Told from first person point of view, our female protagonist is accosted from the get-go by a figure she dubs Death. Looking like the Grim Reaper himself with skeletal limbs and pale skin, he pulls her from her comfortable life and into a terrifying journey. Since ancient times his kind have evolved in secret alongside humans due to a magical pact our ancestors made. As natural disaster is impending, he hopes that the main character will release his kind from the binding of this pact in exchange for their help in the coming days

Amazing story! Love the suspense and. scenery. I did not know what was going to happen from one page to the next! Highly recommend.
