Super cute and fun holiday novella that sees love finally coming for Admiral Amanda Hutchins in the form of Kol, a grumpy loner that doesn't exactly care for humans. Kol likes to live away from "civilization", especially when it includes humans. Imagine his surprise when his fated mate literally crashes into his life and she's no other than the President of the humans! Even with the mated bond, Kol is concerned about whether or not they could work. Loved that Admiral Hutchins gets her second chance at happiness and Kol can get the family he always wanted. Great storyline with mature characters that deserved their happy ending too!
This review is for Possessed by the Alien Warrior by Krista Luna
OMG it is Admiral Amanda Hutchins turn to find love and I was so ready for some mature MCs! ***** Rating: 5 I love the Varool stars Steam; 2 flames Genre/Tropes: Alien Romance, Fated Mates, Mature MCs ***** Yep, another fantastic addition to the Fated Mates of Varool series! It is not secret that I have LOVED this entire series and when I found out that Admiral Hutchins would get her HEA I couldn't wait!
Wilderness Adept First Guard Kol is minding his own business when all of sudden he hears a loud noise, upon investigation he discovers Admiral Hutchins. Kol is a total introvert that finds peace in nature and he wants to do whatever it takes to preserve the environment. When he scents his fated mate and his zural heart starts to beat for this human he knows he must be strong in order to keep his life in the forest. Little does he know, Amanda is a tough woman and she is about to go after something she wants for the first time in a very long while.
Fantastic world building and amazing characters made for another terrific read! My only complaint, I want more, I always want more. I not only recommend this story, but the whole darn series! Happy reading!
What a phenomenal collection of stories filled with romance, action, holiday cheers and smoking hot aliens!
🎄 Feast by Hattie Jacks - “You taught me how to kiss, sweet one. Let me teach you about pleasure.” ~ Holy mother of Christmas miracles! I was so waiting for Orvos to finally find his eregri!
Orvos is the Gryn’s medic and he’s one very, very surly male! Not only is he growly, intimidating and grumpy but he’s also impressively rude. But there is so much more to the older Gryn than meets the eye. Orvos is also very honorable, strong, fiercely protective, an amazing medic and he truly cares for everyone, even if he doesn’t show it. I just adore this grouchy warrior!
After being rescued, Freya’s trying to find her place in this new world. I loved that she was so helpful, kind and inquisitive. Even more, I loved that this Earth doctor was so feisty, sassy and that her mouth had no filter. She’s an amazing woman and I loved her so much!
I absolutely adored everything that happened between Orvos and Freya! From the moment they met, their attraction was undeniable. But the grumpy Gryn thought himself too old and didn’t believe to be worthy of a female. Nevertheless, their chemistry was fantastic and I just loved their banters and teasings! And when they have to work together to prepare the holiday celebrations… Oooh, talk about tension! Those two were so amazing together. And when they finally gave in to their undeniable need for one another, the passionate moments they shared were off-the-charts hot! I absolutely adored possessive and dominant Orvos.. What can I say... Wrap me in ribbon and deliver me to Daddy Claws!
Overall, the story is a marvellous holliday novela filled with everything naughty and nice!
I absolutely loved it!

🎄 Naryn's Bounty by Deysi O’Donal - “Oh, my heart. You are the most beautiful creature I’ve ever beheld.” ~ Naryn is such a sweet and wonderful woman! And she's such an amazing mother to the sweetest boy ever - Jarat. She’s so kind and caring, but she’s also very shy and tends to keep to herself. I loved her so much!
Oxa’s spent a lot of time as a bounty hunter. But life in space doesn’t hold an appeal for him anymore. I loved that male - he’s so charming and easygoing. Even more, he’s so patient, strong, protective and thoughtful. Oxa is absolutely amazing!
I loved everything that happened between Naryn and Oxa! From the moment they met, the attraction between them was undeniable, but Naryn was not looking for love. She’s accepted that her sweet and social son will be the only male in her life. But fate has other plans for her. I loved how charming and patient Oxa slowly managed to win her heart. I absolutely adored how amazing Oxa was with little Jarat. Even more, I loved the moments Naryn and Oxa spent together getting to know each other. And when they finally gave in to their undeniable need for one another, the passionate moments they shared were so hot. Naryn and Oxa were so wonderful together and such a perfect match and I couldn’t get enough of them!
In addition, I loved that we got the chance to visit Pamia again. Everyone is back together, and a wonderful celebration is on its way.
Overall, Naryn's Bounty is a sweet and festive story filled with holiday cheers, krismass weeds, twinkling lights, mistletoe kisses and krismass wishes come true!
I absolutely loved it!

🎄 Possessed by the Alien Warrior by Krista Luna - “There is no casual with us. If I take you, I will claim you, mark you as mine.” ~ Admiral Amanda Hutchins is one strong and powerful woman. As the leader of humanity, she has tons of responsibilities and important decisions to make. I loved that we got to know her as more than a leader, a mother and a grandmother. But also as a woman with wants and needs. Amanda is absolutely amazing - caring, brave, compassionate and curious. And I loved her so much!
Wilderness Adept First Guard Kol is one grumpy Varool warrior who I couldn't help but love. He prefers the wilderness and is not very fond of humans. But there’s more to the surly male than meets the eye. Kol is strong, fiercely protective and honorable. He might seek solitude and might’ve given up hope of finding a mate, but life is full of surprises.
I absolutely adored everything that happened between Amanda and Kol. From the moment they met, the attraction between Kol and Amanda was undeniable. But both were hesitant to act upon their feelings. Nevertheless, I loved the moments they spent together exploring the wild parts of the planet. Those two were such a perfect match, proving that True Love can find you at any age. And when they finally gave in to their need for one another, the passionate moments they shared were off-the-charts hot!
In addition, I loved that we’re back on Sagittarian One for one more wild adventure. And did someone say adorable alien puppy?!
Overall, the story is another phenomenal addition to the anthology. It’s filled with danger, adventure, action and blazing hot romance!
Naryn's Bounty was SO GOOD!! Shy, sweet Naryn is living on Pamia with her son after losing her best friend/mate. When Oxa (who we met in Deja's Bounty and ADORE) decides that he's had enough of the bachelor life, he decides to visit his friend and sees her for her first time. The attraction is instant and their chemistry is OFF. THE. CHARTS. This was a SUPER cute Christmas or should I say "Krissmas" story that I'm now obsessed with and will re-read often. Plus I'm never disappointed by the spice level!!
Alien's Host (by Alexandra Norton) - A very cool and unique romance. Sexy and intriguing.. Great introduction to more..
My Not-So-Secret Alien Santa (by Tandy Lyons) - Super sweet alien boss and his grumpy girl.. Really cute story and super fun-to-read! Can't wait for more from this new author.
Possessed by the Alien Warrior (by Krista Luna) - Love this older couple! Never too late for forever... Sweet/steamy and so cute..
Feast (by Hallie Jacks) - I just couldn't resist reading this fantastic holiday story! Just scrumptiously sweet.. SO happy to see Orvos find his eregri..
Naryn's Bounty (by Deysi O'Donal) - A sweet story of a second chance for romance. Love how the bounty hunter is so gentle and patient with Naryn..
I was so excited for this anthology because one of my fave authors wrote a short story in the awesome world they've created! Naryn's Bounty is another fun romp into the DeysiVerse and I enjoyed every minute of it. Naryn is quiet and reserved and is gently and sweetly coaxed out of her shell by her piratey alien mate. INTO IT. A low angst, full of feelings, quick read for a chilly afternoon. Highly recommend! Looking forward to enjoying the other stories in the anthology as well. :)
Lots of steam. Lots of fun to read and lots of variety of authors and writing styles. If you like sexy aliens finding their fated mates and enjoy steamy stories, this is the anthology for you. I've also found a lot of new authors and have subscribed to their newsletters. Win, win all around!
Possessed by the Alien Warrior by Krista Luna 5 stars
Amanda, the female human lead, is a grandmother as well as the admiral in charge of the humans remaining (all female due to an enemy virus). She’s taking a week’s break in the wilderness with her communicator off so that no one can call her. Kol, the male alien lead, is a Wilderness Expert for his people (all male due to the same enemy virus). When he comes upon Amanda’s ship crashing, he races to save her and is astounded to find the fated mate he never expected to find. But he lives in the wilderness most of the time and she’s been living on a spaceship…
This novella is dual POV, well written, and a great midlife romance with two middle aged character who both have significant life experience but haven’t had a great love. I understood Kol’s initial reluctance to engage and his concern over human conservation practices. I enjoyed Amanda’s determination to have her holiday, even in the face of the limitations she struggled against. I enjoyed Kol’s need to remain near her and assist. I enjoyed their relationship development and intimacy.
My Not-So-Secret Alien Santa by Tandy Lyons 4 stars
Sasha, the female human lead, was abducted from Earth and almost immediately rescued. Whilst she can’t return to Earth, she has been given a job - in cubicles from hell with a fussy boss. She’s desperately looking for a alternative that isn’t being a farmhand. Thovin, the male alien lead, has been interested in Sasha from the moment he met her and has tried to keep her safe and close to him. But his family has opinions about his marital prospects and future that he can’t see a way out of…
This novella is dual POV, well written, and a cute and steamy read. This is the author’s debut, I believe, and I really enjoyed how absolutely adorable Thovin was in his awkward attempts to secure Sasha’s affection. I appreciated and enjoyed Sasha’s determination to find alternatives for herself and for other humans and Thovin’s support and facilitation of her wishes. I enjoyed their relationship development and found the world cute. I’m really looking forward to where the author goes from here.
Alien’s Host by Alexandra Norton 3 stars
Layla, the female human lead, is a financial adviser who has been sent to a very important rich client right before Christmas. She’s not happy to be away from her family at this time but she has no option if she wants to get ahead in her career… Kuthil Ash Kharn, the alien lead in male form, doesn’t understand humans and the way their world works because his world is nothing like it. But he is strangely drawn to Layla. Then she’s injured and he has to place part of himself inside her for her to heal, and what’s left isn’t sufficient to sustain a human form. So the body she has known as Kuthil Ash Kharn returns to his planet and Layla is left with a sentient piece of him inside her…
This novella is tri POV - Layla, Kuthil Ash Kharn, and the shard of Kuthil Ash Kharn that remains inside Layla. It is an interesting piece of writing, featuring alien possession and I was amused by the shard’s actions and emotions as it settled into Layla. I found the premise of the story interesting but was a little miffed that it ended on a cliffhanger - there will be a following story (with, I hope, a resolution), but I admit to finding the ending as it stands unsatisfactory.
I received a complimentary copy from the authors and this is my voluntary honest review.
First time reading this author for me. I was puzzled at why Naryn is the way she is. At first I thought she was just extremely introverted and maybe has social anxiety. Then, because her friend Dev says it's more than just being shy, I wondered if she had experienced some trauma I the past -- but she hadn't. I did like the slow progress of the relationship and how respectful & careful Oxa was with her. We get dual POV from each of them, but I didn't get much sense of who Oxa is as a person nor what he does for a living, because the story focuses more on Naryn. Cute story but skims too much, so that one day Naryn is so shy she can barely speak to Oxa, then a few days later she feels so comfortable that she can talk to him about anything? I feel like I was cheated out of the opportunity to watch them falling in love with each other.
My Big Bad Alien Orc Santa by Jinx Layne ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I liked this one. It was sweet. An older orc who thought no one could ever love someone as old and ugly as him, and a human woman who loves him for who he is. It was a bit frustrating how Sy kept pushing Noelle away, but I loved that he had a good friend who kept prodding him and challenging him and pushing him to take a chance with Noelle.
Possessed by the Alien Warrior by Krista Luna ⭐⭐⭐
I was disappointed with this one. Amanda, who is the leader of the entire human race, behaves very unleader-like. She says she clung to human technology because people would expect her to. But alien Varoolian technology is superior, and as a leader, you would choose superior tech because it's the smart and safe thing to do. She even flies a 300-year-old spacecraft despite it not being in good condition, then it fails and crashes. So silly.
Kol comes to her rescue. Amanda is 46 years old, but she immediately checks him out even though she's injured and in pain, especially taking a good look at his groin. Her clit is tingling and she's waxing lyrical about how wonderful he smells, and I'm rolling my eyes.
Kol knows that she's his fated mate. But he doesn't want to mate her because firstly, he's prejudiced against humans and secondly, he likes living alone in nature. Nevertheless, at the end of the story he suddenly tells her that he wants to mate her. There was no explanation for this abrupt change of heart, and they didn't discuss the issue of where they'd be living or how they'd make the mating work when she needed to be in the city but he liked the wilderness.
They were just overpowered by lust and did it without thought of consequences. It felt juvenile and unbecoming of people in leadership positions. Plus, although they had spent time together, the impression I got was that throughout it all, he mostly kept his distance and held himself aloof from her. So when they say "I love you," I didn't believe that they really felt it.
Because of this, I didn't like the story. I didn't feel that the characters stayed true to their personality and the roles that the author had set up for them.
An Alien Mate for Christmas by Melody Beckett ⭐⭐⭐
The whole story takes place within a 24-hour period, so it's instalove. I can understand that with Jon, who recognises Kitty as his fated mate. But Kitty is human, so for her I feel it's just that she's lonely and horny and he's there. It felt like if anyone else had come along, she would have fallen for them too, because she was just that vulnerable and sad. The story moved too fast and life-changing decisions are made at the speed of light.
I was very happy for Jon, who is considered a low rank on his planet and has been discriminated against because of it. He's so happy to meet Kitty and to have Kitty's acceptance, something he could never have dreamed of. But I felt Kitty was a rather pathetic person. She didn't make a good impression on me from the beginning, when her car breaks down at midnight and her phone battery is dead -- she works at hotel, no reason why she couldn't have charged her phone. Still, people do forget, but... she decides to walk home by way of a short-cut through a field and for some reason, despite the cold and her exhaustion, not to mention the darkness and the late hour and potential danger of wild animals etc., she inexplicably stops to explore a circle of stones that her grandmother once told her held magic 🙄 She doesn't sound like the brightest bulb, to be honest. I thought Jon deserved better.
Christmas on Paxdasa 3 by Godiva Glenn ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I liked this story. It was sweet and a really feel-good story. We have Haley, an omega human who is attracted to her alien friend, but she thinks they can't be together because he's not an alpha. I wasn't sure if Haley's past had been told in a previous book. There are hints of her experiences in captivity and how she was abused, but no concrete details. I loved how gentle and caring EoKhan was with her. I wish we had his POV too; the whole story was in first-person from Haley's POV.
Stalked by the Alien Hunter at Christmas by Remy Cavilich ⭐⭐⭐
This was a very predictable book where Nerissa's spaceship crash lands on an alien planet. She goes out with her shipmate to explore the inhospitable landscape, is found and rescued by Izotz, who is sort of like an alien dragon shifter. Ho-hum, of course she is his mate and she is irresistibly turned on by him even though he is so alien-looking. Told in dual first-person POV. Nothing new here, have read this kind of plot countless times in sci-fi alien romance.
I’ve been looking forward to grumpy Orvos’s story for a while now and it did not disappoint. I loved everything about this story, the wonderful characters and heartwarming storyline, everything about it is perfect. The humans and Gryn have decided to celebrate Christmas. Freya is new to Ustokos as she was recently rescued. The moment she meets Orvos they clash but the attraction is there. Now Orvos thinks he’s too old for a mate and Freya doesn’t want one but fate has plans for them. Freya asks Orvos to be Santa at their Christmas party and he takes on the challenge. Things get steamy and they spend a lot of time together. Orvos calls her his eregri but hasn’t built a nest or asked her to have a banding ceremony. It all comes to a stop when they have an argument. Being without her makes Orvos see what he did wrong and is determined to win his mate back. He knows exactly what he has to do and prays she will forgive his ornery ways. Little does he know Freya has a little present of her own for Santa this year.
This is a must read Gryn romance and I highly recommend reading it. It’s a 10/10. If you haven’t read any of this series you are seriously missing out. Go buy them now, you won’t regret it. This world pulls you in and leaves you hooked and wanting more.
Possessed by the Alien Warrior
It’s finally admiral Amanda Hutchin’s turn to find love. Her mate is a grumpy alien named Kol, he lives away from everyone, especially the humans. So when Amanda crashes into his life, literally, he’s shocked to discover she is his fated mate. This is a very well written book and the characters are awesome. The storyline has lots of detail and incredible world building. This is a perfect addition to this anthology and 100% a must read story.
Naryn’s Bounty
This is another very well written addition and I enjoyed reading Naren and Oxa’s story. Naryn is a lovely woman who dotes on her little boy, Jarat. She’s also quite shy but the chemistry between her and Oxa is scorching from the moment they meet. Oxa is kind and patient with Naryn and sweeps her off her feet. This is a wonderful story with amazing characters and a heartwarming storyline. A 10/10 in my opinion.
I was so happy to see Orvos the doctor of the Gryn find his Mate. Orvos is one of the oldest Gryn who is stern, grumpy and flat out antisocial. He is always busy patching up the Gryn Warriors either after battle or after a night of partying.
Freya was introduced in the book "Rebel" where her sister Diane with the help of her mate Syn saved her from Alien captivity and brought her back to Ustokos. Freya was a doctor on earth and now that she is on a foreign Alien planet she is trying to find a way to be of use. With the help of the other human females on Ustokos Freya decided to help bring Christmas to Ustokos and who better to play Santa Claus than the grumpy doctor Orvos.
Orvos and Freya's chemistry was instantaneous but they just couldn't connect completely due to misunderstanding between the two. Orvos wanted to build Freya a nest but since he wasn't a Gryn Warrior he thought that he wasn't worthy enough for Freya. Whereas, Freya's feelings were hurt because Orvos didn't build her a nest like the other Gryn Warriors have made for their human mates.
Thanks to the Gryn Warriors and their mates Orvos and Freya received a crash course on interspecies mating. The end result was Orvos was the best Santa Claws bringing joy and laughter to all of the children in Ustokos while saving the best gift for Freya which happened to be their HEA.
This is a great anthology with stories by so many of my fav authors...and new to me authors ;) Holiday romances warm my heart and that these take place on other planets fed my imagination nicely. Godiva Glenn had a great 'omegaverse' romance that really had me flipping pages to see if EoKhan and Haley could find a way past her traumatic kidnapping and off to an HEA. The author brought great emotion and chemistry to their romance and I loved how things unfolded for them. Despite being a short story, it really had everything I need to keep me glued to my reader. Now to dive into the rest of this anthology...fun reading adventures ahead ;D
Review for Naryn's Bounty: What a cute little novella. Christmas or should I say "krissmiss" on another planet? Check. Single parent romance? Check. Something sweet with a little bit of spice? Check!
Naryn has resigned herself to widowhood until she lays her eyes on Oxa.
Oxa has come to Pamia because he is tired of the bachelor life. He knows he makes the right choice when he sees Naryn.
The shy and cute courting was perfect for a little holiday read. Then of course the "climax" in a couple different ways 🥵.
This one is very different than a lot of the books I've read lately. There is no action or suspense, just a community trying to bring joy during the dreary time of year. Such a cute read.
This review is for Krista Luna’s Possessed by the Alien Warrior. I loved this story, our Admiral really deserved some alien love for sure and Kol is just the perfect Alien for it. The way they learned to get along, alone in the jungle was absolutely amazing. And they even get such a cute baby. Super recomendo this one.
Naryn’s Bounty by Deysi O’Donal I got the pleasure of reading Naryn’s Bounty. This is a sweet Christmas read that will get you into the holiday spirit! Naryn is a widow and the single mother to Jarat. She is not looking for a mate but fate has other plans. Jarat’s Christmas wish is to have a family and the fates have granted him his wish.
* Thank you to the author, Tandy Lyons, for an ARC of the novella "My Not-So-Secret Alien Santa" from the Christmas Sci-Fi Anthology: Unwrapping the Alien *
This is a work place romance. The abridged version: we have Sasha, the heroine, who is a bit prickly, which is understandable, as she was abducted from Earth. She works for an intergalactic agency after being rescued by the good guy aliens. The agency helps other earthlings acclimate to their new lives after being taken from their homes on Earth.
Then you have Thovin, the stern brunch Daddy boss. He's demanding, to say the least, but has his reasons. He was swoony and really wanted nothing more than to take care of Sasha. Remember, there are reasons... I'll let those unfold for you :)
This was my first brief glimpse into the author's world building. I cannot wait to delve into what she has planned next and the remaining stories in the anthology!
What a sweet other-worldly romance by Tandy Lyons - such a fun time!
This review is for Possessed by the Alien Warrior by Krista Luna
This book was brilliant and I loved how the Admiral let her hair down to have a vacation on Sagittarian One before she has Christmas and New Years with her daughter Deirdre and King Storr and her granddaughter Jema. But meeting her mate after she lost her husband John to the virus was so unexpected and thrilling at the same time. First Guard Kol is a wilderness adept scout is on Sagittarian One scouting out the forest for his King when a humans polluting machine crash lands in the forest near the stream that could contaminate the water and with that thought he races to the seen to assess the damage it caused and help who ever is inside but when he see’s the human female his extra heart starts to beat but he is to angry at her to focus it right now. When she see’s the damage she caused it upsets her greatly and his anger subsides just a little bit but now he sets about using his nanotech to fix the chemicals before it does any permanent damage. When she tells Kol that she Admiral Amanda Hutchins he wonders how she can be his mate and how it will work if he claims her. Amanda is so attracted to Kol and is not sure if it’s real or just because it’s been a long time since she has thought of herself and needs. How does it all turn out, does Kol take Amanda as his mate and if so what does the future hold for them both. I could write heaps more about this book but it would give away to much but it’s a definite must read as is the whole series.
I do love Deysi series. So its no surprise that I enjoyed Oxa and Naryn's story. This is a sweet festive season romance with a shy woman and a travelling (but soon to settle down) warrior alien.
I loved the slow build into their love. And that Oxa was so patient and caring if Naryns soft and gentle (shy and cautious) nature. He also took to her son quickly. This has very Christmas on 24 Maple Street vibes for me. Loved it.
A quick read for me, this is the perfect story for the season.

This review is for Alien’s Host by Alexandra Norton
I found this story to be an amazingly good read and a different kind of alien encounter that added lots of fresh, imaginative spark to the alien/human romance genre. Layla Oberman, financial advisor has been given the opportunity by her employer Rosey Financial to assist Kuthil Ash Kharn one of the aliens now residing on Earth with a pressing financial opportunity. Happening right before the Christmas holiday Layla hopes to wrap up (sorry, pun intended) the assignment and return home to her family before the big day. With touches of the metaphysical, and dollops of humor and spice I found a completely delightful read within these pages that revealed a story of two very different entities becoming one amidst the season of joy and told within a well written, heart tugging narrative. I received an advance copy of this story and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This review is for Krista Luna's Possessed by the Alien Warrior
This series is a favorite of mine and I was so happy to get a novella showing 2 MCs in their 40s finding love. Amanda is the leader of the human fleet and has even through a lot since merging human ways with the Varool's. She is in need of a break and decides to take a trip planet side to truly explore life on world. Kol is an outdoorsy alien warrior, he is tasked with learning the environment to help better preserve it, and in his eyes from humans who are encroaching on his races ways. This is what happens when 2 seemingly opposite, experienced adults (quite literally) crash into one another and try to figure out how they fit together. It's a fun, romp through the first true holiday season both the humans and aliens have experienced in a long time.
I received an advanced copy of this novella but all opinions are my own.
Everything Krista Luna writes is gold, and this novella is no different. It was exciting, sweet, and smeggsy. I love Kol, our Varool warrior. I’m a sucker for a grumpy male introvert. He’s so strong and fierce. Amanda (and admiral and president over humans) crashes through his walls, and not just figurately. She’s a brave leader and very caring. With her ferocity and compassion and Kol’s protectiveness and honorable demeanor, they’re a match made in… space. This was a well-written and fun storyline with well-developed characters. Though short, there was more than enough there to make you fall in love with both mc’s and root for their love connection. I adored everything about this novella and highly recommend it. Thank you to the author for gifting me this intriguing novella in exchange for an honest review.
Alien's Host by Alexandra Norton Layla (h), a financial advisor, is sent to a ranch in Alabama to work with Kuthil Ash Kharn, an alien living on Earth. She's not sure why he needed the services of a New York City-based financial advisor and things seem a little off when she meets him. Kuthil Ash Kharn is not what he seems, which Layla will find out when she's injured during a blizzard, and he has to heal her. Definitely not your typical alien and while I do love alien romance, I'm not sure this one was for me. I read this story as an ARC and individually would have given it a four, but I'm going with a five for the whole collection due to the caliber of the authors and what I know they'll collectively bring to the table.
This review is only for Possessed by the Alien Warrior - Admiral Amanda Hutchins has been a fixture in all of the previous books (if you haven't read them, then do, I love them). She has seen her daughter find a huge Varool to share her life with, not to mention he is also the King. While she is genuinely happy for her, she still feels the loss of her husband. She is determined to find some peace on an actual planet. Some time for her before she spends Christmas with her daughter and family. Only her time alone turns out to be not quite so alone. I have to say that I loved Kol. Just enough of the stoic and grumps to make you want to see how he would be if he were not on alert all the time. This was a very sweet story. I loved it.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading the story and I know that anyone who’s been following the Gryn will know that Orvos is a grumpy doctor who feels that he will never have a mate for himself until he meets Diana’s sister Freya. Freya is a doctor from earth and she was rescued in the last story but she feels like she has no use and after giving herself to the doctor she doesn’t feel as though she has a place amongst the settlement of the humans and the Gryn. Christmas comes and between Freya and her mate they bring Christmas due to all of the younglings and also to themselves.
I was given a copy of this book to read and I am reviewing with my honest and fair opinion.
Possessed By The Alien Warrior: By Krista Luna 🔥💜🔥💜🔥💜🔥💜💜
This was such a brilliant love story. Amanda thinking she shouldn't be thinking or looking at a hunk of a male Kol. WTH women yes you should. Kol, who is definitely a loner prefers the quiet life and the isolation it brings. Knowing that he is passed his prime is resolute in knowing that having a mate is not in the cards. He has made peace with that. But with all the females in the universe one literally drops in his lap. Not exactly a people person but when he sees Amanda he realizes that his whole world is right in front of him and his life will be forever changed because of her !
What can be better than having Christmas with aliens? Especially handsome aliens. I read "Not So Secret Santa" in this collection and fell in love with the story. Sasha is a human woman that works for an organization that helps a duties to adjust to their new life if they vant be returned to their home planet, Earth is one of those planets. Her boss,Thovin, is secretlynin love with her, but his family obligations keeps him at a distance. When a secret santa is introduced into the office, Thovin uses it to let his true feelings show through changing Sasha and his life forever.
I’m voluntarily leaving an ARC review for Holly Hanzo’s story Charmed by the Alien Scout.
I loved that the female protagonist is sassy and independent, and not needy and damsel-in-distress-ish. But underneath the tough exterior, she’s rather lonely. When the meets the Edurr, the male love interest, whoaaa do sparks fly HOT AND HOTTT.
There are some typos, but don’t let those bother you. Just have a good time with this sexy story!
