"I'll do it! I'll become your thrall!" A crossdressing girl and an otaku vampire find themselves entangled in a dangerous relationship. Don't miss this heart-pounding romance from the award-winning Ema Toyama, perfect for fans of Crimson Spell, Black Bird, and He's My Only Vampire!
After much ado, Mito and Ruka have finally realized that they love one another. Ruka proposes to Mito, and she accepts. But our couple is still far from their happily ever after. Ruzé, a vampire posing as a new student, has been working to unravel their relationship. With his hypnotic powers, Ruzé has been bringing back Mito's memories of her parents—who were killed by vampires. Will Mito stay with Ruka when she realizes what happened to her family? And why does Ruzé have a vendetta against Ruka?
She made her debut in September 2003 in the monthly manga magazine Nakayoshi with her story, Tenshi no Tamago ("Angel's Egg", no relation to the anime movie of the same name). Gokkun! Pūcho is considered her best representative work. Tokyopop has licenced it under the title Pixie Pop. All of her works are published by Kodansha, and they are enjoyed mainly by preteen and teen girls. None of her series have yet become anime.
The story is ridiculous, but it's embraced what it is and has hit an enjoyable stride. Mito and Ruka share the story with a gender swapping fiasco between their friends, we get the new rival's backstory (which may have been nicer to get in spurts rather than all at once), and a super cute cat bonus. Yeah, the mechanics of this manga have always been strange, but they truly work to its strength here.
I cannot express the shock and joy I experience at the camp and how dramatic these things are while being genuinely sucked into the story bc it has heart
Vampires are my weakness, so of course I had to read this one too. It was a nice and fun story, very cliche, but I don't mind it. It was interesting up until they got engaged. After that, I lost interest in the story, and that's why I'm leaving it at volume 8.

So...Ruka, not onky knowing Ruzé is a vampire, but also after he just threatened Mito, leaves Mito alone? And how is she supposed to get to the land of vampires anyway? Is the ring going to teleport her? 🤦♀️ I...I can't anymore. This whole thing is just ridiculous and contrived now.
