All that’s left is for us to testify against Otto—and find my missing father and grandfather. They’re still alive after twenty years, I can feel it.
When Otto is released on a technicality, everyone I love is in danger again. He’s hunted me through past lives, using his power and wiles to get whatever he desires. I see through his game now, but he knows my weakness.
Otto promises to return my family if I help him find the paintings stolen from the Gardner Museum, one of the biggest art thefts in American history. I don’t trust him to keep his end of the deal, but I don’t have another choice. He’s my best lead to track down where dad and grandpa are—and more importantly, when they are.

The 1920s are an era of post-war enthusiasm, where hope for better times and economic growth thrive. It’s the peak of art and artists, jazz—and gangsters. I should have known that’s where Otto sent my father and grandfather. And I’m sure he’s behind a string of forgeries that started this whole devious plot. Now I have to find him without blowing my cover and altering the present.
Despite that, I’m falling in love with the ’20s; I just wish that Blake was with me. Running into him in his past life isn’t making it easy to “leave no trace.” To make it worse, Blake’s mother has gone missing, too. I’ve heard that she’s in Paris, but is Otto with her or still in New York?
To put an end to this, we have to catch Otto for good and get everyone home. But the problem is how to get back to the present. And do I even want to return?

I loved this trilogy, have reveiwed the three books individually, and now there's the chance for readers to get all three at once. That's always my preferred way of readinf trilogies and series, where I can indulge in a reading fest, immerse myslef in another world for ages, and really “feel” the story, be there with the characters. Sometimes its a shame to come back to the real world!
I love romance that has something extra, and though the genre selection didn’t suggest anything other than straight romance, it’s far more IMO, a beautiful romance with elements of paranormal and suspense.
Adeline comes from a family with extra talents, her sister can mentally “push” people to do what she wants, and Adeline has an ability to see the history from touching an object, and find out more about the people connected with it. Its not a gift that's brought her family happiness though,family, friends and her job have all been affected and not in a good way.
She’s decided that she’s going to ignore her gift, and look for something normal, a straightforward job, and try to live as everyone else does.
I loved Addie, felt for her when the job she enjoys turns out to bring her into real danger. Then there’s Blake and what a guy he is. The connection between them sizzles, steams and feels intense, but of course Addie knows he’s hiding things, not least because she suspects he has abilities similar to her sister, and the things of his she touches are blank. That just doesn't happen, has been done deliberately to hide things....so she tries to avoid him but he keeps on asking, and somehow she finds herself wrapped up in a relationship with him.
Though they're the main two characters there are many others, each with their own important place in the story, and adding to the cohesivness and reality of the novels.
It's a fabulous read, something so very different in the Fantasy/Paranormal genre which is dominated by stories that are just a couple of hundred pages or less, too often of a Vampire or Were hundreds of years old finding his Mate, in a simplistic, sickly thin story * roll eyes * so its a real treat to get a book I can really get stuck into, lost in the magic (!) of the story.

You see the danger and the consequences of what happens when fear is driving you. You see a romance blossom and grow along with the added element of time portals which made this an even more unique and thrilling read. Its amazing how any interaction no matter how small or insignificant can change the course of history or someone's destiny.

I had the first book on my TBR list when I received an ARC for the trilogy, binge reading is so much better!! The author has done a great job on world building, building suspense and some romance thrown in. I highly recommend this author and this trilogy, you will love it!!

Best books I’ve read in awhile
This book is beautifully written. I was in the mood for a good romance and I got it; as well as an amazing story. Unfortunately it set the bar so high I will have a hard time finding another story that is as good!
