Jess' excursion to earth yields grave consequences when her boss hinders her with some intense penalties. However, it will take more than that to keep Jess from breaking the rules, especially with the mystery of why she alone can travel between worlds motivating her...
Jess and her friends are being held in a “void” which is basically like a prison for breaking into the records cell. All of a sudden the void breaks and you see this monster killing reapers left and right. He’s called “the end” and he’s here to restore order between the living and the dead. We also find out that Death himself is missing, and now it’s up to Jess and her friends to find him before things get worse in the afterlife.
This just keeps getting more and more interesting! Where’s death and why did he leave? Why was Jess shown her birth but not her death?
While it's true that the previous issue left me quite unsatisfied, this one did a better job developmentally, throwing out clues and puzzles in a slightly more digestible way. I feel like the story's progressing in a weird way, but there's still enough of a catch in the development to keep me interested. This time, time flew by. Okay, you being mushy might be more scarier than that skeleton face you make when you're mad. Can you go back to the skeleton face?
Things have become increasingly more mysterious not knowing who's on who's side with some of these characters, or Jessica Harrow connection with the living and death himself. I think the scythe featured in this series are so cool l👀king and also the Monstrous let her go, you giant sack of bones! Grim Reaper. There's many unanswered questions and still nothing yet has been revealed. hopefully, in those final pages will be something satisfying enough that was worth the wait.
Intriguing fun stuff I'm very excited to see where the rest of the story goes from here.
