Soooo I*m basically a Sommelier now that I have read this book! No seriously this book does a very good job providing answers to almost any question you could have about the origin, development, storage and tasting of wine! The great illustrations help - I would have given it 5 stars if it was more consistent - for example, the books goes into detial about many wine regions, I wish they would have had like a standard base set of facts for each region. Each region is well described nonetheless.

A wine book that takes out the snobbery and provides an in depth look at all aspects of wine. The illustrations make it an incredibly entertaining read. But don’t be fooled, you will also learn a lot. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to better understand the history, geographic differences, grape types, how to best enjoy.
