Torn between his love of money and his growing desire to be a better person, Levi is unsure how to fix his hot mess of a life. Complicating matters is his growing attraction towards his uptight stepfather. Mark Candy is most certainly off-limits but that isn’t stopping Levi from craving something he’s spent years running away from… a daddy.
Meanwhile, Dwight is battling taboo desires of his own. He wants nothing more than to find out if Levi was telling the truth about Josh being the bigger man. This unhealthy obsession with Josh is driving Dwight crazy, tempting him to cross lines he shouldn’t, and with certain young men he shouldn’t. If the ruthless alpha male isn’t careful then he might just cross one line too many.
Candy Boy is a steamy gay fiction series that must be read in order.
Zane lives way down under on the west coast of New Zealand; the wet side. He is a fan of ghost stories, sport, ducklings and nights out that usually lead to his head hanging in a bucket the next morning.
He enjoys creating characters who have flaws, crazy thoughts and a tendency to make bad decisions. Zane’s stories are emotionally-charged and don’t shy away from darker themes. After all, they do say there is no light without the dark.
The Candy Boy series is such an indulgence. It's dark and twisted, funny, sexy, taboo, and so many other things I can't even describe. Six books in and still no resolution on Levi Candy's world, but I don't mind. More, please, Mr Menzy!
I have stuck with this series and every installment seems to be better than the last. I love the fact that there is an actual arc to this series and that the slow burn feeling I get are by no means boring. In fact, book 6 has given me a lot more insight to the characters and made them even more real. It is so difficult to review this without giving away spoilers. This being said, I hope I don't have to wait quite so long for book 7. What an honor to read this series...my great guilty pleasure.
Is this book filled with taboo subjects, yes, yes it very much is. Is it also surprisingly sweet sometimes? Also yes! Mark and Levi are adorable. The other host of characters make this book so interesting. Cant wait to read the next one!
