Lifelong best friends and eclectic clairvoyant witches, Willa Deberry and Trace Davies, have been welcomed into the psychic vampire community. But their already fantastical lives suddenly become even more exhilarating when they discover they are the fated mates of true vampire brothers belonging to the most powerful clutch in the world. Destiny and danger collide when an adversary from the past threatens the future for Alder and Harris Hunt, in this modern New Orleans tale.

Falling For Fangs by Ginger Lee is a sweet paranormal fantasy story of fated mates. Trace and Willa are best friends that grew up together and discover they both have special powers. The girls find that they are fated mates of two powerful vampire brothers named Alder and Harris Hunt. Alder, Willa's mate, also feels a pull toward Micha, one of her best friends, and asks him to join their unique relationship. As they all enjoy the honeymoon phase of their new relationships, the girls receive a threat. Could it be someone from Adler and Hunter's past surfacing now that they have claimed their mates? As they search for answers, they attempt to keep the girls safe long enough to end the threat. This is one of those dream-come-true types of stories. The characters were captivating and easy to like, with their backstories woven seamlessly into the story as they begin to get to know one another. The magic in this book is subtle and realistic. The plot moves along quickly with lots of action to keep readers entertained. Lee gives us a peak of what it would be like to be a supernatural living in the south, where vampires and witches existed. It has all the makings of a modern fairy tale. I enjoyed this story, and I was delighted with the details of new love. I wish we were given more information about the supernatural creatures in this story. It's explained that there are various types of vampires, but it was a bit confusing and not very detailed. Additionally, the fact the girls are witches and have powers is not expanded on beyond the use of their abilities. The focus of this story stayed focused on the plot and their relationships. I give Falling For Fangs 4 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book for adults due to the graphic sex and various adult topics included in this book. The spice factor was a 4. If you enjoy sweet stories of love at first sight by soul mates that would do anything for one another with the darkness brought in by other characters, you will find this book enjoyable!
This book was really great ! I love vampire and witch books. This one was really detailed and had the right amount of spice for this type of story. The love between the characters was beautiful. Despite being forced into a lifestyle one doesn’t choose to be in the ending was great. Love really does endure all. I defined recommend this book !
It’s a pretty impressive story but was very short. I wanted to know more about the world and the equation between supernaturals and humans. How vampires work with or say deal with Day thing. What’s the special thing about “energy released”? There are so many questions that are left unanswered. Although the story is HEA still left a hole in my mind to know more. Writing is nice, the author knows how to rope in the audience and keep them interested. The characters are fascinating and keep you hooked to them. It all reminded me of Vampire Diaries and that made me happy. A little more world-building and this book are fabulous.
This book was an okay read...I feel like I was just thrown into a world and expected to know what was going on. There wasn't a lot of world building, I guess? Once I got over that the story was easy to follow for the most part. I liked that it followed two different couples. 3½ stars
I have always been fascinated with Vampires. I fell in love with New Orleans the first time I set foot in the city. Fortune telling and tarot have always intrigued me. This book has everything! And then some! Fated mates, lifelong best friends, and lots of sexy time. I am obsessed! I hope this becomes a series!
A Priest, A Warrior and a Counselor meet up at a bar..... When you read this, you'll know 🤫💕
Clairvoyant witches and best friends, Willa & Trace
Vampire brothers, Alder & Harris Hunt
Micah, a best friend to Willa, linked beyond friendship
Fated mates Willa & Micah to Alder and Trace to Harris. When their destinies collide with danger in New Orleans as the brothers' past sets out to destroy them.
Short read in which the author quickly immerses you into the supernatural world created. Intrigue filled with loads of heat imagined. Point of views are predominantly from Willa and Trace with Micah's later in the book.
I feel like there is potential for more from The Clutch the author envisioned with the slight abrupt ending. I likened it to an amuse-bouche; a sampling even. Can see a series of standalones surrounding this.
Let me start by saying I love vampire books, so I bought this one and the sequel. I cringed through the book, it was short so I finished it because I felt it was a waste of money otherwise. I will also read the sequel with low expectations sadly simply because I already bought it.
I felt the story was mediocre at best, almost tacky. The writing style agitated me. The sentences were short and bland and non descriptive.
I am not a fan of thruples, more than two partners in a relationship. It’s hard to follow a relationship for me when multiples are involved. The seeing each other and deciding there mates, and turning into full blown lovers in one day I couldn’t relate to at all. There was no build up, no feelings even for the characters. I really could not get into this book. I felt like I was reading a poorly written summary of another book.
Falling for Fangs is a unique vampire and witch romance. When the vampire brothers Alder and Harris claim their mates who are witches Willa and Trace then Alder also has a human mate, Micah. Their journey is filled with drama, emotional and some steamy scenes. But they will get their happiness in the end.
I really enjoyed this book and cannot wait to find out more about what will happen for everyone. Willa and Trace are best friends since childhood, and although it’s not said, they’re witches. Alder and Harris are brothers. They’re also vampires. Micah is the model fiend to Willa. Now it’s time for all of their lives to intertwine. Because it’s simply fated and has been since before the girls were born. Set in New Orleans, like all great vampire stories, vampires aren’t entirely hidden from the world. They socialize with all of society. Attending and holding galas and events. But now there are some who aren’t happy about these fated mates, and the extra mate to one pair. Someone from the past is very upset and wants revenge. Someone present would like to claim someone as their own because they’re clearly bored with their life as it is. This is a novella that gives me True Blood meets Vampire Diaries with a sprinkle of Interview With a Vampire.
I do wish that this would have been a full novel. Only because there could have been more of a story build up so that we could understand more of how the vampire world works. And understand how life was when it became known that they exist. My favorite part was when we got the details of Alder’s and Harris’s creations. Because it gave us some details. I would have enjoyed more details. I am hoping that I can find out more about their world as someone is going through a change at the end of this one.
This was a very quick and easy read. I needed that for a current read. There is some MMF and FFM scenes in it. But the spice was tastefully done. Not too overly smutty at all. I cannot wait to read more from this author.
Thank you to PeachyKeens for the eARC. I am leaving this review willingly and honestly.
This book refers to Willa and Trace who are destined to be with Alder and Harris. Willa and Trace are basically witches and Alder and Harris are true vampires. True vampires being a living version of your traditional vampire but with some of the same weaknesses.
I always try to be honest in my reviews and I just felt like this wasn’t a book for me. It’s a little cheesy and over the top. The romance is thrown at you the moment you open the book and the climax doesn’t even really feel climactic.
It has definite potential to be a new take on paranormal romance, but unless you’re looking for a quick cheesy romance read, it might not be for you.
This was a quick but fun read. I absolutely loved all the characters they were very intriguing and made you want to know more about them. Willa And Trace are best friends who are also psych and maybe even have a little bit of witch in them. They are fated mates to Alder and Harris who will do anything to protect them. These Vampires have been waiting for their mates for a life time and wont let them be taken from them. Willa and Alder also have another fated Micah who will add to the fun of this three some. If you love some hot alpha vampires and two spitfire witchy women you will absolutely love this book. I was given this book as an ARC for my honest review.
This was an okay read, it was short and rushed. I did like the characters, I just feel that this story could have been more. There are some steamy scenes and there is some non-consensual parts with one of the male leads that I feel could be disturbing for some. **SPOILER** It was brushed off and it ended immediately after he was rescued. I did not like that it wasn't talked or dealt with in any way. The abrupt ending felt like a cliff hanger and it wasn't, the story was just done.
This was an overall ok read, with some negatives, but the story has promise and I could have seen it being more.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Falling for Fangs is a cute vampire romance. Willa and her bestie Trace finally see their future. Both have special gifts, and their mates are waiting. Brothers Adler and Harris are old vampires who have waited a long time for their mates. Once the timing is all right just hang onto your seats and enjoy the ride. There are a few twists and turns along the way that will have you glued to the pages. This is a quicker read, and you are just going to fall in love with these mated couples. The strength each of the couples bring to the pages is just fabulous. I could not put this one down.
Why is this story so short. I wanted more. Yes I know there is another but the author made me want to know about the surrounding world and what makes it tick.
Willa and Trace are the mate of two vampire brothers, Alder and Harris. And there are hot even in book format. Their sex appeal oozes off the pages. Now let’s throw in a third person - Micah - into the Willa and Alder mix and holy hotness indeed!
Love the danger element of a threat from the guys pst. Kept me happy. Can’t wait to see what book 2 offers.
Ughh I really don’t like the star rating system, because even though but I didn’t really connect with the story, doesn’t mean someone else won’t. Maybe since I was in a slump I couldn’t connect, but I did like the building of the supernatural world, the vampires were a bit different take than the typical story, which I really liked. It was pretty fast paced, but it was filled with romance and a good story!
I really wanted to give this book 2.5 stars. The actual plot of this book would have been really good, but it felt rushed and lacked the razzle dazzle. I feel like it was longer and spent a little more on details and explaining how Willa and Traces magic worked alongside the vampires. I pretty much had to force myself to finish the book because I did not want DNF it. The spice in it was decent and was probably the better part of the book.
I loved this book! This is my first book of Ginger's that I have read but I am going to be sure to read them all.
I really enjoy the balance of steam to plot and I honestly had a thrill reading the paperback while sitting at my local coffee shop (I couldn't get out of my seat). It's hot, it's spicy, it's entertaining and you will love the characters!
So happy I found this book! P.S. I think I have a thing for vampires now.
I'm a real enthousiast for vamp and witch books and this blurb just sounded awesome so I had to read it for sure. Love the world Ginger Lee creates here but wished the book was a little bit longer. On the other hand it was nice enough to read and you fly through the words written. I will be watching the author for future releases as I am intrigued but hoping on a longer book next time.
I'm a sucker for any story that takes place in New Orleans. Add in Witches and Vampires with a touch of romance, and it only gets better! Lee wrote a compelling tale about friendship, love, belonging and survival, then tossed in the supernatural, shaking it just enough to create a fantastic story. Highly recommend!
Falling for Fangs by Ginger Lee is a lively paranormal romance that blends friendship, fate, and danger with irresistible charm. Set in modern New Orleans, it delivers fated mates, powerful vampires, and just enough suspense to keep the magic and the stakes high.
4.5 This was not like any other vamp story I have read. It was unique Trace, Willa witches, Alder, Harris vamps and Micah human. There are mates, rogue vamps shunned and even an obsessed vamp Leons. Interesting storyline, I liked it.
