The warriors of the Nature Hunters Academies should be celebrating. By joining forces, they were able to defeat the sinister demon, Dolion, and his battalion of witches. But no battle is won without cost. During the fray, two of their own were lost. Not killed, but taken. Aston, the air elementalist, was literally snatched from the battle by a woman riding a ferocious dragon. He’ll soon find himself imprisoned in the dragon realm, and he and his captor share a bond he can’t begin to understand. Shelly Smith, mate to the descendant of pharaohs and powerful fire elementalist, Ra, has once again been kidnapped by Osiris himself. It seems the lord of the underworld doesn’t take too kindly to being bested. Needless to say, Ra is not handling it well, and it takes all of the combined strength of his friends, Elias, Tara, Liam, and Gabby to keep him from tearing after her on a suicide mission. The dark elementals have momentarily been defeated. But the forces of light aren’t foolish enough to believe their enemies are gone for good. The dark ones will bide their time, hiding, waiting for the opportunity to strike again. Will the weakened light elementalists have the strength to resist them again when the time comes?

Hello, Readers. My name is Quinn Loftis and I am lucky enough to call myself a novelist. In 2011, I self-published my first novel, Prince of Wolves with no expectations, other than my friends and family might purchase the book out of pity. Now, several years later, with 30+ novels and counting under my belt, Prince of Wolves had been downloaded over 1 million times. Though I was hesitant at the time to submit my work to the world for their scrutiny, I'm so glad I did. It made my dream of making a living by telling stories a reality.

I'm blessed to share my household my wonderful husband of more than twenty years (who also co-writes with me on occasion), three beautiful sons, a French Bulldog, and an oversized tabby cat. I love hearing from readers, so if you have any questions about the books or my journey, don't hesitate to hit the 'Contact Quinn' in the menu above. Thank you so much for taking a chance on my books.

I had the luxury to be an ARC reader. It was my first time and I am blown away. The way this story continues to grow and change, leaves me on my toes. I cried, I laughed, I got angry, and at some points I smiled like an idiot. Trust me people around me were like “what’s so funny?” I said pick up her book and see ❤️ you cannot adequately describe this story. You can’t do it justice. This is another slam dunk! I can’t wait to see what happens next!

I've been chosen as an ARC to review this book:

I cannot express how amazing this book was! This book is not what I expected, but in the best way possible! When I say you aren’t going to expect the ending, I mean it. This is probably the best book in the series, with all of the emotions, story lines, and the plot twist. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

I had the privilege of being an ARC reader for this book. I am a huge fan of Quinns work and am continually blow away by what she writes. Tamed by Air was no exception, I absolutely loved it. It had me on edge, it had me rolling with laughter and wanting to cry along with the characters. The way Quinn pulls you into the character's world is amazing. Tamed by Air is everything a great read should be. An amazing edition to the Nature Hunters Academy Series and I personally cant wait to read what happens next in this series.

I am honored to have been a ARC for Tamed by Air.
I feel this book gave us a better understanding of the Soul Bonded . I would like a little more back story about each bonded mates . Also the Dragon realm . The constant bantering an friend connection was a welcome distraction.
Can't wait for book 5 ,I really need to know what happens next with Osires/ Kimba ,Ra / an the Dark King.
Quinn Loftis has done it again . No wonder she is an Award Winning Author. Totally love all of the series that she writes. I highly suggest you binge read all of them 😉

I had the extreme pleasure of getting to read an ARC of this one. I knew going in that there would be twists and mind blowing surprises but just WOW! Once again Quinn has truly sucked me into her elemental world and I couldn't be happier to let it happen. Learning more about the soul bond is great and then boom more dragons. I just finished this one and I want more! Well done to one of my favorite authors. If you have not started this series I highly recommend picking up the first 3 books and binge reading to catch up.

I was chosen as an ARC reader for this book and I'm so beyond thankful to have the privilege to review it. Quinn takes us back into the world of elementalists and added dragons! This installments of the nature hunters was the best so far. Quinn allows her readers an experience unlike a lot of other authors. She puts you into the story with her words. Her descriptions are so complete that its as if a movie is playing out in your mind! There were so many emotions with this book. Anger, disbelief, sadness, excitement, love, happiness, and at one point I screamed out "HOLY DRAGON BALLS!" If you haven't started this series, do it now. You will NOT be disappointed. Plus...dragons! Hello!?

I loved the realism of the struggles the characters were going through throughout this book it gave them great depth. I loved the addition of the dragon characters and the surprising twists and shocking revelations were mind blowing, this book was highly entertaining and enjoyable book to read I definitely recommend reading this series or anything by Quinn all her books are great reads.

Two weeks have passed since the battle at Devil’s heart against the dark royal elementals, to recap Jax gotten eaten by a dragon, Zuri killed by Osiris, Osiris kidnapped Shelly taking to her to hell because of his obsession to make her his, Aston got claimed by his dragon tamer Rory who took him to the dragon realm, Ra going crazy without his mate Shelly so Aviur the light fire elemental had him bound to earth to prevent him doing something wreckless and is gradually losing control of his powers and emotions giving into the darkness. Rory is furious over the betrayal of Dani whom she thought was her mother and has raised since she was ten years old, can’t trust humans not even her own mate who she’s keeping at a distance especially because she knows he wants to leave and her darkness and brokenness inside of her lashes out at him causing a massive fight which leads him to leave the dragon realm. Shelly is suffering constant pain separated from Ra especially since they share a soul but Osiris is determined to win her over he has her actual soul he plans to return to her once she chooses him. Rory best friend and dragon Kimba gives Rory much needed advice about not kidnapping people and letting the darkness in her control her and stop blaming others and encourages her to go after Aston and make a mends. Aston reunited with his mates and catches up with the events unfolding. The dark elementals not happy with their defeat. Viscious orders Tucker to keep a look out for Rory since she’s a witch and wants him to befriend her. Tucker and Rory meets takes her to a neighbourhood of dark elementalists, Aston senses her and he along side their friends meet up with her, tucker tried to tie her up but she got the best of him, Rory and Aston make amends and Ra turns up and kills tucker shocking everyone with his black eyes since it’s tuckers fault that Shelly was thrown into hell in the first place. His friends naturally concerned since black eyes only occur in demons, dark elementslists with the blackest souls and dark elementals. Ras tells them the deal Shelly made with Osiris of her soul to leave hell the first time and that they’re sharing a soul but there’s a catch if either cheats in any way not necessarily sexual but confusing emotions which is happening to Shelly the longer she’s in the underworld and Osiris influence Shelly will become Osiris mate and he will become a demon like his ancestors. When the conversation gets too heated ra portals away and finds himself at the dark fire king Viscious home who informs since he killed one of Viscious men his portal led him to the dark fire king who mentions that he is becoming corrupted the kill was entirely justified. Offers a deal that he will take him to the underworld since ra is still bound to earth in exchange that he will swear to w blood oath that when he will be called upon and must answer the call and do whatever he’s asked of no matter what. Shelly learns that Osiris has been manipulating her emotions she’s furious. Rory seeks help from the dragons the dragon king Sepheron agree to help he burns the binding runes off of ra, they open the gates of hell and fight armies of demons making their way through to find Shelly and rescue her however a lot of demons escape hell, Ras ancestors warn them to leave otherwise He will arise, the royal light elementals join the battle, Osiris closes the gate and the dragon king Sspheron tells Osiris that he isn’t the true ruler of the underworld Lucifer is, and that he is infect a forgotten fifth royal elemental corrupted by the underworld is given a choice to come to the dragon realm and try to be cleansed and remember his past or face Lucifer who is now awake and with so many demons free it’s only a matter of time before the chains binding him to the underworld will break and he will bring hell on earth if freed, the others go to make battle preparations with the demon invasion, kimba shifts from her dragon form infront of Osiris and tells him she’s the light queen of the soul elementals and that she’s his mate.

********** Contains Spoilers**********

I enjoyed this book. I’ve been a fan of Quinn’s since I was first recommended Prince of Wolves (Grey Wolves Series) on Amazon back in 2013. I’ve read that series multiple times since then.
Aston, air elementalist is abd*cted/saved from the battle of the light elementals/elementalists agains the dark elementals/acolytes, the demon lord Dolion and the witches who sided with darkness by a girl who rides dragons. She’s Aston’s soul bounded mate so even though his friends try to rescue him from claws of the dragon, he tells them to stop as she’s his and he’s hers. Rory, a witch whose nearly consumed by darkness, bonds with Aston straight away.

Aston tries to slow things down so they can get to know each other before sealing their bond but she’s adamant that she knows what she’s doing so they seal their bond. Afterwards there’s a distance between them and Rory basically leaves Aston to his own devices. Rory, is bonded to her dragon BFF Kimbra and their interactions completely crack me up throughout this book. As Kimbra doesn’t pull any punches where Rory’s actions are concerned. Aston and Rory have major blow up and say some horrible untrue things by both of them, they know it’s wrong but it’s like something was controlling them.

Rory completely loses it and there’s an out of control storm because of Rory’s magic. Kimbra helps Aston to the portal to go back to the human realm. As soon as Aston is back in the human realm the distance between him and his soul bonded Rory causes them both pain but since the portal to the dragon realm in locked he can’t do anything in the mean time. After Aston wanders the forest he can feel Rory’s soul calling out to his, as she’s scrying him to see how he’s coping without her. Rory hasn’t had the best upbringing as she was used by a witch pretending to be her mother. Luckily Rory found Aston as together they have a chance to stop the darkness from completely overtaking her soul.

I’m really glad that Aston and Rory found their way back to each other. Wow, the lengths that Ra would go to get his soul bonded mate Shelly out of the Underworld, and Osiris’s clutches. He’s completely bad a*se and I’m looking forward to finding out why his eyes are turning black, just like a demon during the next book. I’m glad that Tucker finally got what was coming to him. Man, Rory is fiercely protective of herself and those she cares about. She’s completely bad a*se in her own right, and it’s awesome that she fought the darkness in her soul for so long. I’m glad that Elias, Tara, Ra, Shelly, Liam, Gabby, Aston and Rory have all found each other, they’re each others found family and the people that they can trust to have their backs.

Just look what they all did in order to save Shelly from Osiris’s clutches. Rory fits in seamlessly with the other girls. It’s the first time that Rory has had friends/family that actually give a sh*t about her, well apart from her bonded dragon BFF Kimbra. Wow, what a major twist at the end of the book, that I really wasn’t expecting. I really enjoyed getting a sneak peek of Veiled by Smoke, which I’m really looking forward to reading it when it’s released and finding more about soul bounded magic, as they’ve all been called to the dragon realm to learn about their magic and how to harness it in a fight, especially against evil. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author to everyone.

Imagine walking out your door, wherever you are, looking around and every single thing you see has another side, a hidden world, a different purpose for its very existence. If you can begin to imagine that, then you can begin to imagine the world of the Nature Hunters Academy Series.
I guess the title Tamed by Air is okay but this book focuses on much more than Air Elemental Aston and his lady-witch love Rory. Ra – if you have read the three former books in this series say it with me – RAAAAA! Yes, Ra and Shelly are prominent (thank goodness because I needed more Ra), Elias and Tara are here, and Gabby and Liam aren’t about to be left behind. I found myself tense not because of the fight scenes. They were quite enjoyable! I was tense because I wanted the multiple romance situations resolved and it just wasn’t happening fast enough! Old foes showed up. And I still found myself mourning some who had been killed off.

There are definitely surprises in this book...serious surprises. The second half of this book swept me up and carried me along. My husband kept trying to talk with me, but eventually he learned. I was neck deep in the underworld, the top world and the dragons’ laird.

Tamed by Air was as much about the ongoing trouble caused by Osiris stealing Shelly and trying to make her his mate as it was about the clumsy mating between Aston and Rory. I think we have much more to learn about Rory and I can’t wait to get her back story. There are so many directions this series can go. I look forward to taking the twisting ride.

I was an ARC reader (thank you, Quinn Loftis). It is always a privilege to get a sneak peek at your work. I look forward to reading the final copy on my kindle as well as reading my paperback version. I need to have more than one option when reading your books and Tamed by Air is no exception. I must have one of your books at my fingertips anytime I travel and still I need the old-fashioned book to hold in my hands to mark up (not really, I refuse to put a mark on my hard copies).

If you haven’t read any of the Nature Hunters Academy Series, you can enjoy this book, but I would recommend you start from the beginning.

Quinn never disappoints. No matter the story. I was given an ARC to read and I found Tamed by Air just phenomenal. The band of students and the love they have for their significant others is mesmerizing. They would jump through the gates of hell- literally- for each other. There are great plot twists and with Ra you never know what he will do. Liam trying to always be the jokester and Gabby ready to stab anyone. We left of in the last book with Osiris kidnapping Shelly again to gain her love but will he succeed or will Ra find a way to save her again? Lets not forget that Aston was whisked away on a dragon will he finally meet his fate or will it be his mate? I promise this is a good read and its a book once you start you can't put down. I highly recommend you start from the beginning of the series if you haven't read them yet! BUT YOU REALLY NEED TO CHECK THIS SERIES OUT!!!!

Quinn Loftis never fails to impress…. And as always I’m on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next. First of all, if you haven’t read the other books in this series - take a pause and go read books 1-3. They are good reads and crucial to the plot. Then, remove all expectations of where this book will take you. Because I had to put it down, got angry at what was happening, walked away, rushed back with a fresh cup of coffee and dove back into the pages. Twists, turns, dragons, elementals…. This book has it all. As is typical of Quinn’s style, her characters captivate and quickly become your friends and you can’t wait to see what happens next. So dive in, and enjoy. Quinn’s old and new readers alike will enjoy this book and be waiting (holding our breath) to see what happens next!

I've been chosen as an ARC to review this book:

ANOTHER ONE! In my best DJ Khaled voice LOL Quinn had done it again. Completely fucking me up in a book. It had me laughing from the banter of Gabby, Tara and Rory but also devastated for Ra and his battle to get Shelly back. Quinn's books are the ONLY ones able to complete reck me emotionally. I literally finished this book in less than 24 hours which definitely qualifies it a a page-turner. The fact that Quinn is able to include so many different types of supernaturals in a series flawlessly is shocking. Plus, Osiris is daddy. I said it. Shoot me. I'm looking forward to continuing to follow this series, if its anything like the Grey Wolves series - I'll be calling my lawyer for the emotional torture Quinn has inflected on me. Again.

Holy moly

When Quinn writes her stories there is so much of herself given to them all. She adds humor, angst and a smidgen of heartache. But in tamed by air, even though she add some of these there is always a message. Never give up, forgive and love with everything you have.
Her message is believe in the greater power and in times of need leave it to Him/Her (in this case mother Gaia) to give strength and help with what ever the trouble is.
The more I read in this book, I had a feeling something was shifting...not telling but when you read it you will understand.
This series does not disappoint.
Come join the Quinnverse are get lost in the world that she so brilliantly scripts out.

Well let's see what can I say that hasn't already been said about one of the Quinn Loftis books. MASTERPIECE well not original but it works. This book will leave you with lots of questions that will drive you crazy. You will want to cry and laugh alot. Kimba is a hoot and the way she interacts with Rory is priceless. We get to see old characters evolving and new ones emerging. Without discovering pain and heartache Ra wouldn't be himself he learns some truths in this book as well as Shelly does. O is the biggest surprise of all the things that come from this book he will shock and jar you. This book will definitely leave with the feeling of NEED MORE QUINN.

In all honesty I thought the three books before this one would give me a good grasp on how this book would go. I was very wrong. I was not ready for the ups and downs and loops she put me through. I felt like I was on a roller coaster to be honest. In all my book reading years I have never read something that made me yell out “holy shit” until now. I actually scared my husband who was driving at the time. I am still rocking back and forth from the turn of events at the end. If I had a better phone case I probably would have threw the phone. Quinn Loftis is an amazing writer if you have never read any of her books go do so now what are you waiting for?!?!

I was selected as an ARC reader for this book. Thank you. This book, what can I say.... It leaves you wanting more. Books 1-3 were fantastic. Seeing Tara, Elias, RA, Shelly, Aston, Gabby and Liam all grow together along with all the drama and mayhem is great. Along with the battling light and dark elementals and their issues and drama. And that punk Osiris... Sheesh, enough said. But this book took things to another level of tomfoolery! LOL. I'm being very vague because I want to give away no spoilers. I want you to read it for yourself with my blessing. Go forth and read this masterpiece! You won't be disappointed! Thanks Quinn...

Tamed by Air takes everything the series has built and makes it soar. Aston’s imprisonment in the dragon realm introduces a new, fascinating dynamic, especially with his mysterious captor. His calm, air-based demeanor contrasts beautifully with the wildness of his situation. Meanwhile, Ra’s desperation to save Shelly adds a gut-wrenching edge to the story. The friendships among the elementalists truly shine here—they're no longer just allies but family. The threats are more intense, the lore richer, and the emotion deeper. Every character is tested, and while the darkness lingers, so does the unwavering light. A powerful continuation that leaves you breathless for more.

ARC Review

It’s no surprise that I say Quinn is a rock star. I do say that you will be lost if you don’t or haven’t read the other books to this series. You are taken on a journey and introduce to things that make you go “What did I just read?” Quinn definitely keeps you on your toes that’s for sure. I love every minute of reading her books, and this new series just tops the cake on what she does and brings to us. Quinn has been given the gift of making us feel like we’re part of the world that she is writing. We feel what the characters are feeling or experience as if it’s our own.

WOW another home run from Quinn Loftis. This story continues the theme of hilarious wise cracking friendships, but with the wonder of another soul bonded couple truly finding each other after being snatched quite literally at the end of the previous book it was wonderful seeing their relationship bloom and introducing to the rest of the gang was brilliant. There are some real revelations in this book, which I didn’t see coming, this series just gets better as you find out more! Loved it and bring on the next book!!

This is the long awaited 4th book in the Nature Hunter Academy series. Quinn actually recaps what you need to know as you go along in case you haven't read the previous ones...but I would recommend to read the whole series because it is definitely worth it! I was dying to find out what happened to Shelly and Aston! I enjoyed seeing the fierce friendship uniting the light elementalists. They had me in stitches with all their banter. There is also plenty of romance....who wouldn't want a soul bonded partner who loves you as much as Ra loves Shelly😍 I really felt for Aston when he tried to work out his relationship with Rory. Quinn really knows how to get you sucked into the characters life, struggles and adventures. And don't get me started on the unexpected twists! Once again I cannot wait until the next book.
Thank you Quinn for accepting me in the ARC review team

Holy wow just like every other book that Quinn has written this one didn't disappoint. This book will draw you in and keep you wanting more. I devoured this book!!! Rory is a great addition to the group though the start was very rocky she fits in great. So happy that Shelly and Ra are back together. I still want to throat punch Osiris but I think Kimba has that covered and can't wait to see how things progress with them and with the group dealing with Lucifer awakening and demons running around. This is a must read!

I was chosen as an ARC reader for this book (just now realized I've forgotten to fill out the form after finishing the book. My bad, Quinn!)

To be honest- this book brought me back to the roots of why I love Quinn's writing. I don't know why, but particularly within her other series, the last few releases have not resonated with me. This book did. I loved watching the progression of the characters and how flawlessly the supernatural world came together.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Tamed By Air and Quinn Loftis did not disappoint.
The wait between book 3 and 4 was so worth it, as the saying goes "you can't rush perfection".

Tamed By Air keeps you on the edge of your seat and I will admit I had to put it down for a while at one point as the fear over what was gonna happen next was making me nervous ( a Quinn specialty 😉)

another amazing 5 star read I look forward to book five

I was lucky enough to be chosen as an ARC for this book and I can honestly say Quinn had done it again!!!!!
I do recommend first that everyone reads the first 3 books. That being said this book was absolutely amazing. I absolutely loved reading about the characters from the first 3 books and getting the new characters and without giving anything away, lots and lots of snarky comments from an unlikely source!!
I don't know how Quinn does it, but I'm glad she does!!!

WOW! This took me a little bit to read. I already knew that Quinn's book would be an emotional rollercoaster to read....AND SHE DIDN'T LET ME DOWN....lol. With that being said, as always Quinn writes such wonderful stories. With an exception of a couple book subjects that she has written, I have read and loved her books. The Nature Hunters Academy: Tamed by Air is no different. If you haven't read The Nature Hunters Academy series, then you are missing out on this wonderful adventure.
