"The world you live in is a sad, bitter place."

He was silent for a long while. "Perhaps. But I think it just became your world, too."

This was such an exciting read! I was invested the entire time and didn't feel like doing anything else other than keep reading till the end, haha.

The writing in general is just okay, but the suspense is incredible, and that's what makes this book worth the read. Get ready for lots of tense scenes of extreme danger on the sides of cliffs and in the middle of firestorms.

"Life deals out enough tragedy without people making it more difficult. Accidents happen and people die. One minute you're on top of the world. The next you're flattened beneath it."

I also love the role that faith plays in the story. The male main character is still hurt after a climbing accident resulted in the death of his best friend three years ago, but the author gives him a "redemption arc" while still acknowledging that not all endings are happy. The female protagonist has gone through struggles of her own, too, with her mother having committed su*cide after a long battle with bipolar. But together and despite all odds, Livy and Hayden are able to survive the dangers they face. Their story is not one to be missed!

As mentioned above, Yosemite Firestorm also includes lots of rock climbing and some themes on mental health (anxiety, PTSD, grief, loss, and bipolar disorder). <3

Yosemite Firestorm is definetly a page turner. As someone who lives near Yosemite, I appreciated the author's descriptions of the National park and what its like to be a ranger there. I was sucked into the story immediately and read it within two days. If you read this book you can expect to find:

- Rock climbing
- Psalms
- Survivalism
- Revenge
- Forest Fires
- Hiking
- Rescue Missions
- Forest Rangers
- Newfound Faith

Thank you to the author and Just Read Tours for the complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.

Yosemite Firestorm is written by Tanya Stowe. The book starts off with lots of action and suspense and does not let up throughout the whole book. I love reading books by this author. She does great research and seems very familiar to where she has her setting.

Olivia (Livy) is a park ranger and is covering a new territory while her friend and fellow ranger is out on maternity leave. She attempts to rescue an injured hiker and finds herself caught up in some sort of tangled corrupt mess.

Experienced rock climber Hayden is part of the search and rescue team that helps rescue Livy and the body of the injured hiker. He knows something is up and informs Livy’s boss about it. Hayden is told to stick close to Livy. They both find themselves in a fight for survival.

When Hayden is told to not alter the schedule he takes the climbers to their adventure to only find out someone is setting fires to try and smoke them out. Hayden and Livy find themselves responsible for getting others to safety.

Livy is so strong with her faith. She has had to overcome some issues and knows God is on control. Hayden does not know if he believes in God and has some deep hurt. I loved seeing this element in the story.

Thank you to the author, publisher and JustRead publicity tours for allowing me to read a copy of this book. All thoughts are my own.

I really enjoyed all the wilderness action in this suspense — and the fires were an extra threat that made things that much edgier. Loved all the rock climbing details too — something I’ve always wanted to do but never had the nerve to try! Very fun to get the armchair experience here.

Livy and Hayden make a great dynamic duo — if only they’d let their guard down long enough to explore what a relationship could look like! This is kind of a grumpy / sunshine romance. Livy has ‘Pollyanna’ tendencies, irking the more pragmatic and cynical Hayden to no end. Sometimes his exasperation with her is funny and sometimes I just wanted to smack him upside the head. But Livy holds her own and makes the best kind of impression on this skeptical hero by the end.

Lots of action and adventure with lives — and love — hanging in the balance.

If you are interested in a mystery, romance, drama this is the book for you. I wasn’t sure if this was my type of book when I first read the overview but was intrigued enough to give it a try. I am certainly glad I did because I was hooked after the first few pages.

Livy is filling in temporarily as a park ranger when in the short time she is there she has some series issues. From an altercation that she intervenes, to discovering a dying man, a wildfire that traps her, and being suspected of criminal activity; this book is a page turner.

Not to mention Hayden, part of the park search and rescue team who recused Livy from the fire. But both try to hide their feelings yet they are both are curious to find out who killed the man in the trail and set the fire.

I received a free ebook from the publisher and JustRead. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This one contains wow factor as fire is starting to surround on all sides and a plan of escape starts to become elusive. A firestorm would be extremely frightening and you will feel as if you are in the midst of it as you are quickly drawn into the story. Throw in other climbers that you are responsible for including some with injuries and villains setting more fires and you have nonstop action. I was glad for the romantic sparks that were flying to even out the story. I enjoyed this dangerous story that showed faith in the midst of it as Livy lived hers and shared with Hayden. It showed great courage on her part. I enjoyed this book.

Thanks to JustRead Tours and author Tanya Stowe for my copy of Yosemite Firestorm. From Love Inspired Courage, this book was a wild ride from beginning to end. I really liked both of our main characters, Livy and Hayden. The slow burn of their romance kept me turning the pages and I especially admired the look into Lily's faith throughout the story. I don't know much about outdoor hiking/climbing and that was an interesting component, and I really enjoyed the mystery/thriller storyline and trying to figure out who was behind the sabotage, fires and attempted murder. All in all, I highly recommend this one!

Yosemite Firestorm by Tanya Stowe is a wonderful, faith-filled story that you won’t want to put down! It’s a book you can easily read in an afternoon. The suspense and constant danger that the characters face make this a real page-turner!

The Love Inspired Suspense line of books are great for those of us who like to read suspense books with clean romance. The inspirational messages in these books add a layer to them that others don’t. Yosemite Firestorm clearly presents how faith in Christ can change your life. God never promised that our lives would be easy and without storms. But He did promise to be with us during the storms, and He is with Livy while she faces danger throughout the story.

The characters in Yosemite Firestorm are well-written and relatable. As you can tell by the title, the book includes fire. I think I speak for a huge majority of readers when I say that fire is scary! Livy, a Yosemite Park Ranger, and Hayden, a rock climber as well as search and rescue team leader, handle the fires surrounding them with skill and composure. I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t handle the “fires” in my life with much skill or composure! I’ve got shirts and mugs pointing out the fact that I overreact and am very dramatic. I eventually calm down and remember that God knows and loves me, and He’s got whatever situation I’m going through in His hands. I’d make a terrible park ranger. This is just one example how Stowe uses real life danger to present the message of faith and trust in God.

If you like reading exciting, suspenseful books with clean romance and inspiration, you will enjoy Yosemite Firestorm!

An engaging, fast-paced tale filled with danger, faith, and romance . . .

This story held my attention from the first paragraph to the last. The author has done an excellent job of immersing readers in her chosen setting of Yosemite National Park in California. I began visiting Yosemite when I was a young child, and Tanya Stowe's descriptions of the terrain, climate, and wildlife in the park are spot-on.

The rock-climbing scenes were just a few of the many heart-pumping events in the book. Add in the fire-fighting and helicopter action to thicken the plot. Finally, the mystery elements written throughout the story left me wondering who was behind all of the criminal activity and what was the motive?

The faith element of the story is strong and well-written. The book is completely clean in content and language.

Fans of inspirational romantic suspense will be pleased to find that the author has created a story that has all of the essentials necessary to make this a satisfying and memorable read.

Olivia “Livy” Chatham is a park ranger at Yosemite National Park. Wanting to relax after work, she heads for a hike at a quiet, favored trail. Only one other car is parked when she arrives. Shortly after the start of her hike, she smells smoke. A fire is ablaze nearby! She searches for the other hiker to get him out, but it’s too late. He’s dead, and she’s trapped.
Search and rescue lead, and former champion rock climber, Hayden Bryant is able to rescue Livy, but whoever started the fire is after her now, and won’t stop. But why? Hayden and Livy team up to stay one step ahead of the killer or killers, while trying to work out who is behind the constant destruction.
At the same time, Hayden is battling inner demons and self imposed guilt from a years-earlier climbing accident that claimed the life of his friend. Can Olivia show him that God isn’t to blame, but instead is the One who can free Hayden from his pain? Can the feelings developing between Hayden and Livy last when this turmoil finally comes to an end?
Author Tanya Stowe takes us on an action packed, heart pounding ride in Yosemite Firestorm. Settle down and buckle up, but I promise you won’t want it to end!

Can they stay a step ahead of fire...and a killer?

If you live in an area where wildfires are common like I do, you know the chill that runs through at the word 'Firestorm'. You know what it's like to watch the sky for changes and that there's a difference between the smell of 'old' smoke and 'new' smoke. Tanya Stowe brought it all to life quite vividly and Yosemite Firestorm was an easy novel to visualize as a result. When paired with the dramatic scenery of Yosemite as a backdrop and a mystery that will keep you guessing, well, it makes for some fast paced and entertaining reading.

As with the rest of Tanya Stowe's Love Inspired Suspense novels that I have read, Yosemite Firestorm was hard to put down. I just had to keep turning those pages so I could find out of my suspicions were true and whether they would all make it out of the wilderness alive. Now, of course, if you are a fan of Love Inspired Suspense like I am, it is your turn to find out the answers to those (pun fully intended) burning questions...

Yosemite Firestorm by Tanya Stowe is Love Inspired Suspense set in California’s Yosemite park.

When you pick up this book, be prepared to read the entire story in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down! The danger, the suspense, the characters … they combined to make a riveting read. I could almost smell the smoke and hear the roar of the fire. Livy’s perspective and faith is inspiring, and Hayden’s moment at the end of the story — I can’t say more without spoilers, but I loved it.

Another great suspense story from Tanya Stowe. I was engaged in the story from the beginning. The fire and descriptions of Yosemite brought the story to life. The main characters, Livy and Hayden, were well-developed and the slow-building romance added another element to their efforts to outrun the fire.

The storyline was filled with danger, suspense, teamwork, and climbing skills. The suspense had me on the edge of my seat and the ending was a bit of a surprise. Highly recommended. The character's faith in God came through their relationships.

I enjoyed every minute of time it took to read Livy and Hayden’s story. Yosemite Firestorm is a captivating and fast paced adventure. The strains of faith were woven so well amongst the suspense and romance, and I loved how Livy was determined to hold her own and help the group when everything went south. Hayden’s struggle with faith, and then his brave climb was inspiring to trust the Lord to carry you through.
Reading this clean romantic suspense brightened my day, even if it kept me up all night finishing it! I recommend it. I received a copy via Just Reads, my review is my own.

Thank you in advance to the author, Tanya Stowe, for providing a complimentary review copy through JustRead Publicity Tours. A positive review was not required nor requested, and all words are my own.

Believe it or not, I do have one of the author’s books on my TBR – Vanished in the Mountains, but this is the first book I’ve read.

When I began reading Harlequin Books back in 2000 – I was drawn to the Intrigue line which is Romantic Suspense. And, over the past 22-23 years, my tastes have changed (I still have some unread Intrigue on my TBR list though and still have a fondness for the line).

I was introduced to the Love Inspired line in 2003 when I got some “intro” books. I packed them away, and honestly – lost track of them. Then, in 2019, I was re-introduced to Love Inspired, and it wasn’t long until I found the Love Inspired Suspense line, a Christian version of what I enjoy.

So, being a fan of the genre – I’m drawn to it by default.

What also drew my attention – that cover. Eye-catching, intense, terrifying. Yet, despite all that – one cannot look away from it. The story is just as intense, terrifying, heart-stopping, and suspenseful as the cover appears.

Fire is the only thing that REALLY terrifies me and gives me nightmares. It’s truly a devastating and destructive force. Some say water is – but, even some water ravaged items can be salvaged – fire destroys. I can read a water-logged book once it dries. I cannot read a burnt one.

Anyway ...As someone who lived in California for about five years of my life (and returned off and on from 1991-1997; then from 2011-2019), I remember every summer with the smell of forest fires. It was almost a “summer begins” sign.

I don’t enjoy fires at all. I enjoyed the smell only because it reminded me of a fireplace (never had one), but heartbroken by the devastation (and death) it causes. I was intrigued by the glow, yet fearful of its approach. Naturally, I respect fire and electricity. One cannot be too cautious around it. I’m even leery around my gas stove preferring an electric one.

My last summer in California (1985), I remember being in a swimming pool with my mom and watching as the mountain range glowed red from the forest fire. I often wondered how fast it’d move, and if anything could stop it.

In 2016, a fire took out the historic Summit Inn on the I-15 in the El Cajon Pass. My mother and I had traveled by there before and after the fire. Incidentally, in 2017, my mother and traveled to Knott’s Berry Farm between the Canyon 2 fire and multiple Los Angeles fires. Seeing the resulting devastation cannot be put into words. It’s almost surreal.

Naturally, I approached this book with excitement for the story, yet fearful.

Obviously, as it is about a forest fire that will no doubt be triggering for some people in the affected areas, as well as those who’ve been in and survived a forest fire.

In addition, this also touches on a tough subject for me – mental health, particularly Livy’s mother who had severe issues resulting in a suicide. While my mother hasn’t contemplated it – dealing with a parent with mental health issues is very difficult, so I truly understood Livy’s position.

Stowe’s bio reads: “fills her books with the unusual – mysteries and exotic travel, even a murder or two. No matter where Tanya takes you – on a trip to foreign lands or a suspenseful journey packed with danger – be prepared for the extraordinary” – that is EXACTLY true with this book. I honestly didn’t know what to expect.

I will say that I was drawn right in and couldn’t stop reading. It was definitely one of those “day reads” back from my Intrigue days.

Stowe introduces us to:

🏞️ Olivia (Livy)
🧗🏻‍♂️ Hayden
🏞️ Dale
💍 Paulette (Hayden’s ex-girlfriend, now married to Boyd)
🔎 Aaron (state investigator with an angle)
🧗🏻‍♂️ Boyd (Married to Paulette, up to no good)
🚗 Dennis
🚓 Maggie (ISB Investigator, goes on the “trail”)
🪢 Ron (connected to Boyd)
🚓 Larry (ISB Investigator)
🚓 Mitch (ISB Investigator)

Right off, Livy is looking forward to a hike and sees a car parked in the parking lot. She’s hoping to have some time alone on the trail. It to be honest – that’s pretty dangerous as readers soon find out.

The car belongs to Mr. Miller who’d had an altercation with Dennis (a store employee). Miller is grateful to Livy and ends up giving her an El Capitan charm for her bracelet that he finds.

A fire grabs Livy’s attention. After calling it in, she attempts to locate the man given how close the fire is to the vehicles. Search and Rescue is dispatched, that means Hayden will be sent. She definitely has some feelings towards him, yet he doesn’t seem to know she exists.

Livy locates Miller who has been injured. The man is alive and trying to tell her something. At the time, she doesn’t think much of it. And, despite CPR, Miller dies holding her hand before SAR arrives.

Hayden has his own past. He used to be a successful and famous climber until an accident claimed the life of his friend. Now, he’s content with his SAR duties and teaching people to climb.

After the rescue, Livy is honored for her efforts. But, Hayden’s ex-girlfriend warns him – there is trouble ahead for the ranger. Paulette is married to Boyd, a man who wants to break Hayden’s records. More beneath the surface lingers.

It’s apparent Boyd knows something or is planning something.

It isn’t long until that “something” comes in the way of “questionable allegations” towards Livy by Aaron, the state investigator as the fire was intentionally set. Hayden gets Livy out of there. Livy’s boss says their team is coming. But, to keep Livy out of the way – Dale has her work with Hayden. It’s clear Dale doesn’t trust Aaron.

It’s clear that Hayden doesn’t trust Aaron either. He and Livy of them are wondering if Dennis is connected given his skirmish with Miller. And, Hayden believes Boyd might be involved because of what Paulette has said. Dale isn’t sure Boyd is involved, but remains cautious.

The focus shifts to Hayden’s climbing class. A man, Ron, seems to have an issue with Livy. That night, Hayden notices who Ron is having dinner with, upping Hayden’s suspicion.

The ISB team of Larry, Mitch, and Maggie clue Dale, Hayden, and Livy into a bigger investigation that the FBI is looking into. An investigating Miller was part of.

While the six people know something is wrong, they elect not to change much up with their routine so as not to arouse suspicion. This inadvertently sets up a literal fire storm.

Hayden, Livy, and Maggie go along on the class – but a fire breaks out, and threatens them, trapping them from escaping. Ron knows something and tells Hayden and Livy. The fire is no accident.

As Hayden and Livy try to get the group – with a few injured people – to safety, they’re running from a deadly fire, as well as some deadly men with only one intention – kill whoever is in their way.

But, despite a rescue looming – Hayden and Livy are both trapped by not only the fire, but their pasts. Stowe keeps us reading until the very end with twists, turns, and revelations.

And, after closing the book at the end – the heart-stopping action and suspense had me looking for a place to rest.

Despite the longer chapters, the fast-paced action and vivid writing kept the story moving. It could also be that it was quite realistic at times – almost placing me right there. I felt the faster I read, the faster I’d get out of there.

Like Livy, I could definitely relate to the “being falsely accused” of something. It is not a good feeling going from hero-zero. But, it was great that she had support with Hayden and Dale.

Also, the ending with the bad guys is definitely intense, though it does leave one wondering. It was nice to see an “informant” actually make it out. Stowe did a wonderful job describing the sound and visual of a fire.

I definitely not disappointed with this one at all! I am definitely going to have to get the author’s backlist titles, as well as being on the lookout for her future LIS books. This is definitely more on the suspense end than romance though.

Given that is this is from the inspirational line, it will have some elements of the Christian faith in it. It isn’t preachy in tone, but it is part of one character’s life.

Fans of the author and genre might want to check this out! It appears it is a standalone read so readers don’t have to worry about needing to read the books before or after.

Yosemite Firestorm was a wow page turner! A gripping suspense mystery having you wanting more. Livy and Hayden’s story was very exciting and held a special place with me as my Dad was a forest firefighter. It was neat to go behind the scenes in fire situations like this. I learned a lot about forest fires as well as Yosemite, a place I hope to visit one day. Don’t miss your chance of reading this amazing story!

I am by no means a nature girl, but there is something about a good story set in nature that sets my heart aflutter. Maybe deep down I wish I could be more of an outdoorsy type and so I live vicariously through stories like Yosemite Firestorm. Maybe that’s why the descriptions of the hikes were some of my favorite parts. I’ve never went on a real hike before, but I’ve always wanted to, and reading about the waterfalls and the other scenery inspired my imagination, and set the perfect tone for the story.

Let me just say, I can’t even imagine how terrifying a fire storm is! Tornadoes are scary enough, and I’ve dealt with a few in my lifetime, but when you add a fire component to it, it is almost unimaginable! I felt like I was right there on the mountain with Hayden and Livy, experiencing every spark, the chemistry between them smoldering as much as the embers from the fires, as well as the suspense from being chased by menacing bad guys, which never let up. I did feel like Hayden was way too hard on himself for his past “mistake” but I also loved his redemption story. The ending was perfectly sweet but overly predictable, which sadly kind of ruined it for me. I was hoping for a little twist that never came.

Overall, this was a quick, enjoyable read that would be the perfect weekend novel to get lost in. Strong characters, wonderful suspense, and picturesque backdrop, even if it is a little charred, and you’ve got yourself one entertaining story.

Yosemite Firestorm is a storm of a story! It’s going to get you in the feels but also has you on the edge of your seat the whole time! I did not want to put it down! If you’re like me and love a good suspense book you’re going to love this one. Plus it has some romance as well which always makes it better. Oh, and you’re never gonna guess who’s behind it all!

Ready to learn a bit about the book?

The main characters are great. They both have some past issues that they have to overcome and learn to trust again as well as love.

Hayden was at the top of his career when everything went wrong. He lost his best friend and climbing partner. Now he does not free climb and he takes others climbing so he can be in control. He can’t trust God because God didn’t help him before. When one of my “enemies” is back in his space he knows something is going on but hates that it includes Livy who he tries to hide his feelings.

Livy tries to save a man who fell during a climb but she didn’t know this simple act would put her in a killer’s crosshairs!

You’re going to love this! Grab a copy and read it today!

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Yosemite Firestorm. This is an incredible book. It's well-written, action-packed, and full of drama. I really enjoyed the characters. You're going to love this book.

Yosemite Park Ranger Olivia (Livy) Chatham goes to one of the hiking trails after work to unwind. She sees a car in the parking lot, Mr. Miller. Mr. Miller had been in a situation a few days ago when she had to intercede. As she climbed she could smell smoke. The fire was a long way off but the rangers were all on alert as that could change. The smell of fire increased and she could see a fire behind her in the parking lot moving up the trail quickly. She and Mr. Miller were trapped and unable to climb down. She called it in and Hayden came to her rescue but Mr. Miller died in her arms.

Search and rescue leader Hayden Bryant rescued Livy. He went a few days later to see her receive an award for risking her life for another. At the ceremony his ex, now married to his rival tells him that the fire was set and someone is after Livy. He really cares for Livy but can't let her know. He is broken after his best friend fell to his death.

An exciting journey to find out who is after Livy and why they are trying to kill the two of them. God has a plan for these two broken souls, a good plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a plan for peace and not destruction. Give Him your heart and watch Him turn your life around.

How could two experienced rock climbers escape a firestorm created by enemies sworn to kill them? In Yosemite Firestorm, you'll find Hayden and Livy are the main characters. They both work for the Park Service in Yosemite. Hayden had been a professional climber until he was blamed for a death. Livy was happy with her job but her love life was in ruins.

A hike, meant to help her relax, started a horrible progression for Livy. She comes upon a hiker, who has fallen to his death because an arsonist has set fires to push him in that direction. Livy lowers herself to the rock ledge to rescue him, but it's too late. This is just a small taste of the suspense and drama to come.

As more fires are strategically set, the danger becomes one of life vs. death. When Livy needs help she turns to God, but Hayden isn't sure about what to believe.

As the reader learns more about the men who want revenge, the fear is increasing. This page-turner will make you want to read into the night to find out what happens when Hayden and Livy are trapped.

This exciting page-turner is strongly influenced by three Fs: fire, fear, and faith. Forest ranger Livy Chatham and rock climber Hayden Bryant find themselves in a terrifying race to escape a forest fire that is raging through Yosemite National Park. If this fire was started deliberately, then what was the motive? Worse still, is the responsible party now trying to harm Livy?

Author Tanya Stowe vividly captures the physical and emotional traumas that are experienced by Livy and Hayden. I could visualize the flames eating up the terrain, hear the overwhelming roar of the winds, and smell the smoke that threatened to overtake their lungs! I wasn't familiar with the term fire tornado but Stowe's words helped me imagine just how terrifying it would be! She also weaves a strong faith thread into her thrilling plot and the results are pure reading enjoyment! Yosemite Firestorm is a wonderful romantic suspense novel.

I received a copy of this book from the author. There was no obligation for a favorable review. These are my own thoughts.

LOVE Inspired books are a favorite of mine. I like that the books are short, easy to read, and come in many genres. The Suspense series is truly a favorite of mine. Tanya Stowe is also a wonderful author and I enjoy her books tremendously. Yosemite Firestorm is her newest release and I had the opportunity to read it.

Yosemite Firestorm had suspense from the very first pages. I was hooked and couldn't stop reading. The setting is Yosemite National Park and the book focuses on characters Park Ranger Olivia Chatham and Hayden Bryant, who is a former Rock Climbing Champion. I really LOVE how Hayden comes to the rescue of Olivia when she is in the middle of a Fire that causes the death of a hiker. Olivia, as Park Ranger, must investigate the Fire. Hayden decides to help her and a Romance evolves. The book is one of Faith, Romance, Suspense, Mystery, and Trust. There were so many twists and turns and the suspense kept me on the edge of my seat. I also enjoyed the romance intertwined with the Suspense. I HIGHLY recommend this book! I will probably read it again very soon as it was that GOOD! WONDERFUL BOOK!

I will admit right up front that I do not like fires. Considering that we have heated our home with a wood-burning stove for nearly fifty years, that may seem a bit strange but I have never been one hundred percent comfortable with it. For those reasons, Yosemite Firestorm was particularly suspenseful for me.

The well written narrative included excellent characterization and vivid descriptions of Yosemite. Featuring a park ranger and a former champion climber, the story hits the ground running and barely stops for a breath until the very end. It has enough danger, action, mystery, and suspense to satisfy even the most avid suspense junkie. An unexpected romance and a strong dose of faith top it off to make a satisfying evening read by the fire.

I enjoyed Yosemite Firestorm despite its focus on fire and will certainly plan to read more books by this author.

Thank you to Tanya Stowe and Just Read Publicity Tours. I was given a complimentary ARC of this book. All thoughts and views are my honest opinion.

Olivia "Livy" Chatham is a park ranger at Yosemite national park. One day after work she decides to go on a hike. She notices another car in the parking lot and feels annoyed. She just wants to relax and not have to talk to anyone. As she heads out on her hike, she smells smoke. She soon realizes a hiker is in danger and does her best to find him. Unfortunately, the hiker is badly injured and dies while Livy holds his hand.

Search and Rescue Lead Hayden Bryant helps rescue Livy and recover the hiker's body. Something shady is going on and Hayden reports it to his boss. His boss tells him to keep an eye on Livy. He feels she may be in danger.

The book is a wild ride of trying to outrun fires and outsmart sinister plans. The book includes themes of faith, trust and hope. There is a good balance of suspense and romance. A very enjoyable book!

This book was so good. I loved how the author was able to seamlessly blend faith, romance, and suspense.

I was totally lost in Livy's and Haden's story. I can not even imagine the fear and devastation of a Firestorm. With vividness in which the author describes it, I can start to picture the flames and overwhelming winds. It was described in such detail that I felt like I was going to breathe in smoke.

I loved that I haven't really read a book with a plot like this (or with anything involving a Firestorm). I also really appreciated the faith element. With a plot like this, I cannot imagine there not being anything to do with Faith. They both have so much to overcome with each of their pasts when they meet, which made it more realistic to me.

Overall, great book. I am so glad I was able to get a chance to read it.

Thank you to Tanya Stowe and Just Read Publicity Tours for an eARC of this book. A positive review was not required. All thoughts, views, and opinions are not my own.
