Stacey Broadbent used to dance across the stage as both a salsa dancer and theatre kid, but these days it's her fingers dancing across the keys of her computer. She writes under four names and a variety of genres, so there is something to suit most tastes. Her storytelling style combines wit, relatability, and emotional resonance - inviting readers into the messy, marvellous folds of life.

An avid reader and lover of all things bookish, Stacey has made it her goal to share about her favourite authors and books she's read, while also building her own publishing story. The proud co-ordinator of charity bookish event, Wham Bam Author Jam, Stacey provides a space for readers and authors to connect, while enabling her never-ending TBR to continuously grow with each event.

She is a qualified proofreader and has recently completed her Diploma in Library and Information and a Diploma in Arts. She belongs to both the New Zealand Society of Authors and Romance Writers of New Zealand.

As well as reading, her hobbies include LEGO, cross-stitch, crochet, diamond art, and now acrylic painting, and you can often find her sharing about her latest project on TikTok and Instagram.

A very important story about which deals with mental health. The story follows a teenage girl and her family as she struggles with her mental health. I was so invested in the characters from the first page, Stacey is so skilled in developing characters which are incredibly human and has used this book to show how behaviours are often a symptom of the experiences that have shaped us.
