's obsessed and full on with his woman. This is my first book by this author though I know it won't be the last. The most impressive thing to me was this author's writing style matched my reading happy place. The world she created was memorable and interesting with characters that stood out in my mind and a lot of my go to tropes. Definitely an author I'd continue reading more from!
Till Death Do Us Part, delivered all I expected and more. This book has been on my TBR for a while now, and I finally got the chance to pick it up. I am so glad I did. Bella Di Corte gave her readers a beautifully written age gap mafia romance that was intense and suspenseful.
Till Death Do Us Part tells the story of Roma and Felice. Roma, the youngest of five girls, was slated to be married to a man of her father's choosing. She was prepared to follow tradition to please her father, but then she met the man of her dreams. The man who would have her choosing her heart over duty.
Felice knew from the moment he laid eyes on Roma that she belonged to him. Nothing would stop him from claiming her, not even a marriage arrangement contract.
Roma and Felice shared an undeniable chemistry and despite his possessive nature, one will feel compelled to root for their happily ever after. While everyone quivered upon hearing his name, Roma felt protected and loved around him. Anyone who tried to hurt her or keep them apart never escaped his wrath.
The story, throughout its progression, kept me wondering how they would break tradition to be together. It was interesting to see them navigate the complexities of their relationship. They faced many obstacles, but in the end, love prevailed.
Till Death Do Us Part packed heat, suspense, and drama. The story hooked me and I couldn't wait to see how it would play out.
Secondary characters added to the intensity of the story. Readers familiar with the Fausti family and who read Man of Honor, will get a chance to reconnect with Brando, Scarlett, and other members of the family.
She Belonged To Me:. Felice and Roma...Till Death Do Us Part
Bella Di Corte you keep blessing us with your gift of a well written, excitingly, wonderful Mafia world from Chicago. I loved this story. I made sure that when I started reading this book 📚📖 that I would be able to read it in one sitting, because that's how awesome the books 📚📖 are. What can I say about Felice Maggio and Roma Corvo. He is unapologetically the one who will carry out the enforcer for the Mafia family. Roma is the youngest of the Corvo sisters who is waiting for sister Lolita to be married to see who her father has for her. This story cannot be done justice by my synopsis of it. It's worth the time and money invested to read it for yourself. I highly recommend this book 📚📖 and any other Bella Di Corte book if this is your first.
I have a weakness for strong heroines, and the dark, deep alpha's who love them, and Bella Di Corte never fails to provide that for me with all of her books. She has the most original way of writing the mafia world with all its complications, and the added bonus of beauty like I've never seen to be honest, and I've been hooked for a cool minute. Roma is our heroine, who is part of an Italian family in the crime family life, and like her sisters before her, she's expected to marry a man her father picks out. I'll say this for Roma, with her career as a paleontologist, she marches to the beat of her own drum which I found fabulous. The moment Felice set eyes on her, he wanted her, and he would burn the world down for this girl as they were perfect for each other, but the bumps in the road are extreme to say the least, and it does bring the twists & a lot of angst to the table that's for sure. To give a breather from the heavy of the star crossed lovers, there's humor that had me laughing, and as a bonus, people that I love from previous books make appearances so yeah, another perfect read in my eyes! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
TW/Tropes: mafia romance, blood play, arranged marriage, physical assault, murder, violence, soulmates, virgin FMC, age gap, touch her and you’ll die vibes
If you loved Mac and Mari from Machiavellian, Felice and Roma will steal your hearts. Their love is strong and resilient and comes with great obstacles as they were never meant to be. Roma’s father promised her hand to another which causes a great internal struggle for her - choose between your kindred spirit or your family when either way your heart will be broken. Felice is possessive and will stop at nothing to be with his other half. Highly recommend reading!
This book broke me in the best way possible. There are times when you're reading a book and you just know that it's going to stay with you forever, this is one of those books. Felice and Roma are perfect. Their love is destined and its utter perfection. They fought with everything they had for their love and happiness. I am hopelessly in love with their story. The romance is absolutely beautiful and gut-wrenching. I love who they are as individuals and when they are together they are invincible. Their love just consumed me. Bella Di Corte is an extraordinary author. Her writing is so poetic and magnificent. I have read everything she has written and I am just obsessed with her books.
Till Death Do Us Part (Blurred Lines) By Bella Di Corte
Authors are the ones who take words, weave them together and make magic for readers. Till Death Do Us Part, Author Bella Di Corte proves once more why she is the Queen of Mafia writing.
Her main characters are strong people and when they come together as a couple watching them grow, love and make a life in a world where life is not easy is simply just amazing. Di Corte gets readers involved from the very first page and even at the end; you don’t want to leave.
Her want to mix characters in from other books works wonders, not that any of her new stories need those characters, but it makes the new story more exciting. If you’re a long time fan your just welcoming the family you haven’t seen in awhile. If you’re a new reader your finding out about all the people you never knew you were missing.
Roma Corvo and Felice (John) Maggio were not meant to be together, but kismet, serendipity or just plain old want and lust brought them together. What should have sacred the daylights out of Roma was the one thing that made her trust Felice Maggio, as he walks a very gray line which often blurs throughout this story.
As a reader you want to make Roma part of your girl pack and fall in love with the amazing Felice Maggio. It’s written, Plato knew it was to be and so will you when you are deep into Till Death Do Us Part. That’s when you will wonder how did you get this far this fast and why is it ending so quickly. You are living this story on each page and loving every minute.
The fact that Di Corte brings a beloved character, Uncle Tito into Roma and Felice’s lives along with guest appearances by several Fausti family members, long time readers get to see old friends while making new friends.
It’s no accident that Author Bella Di Corte is my number one go to Mafia author and I look forward to every adventure she takes me on. I am giving Till Death Do Us Part all of my stars and a sound round of applause to this magnificent weaver of words.
This is the first book I've read from this author, and I will definitely be checking our their other books! It was really well written it was mafia but definitely not as dark as some of the others I've read. 4/5⭐️ 3.5/5 🌶 There is quite a lot of spice after about halfway its very 🥵 and you can definitely feel the chemistry between the two.
"Plato claimed that, if we didn’t force our steps, instead going with the flow, the stars would lead us back to our other half. Destiny. Fate."
"A second or two could change the course of destiny."
Roma meets Felice officially in the hospital after being attacked with her sister after a night on the town. She feels an instant connection but doesn't plan on doing anything about it due to her father arranging all his daughters' marriages.
Felice keeps showing up wherever Roma is, and they eventually make a routine out of it. Roma feels he is her other half and is slowly falling for him. Her head and heart are at war with one another she is promised to someone else and if she doesn't marry him she could lose her family.
Felice is a little manipulative to get her to do things he wants because he isn't willing to give her up.
“You belong in my bed. Sunrise. Sunset. Every day of my life. You try to walk away from me, from us, this story isn’t going to end well."
Things get heated between families due Felices interest in Roma
“You f*cking leave me... I’ve tasted your blood, and it’s in my system. I’ll find you.”
“You before the world. Doesn’t matter who, when, or where.”
After her sisters wedding is when the story really starts to pick up. Thats when her family begins focusing on her arranged marriage which she has to make the decision to go through with it or not.
"Dear John,
We were doomed from the start."
I really like Roma and Felice together I had a hard time connecting with Felice I feel like he is a man of few words and there wasn't enough POV's from him and while I do think he loved Roma he still used her for his games which he didn't understand how that hurt her until it was to late.
Ms. Di Corte is a new to me author. What grabbed my attention first was her name, I thought that’s a really cool name. Then everything else was calling my name and my mind screaming TDDUP is a must read. I love mafia book and the blurb sealed the deal. I’m thrilled to have discovered this phenomenal author. I loved everything about this book! Felice and Roma are incredible characters. I mostly always love the bad boy hero. And Felice is right up there on my list. His obsession with Roma was spellbinding. The force of his feelings gave my tingles and left me breathless. I loved how he never doubted his feeling. Roma is such a strong kick@$$ woman. I love brave courageous heroines. She knew what she wanted. Went after it. And never regretted it. Holy smokes their connection was absolutely incredible! The intensity of their feelings is epic. What they feel and have for one another is so much more than a simple love. Their passion and lust sizzles off the pages. It’s an entity that is a living thing. Electrifying and explosive. An energy and force of nature of its own. I loved Ms. Di Corte’s writing style. It’s so impactful. I also loved the references she uses to describe Roma and Felice’s relationship and the situations and circumstances they find themselves in. Their story made me laugh and shed a few tears. It had my heart thumping wildly. I wanted to read as fast as I could to get to the next page. But also savoring each word. A delicious sexy story and a once in a lifetime type of love. That not even death can destroy.
You know when you see that one of your favorite authors has a new book out and you instantly stalk her until it's released? Yep, that's pretty much exactly how this went down...
If you don't know this yet, she's responsible for creating one of the most notorious Mafia familias known in our readers genre right now...The Fausti Family. Now that that series has come to an end, she's branched off, creating yet what can only be described as another Mafia family with tied to the Fausti family...and it's freakin awesome!!!!!
"John" is the second in command. Enough said, right? Wrong. So wrong. Although he's completely ruthless with his day to day "activities", he's the kindest, most caring man that ever lived....to one woman only, his other half, even if she didn't know it yet.
Roma comes from a large family. One that lives by the old ways of arranged marriages. She's also the youngest. So she's watched her sisters actually have some sort of success with the men that have been chosen for her. She trusts her fathers options and is ready to make that happen when the time is right. That is until her entire world gets turned upside down. When she realizes that the person she made up in her head, actually exists. What does she do now?
The push, the pull, the familia rules. Everything within this book is everything you think you know about a Mafia family and how it may be run within the walls we don't get a chance to see through. But it's also so much more. It's a love story. One that even Plato would approve of.
i'm pretty pissed this book wasn't better. after reading raving reviews, i was sure i was going to have a great read. that was not the case and now i feel like i'm owed.
🖤writing style i did not care for the writing style at all. instead of story telling, bella basically just told me what was happening. ex. "he sat up. we left the apartment. dinner was nice." like? it was so hard to connect to the story and characters when instead of feeling the mc's falling in love, i was told they had a connection. just boring.
🖤john & roma they had so much potential. if only their feelings were portrayed better rather than a step by step of their actions, i could possibly believe they were in love. not only that, but
🖤complicated family tree there was zero reason to complicate that family tree as much as it was. following who was related to who, what the characters meant and how they impacted anything was just.. i dont even know. trust me, i want to know, but i dont. too complicated for no reason.
overall, this would have been great but it was a giant mess of info dumping and name dropping. whatever was going on with cassio and ella sounded way more interesting than the main story. write about them and maybe ill give this author another shot.
The comparison of this being as good as Mac's book and the tropes was why I picked it up. 18-year age gap, but as others said it's not a big factor between them, the impact of that is more with Felice's relationship and drama with other older characters, but it doesn't impact their immediate relationship. His apology/grovel isn't "I'm sorry please forgive". He gives her a beautiful acknowledgment that he hurt her and because HE hurt her, realizing it and seeing how that affected her, devastated him that he had done that to her. I'm not explaining it well but it's good. From the first time they meet and she can only see red through her eyes, he makes her feel safe. He does things that make her more confident ( I liked the driving lessons) and the way he pushes when he needs to and sets boundries/expectations.
The imagery, used in this sticks with you. I love the herbivore and carnivores. The Dino mating rituals and his nicknames for her were so good. “Ti amo, my dangerous carnivore.” “Ti amo, my little herbivore. The only creature who has ever brought me to my knees. My better half. She who holds my heart.” “One,” I said. “One.” As it was. As it would always be. Not even in death shall we part.
There are lots of steamy times but they don't consummate the relationship until about 60%in. I am looking forward to Cassio's book. I have read Machiavelli by her many times, such a good book, and will probably read this one again also.
Let me just preface this review by stating Bella Di Corte can do no wrong. Her world building and writing style immerses you into another world; where the rules are not what we know but they’re steadfast, ruthless, filled with morally gray obligations, and men who love mercilessly. 🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖
Felice and Roma are hot. Searing red hot hot HOT. This is absolutely a “touch her, you d|€” type of book and I’m here for it.
Felice and Roma are two-halves of a whole. Individually they’re great, but together they dominate. I was awaiting for the problem and in true Bella fashion, she served us complex family ties, drama, deceit, cunning lies, and masterful manipulators. Watching the web of lies and families unravel was immaculate.
Everything about Felice and Roma are intrinsically sexual without even needing to be and I lived for every encounter they had.
Side characters, I have to mention them, Bella enmeshes side characters beautifully! I’m left dying for more stories in this Chicago world (👀E + C). We also get treated with features from the Fausti Famiglia, if you haven’t read their series please start now. 🦕🦕🦕🦕🦕🦕🦕🦕🦕🦕🦕🦕🦕
'Every breath. Every choice. Every step. Delivered me to this moment. To her." How do you put into words a love so strong that it defies everything..."ONE!"
When Felice set his sights on Roma it was all over. Nothing and no one could stop a dangerous "carnivore" from getting to his beautiful "herbivore." When Felice claims something it's his. Not even death could separate what was always meant to be. When you know someone was made FOR YOU, there is no beginning and no end...you are ONE! Bella Di Corte has done it again. She has brought the underworld of Chicago to life. Till Death Do Us Part is a great read that will have you smile, cheer, want to slap someone and ultimately fall in love with characters who seem to jump off the pages into our world. Enjoy every moment of this great book. You'll love it!

We always get a great story full of emotion and color. A taste of old Italy along side out modern traditions. Whenever we enter this author’s world, we get a treat. Felice, is definitely a keeper. As soon as he sees Roma, he knows she is his. Roma is the youngest daughter of a traditional Italian father. Traditional as far as marriages. He has chosen husbands for his elder daughters. They all worked well. Now it’s Roma’s turn. Roma has a dream guy. Tall, dark and handsome with green eyes. Comfortable in jeans or suit. He will burn down the world for her. In order to have her dream man, Roma will need to go against tradition and possibly lose her family. Felice and Roma have their hands full, they go through a lot and we ride along with them. Angst, steam drama and a love for all times.
Bella DiCorte is the absolute best at Mafia Romance, hands down.
Imagine being desperately in love with one man while being promised to another. And it’s a promise you didn’t make for yourself, it was thrust upon you by your parents. That’s Til Death Do Us Part, by Bella DiCorte, and it is forbidden romance at its finest. It’s also the dilemma Roma Corvo is faced with here, and she is the most relatable character — smart, funny, sincere, and real. The battle she fights between her heart and her sense of duty to her family keeps you turning the pages. But what I love most about Bella’s books is that she has the ability to create the most delicious male characters, and Felice “John” Maggio is no exception. One of those men who knows exactly who he is and what he wants, and God help the person who tries to stand in his way.
5 COMPLETELY DELICIOUS STARS Til Death Do Us Part is my first read by this author and what a read it is! This author created a story and wrote it in such a way that you're pulled in and made a part of it. Felice "John" Maggio and Roma Corvo are made for each other but they definitely don't have an easy path. Their journey is filled with lots of emotion, betrayal, action and excitement. When you find your one, you know and there's nothing that will stop you from getting what's yours. This is an excellent age gap read that will consume every single second that you're reading. I can't wait to read more from this author. "This was more than love at first sight. This was a completion of something that started long before this moment ever did.
I'm new to Bella Di Cortes's world and I'm not disappointed at all. Age gap can be done perfectly and this is it!
Roma Carvo and Felice Maggio are the perfect couple.
I love how mature Felice is and obsessed with his girl. It's gorgeous to read. How protective and loving he is with her, a treat. One look and he decides she's his.
Roma Carvo is strong and sassy. Loved the comedic moments between her and Felice. She's a paleontologist which is unusual yet appreciated. Her character was headstrong and classy. An unknown night takes her to Felice and they're bound.
The smut was 🤭🔥 Absolute fire and spicy
Definitely a 5 star from me 🤭 Won't be the last Bella book for me
When talking about love or soulmates, you don’t really think about two souls literally merging together as one. That’s how Felice and Roma’s love is so poetically described in this book. Unfortunately, they are forbidden to be together, as she is promised to another. But their love burns hot and whoever is around them better watch out or they’ll get burned.
“You before the world. Doesn’t matter who, when, or where.”
I loved Felice and his over the top, alpha, “touch her and die” attitude. He’s such a cinnamon roll for Roma. I also loved all the dinosaur references. I’m a sucker for weird comparisons/metaphors and nicknames.
“You’re a skilled butcher, for a plant eater,” I whispered, my voice shredded. “You carved my fucking heart out.”
When your life is planned out for you, it can be easy to become complacent and just float along. Roma had accepted her father would find her future husband and had no reason to fight against it. However, Felice “John” Maggio came along and soon Roma was fighting for her life - and her love.
Bella Di Corte does it again! Till Death Do Us Part is a mafia romance that doesn’t shy away from a darker side of mafia and a steamy side of romance. The secondary characters have plenty of personality and fill out the story nicely. A few surprise characters come to visit, some familiar scenery, and (of course) twists you don’t see coming. I cannot express just how much I love when worlds collide, and Bella’s universe loves to do just that!
I loved everything about this book! Felice was fearless, ruthless, possessive and heartless. Except when it came to his beautiful herbivore, Roma aka Dino. From the first time seeing her he was obsessed with her. She was his and he would destroy anything or anyone who tried to come between them. Roma in turn was obsessed with her carnivore, Felice aka John. These two had an unbreakable bond. Their love ran soul deep. Not even death would separate these two. One would not live without the other. Their chemistry set my Kindle on fire 🔥 lol. Watching these two literally becoming one was just beautiful. I’ll never forget their story.
Till Death Do Us Part is for anyone who loves forbidden and age gap mafia romances. I definitely give it two thumbs up!!!
"There is no price on love" Oh my!!!! What an incredible story. I have always said that Bella Di Corte writes epic love stories and this was no exception. Felice and Roma's story was love at first sight and then road block after rock block. These characters were wonderful and having the supporting cast of Fausti's and even Uncle Tito (if you know you know I LOVE Uncle Tito) was just wonderful. Books by this author are so well written that I see the words play out in my mind like a movie. GREAT BOOK!!! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book for my honest review.
This is my first read by Bella Di Corte and I absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. She can definitely write a deliciously perfect forbidden age gap mafia story. I definitely look forward to reading more of her work.
This is Roma and Felipe’s story and it was absolutely wonderful. They are simply perfect together. She’s 23 and he’s 41 but regardless of the age difference they are meant to be even if she’s arranged to marry another.
This is definitely a book that you must read to get their whole story. It’s an edge of your seat intense read and highly recommended!! Absolutely loved it.
