This book taught me so much about personal finance! I also really liked the fact that it included worksheets to practice on. I think this is a fantastic introduction.
I am sure there is a plethora of personal finance books that explain how to get rich. You can save your money. The only one you need to buy is this one.
It is a comprehensive how to text which will more than pay for itself.
I learned a lot with this text. I highly recommend for anyone in college or any post-secondary institution to take a personal finance course. You will NOT be sorry
For an updated Canadian edition this book sure used a lot of American references. It also used some very old figures. For $120 I think the 'revision' should be much more thorough. Not very impressed.
The world of finance is not on the consumers side and does not offer products to support a downturn in economics. They cover themselves and require you to pay for it in insurance and as new bailout.
