About the Author

Sandra has been writing poems and short stories since middle school, and writing full length, self-published novels since 2010, using several pen names.

Writing full-length steamy romance series has quickly become a love for this author. Her stories have elements of humor, family issues, suspense and personal growth. Her books take the reader right into the bedroom with the characters to feel the same intensity as the lovers do in the story. Sandra's goal is to have the reader rooting for the main couple...and she doesn't disappoint.

You'll find this author working out weekday mornings at ungodly hours. She's gluten and dairy free, and is probably the only person on earth who doesn't do coffee or chocolate.

Her favorite movie is Bohemian Rhapsody, her favorite tv shows are Friends and The Connors. She's also a die-hard Rocky fan and has read the Fifty Shades trilogy and watched the movies more times than she cares to admit.

Sandra is married with two daughters and is a lover of all things four-legged, including her own two furbabies.

The Ford Brothers series focuses on five swoon-worthy brothers who each served in the military, and lost their billionaire father suddenly, which left them to run his airline after his death. Each book features one brother, but they make appearances in all five novels. In case you haven't guessed, the titles in the Ford Brothers series have been inspired by hazard warning signs, an idea the author came up with after completing a health and safety course prior to starting the series.

The Miles for Love series is about unexpected love, and it features the Lynch family; four brothers and one sister, who are each passionate, imperfect, and are just like you and I...but way sexier and with much more interesting lives. They are very individual and each have a unique story to tell.

The Rock Star Romance series is inspired by the death of Eddie Van Halen on October 6, 2020. It is a standalone series unlike any other this author has written. Look for this series! It's available now!

Storm meets Dez at Docs office is where this story picks up. Thought this was going to be about Blaze and Doc since she hasn’t broken her news to her boyfriend yet. There seems to be three stories going on here which had me a little confused. That seems to be the way this author works, I’m not complaining, I’m sure it’s actually going to be about Dez and Storm at this point. This couple is so incredibly hot, the chemistry is off the charts. The only problem is that Storm is a hot mess and needs help. Dez thinks she can take care of him but it’s a disaster. They’re a hot couple but I just don’t feel the love and I’m not sure why. I think there’s just too much going on in this book. I’m honestly so confused I don’t even know to say. There’s Storm, his drugs, Roxy, Doc, Dez, the guy who was swindled and one that got shot. On top of that we got the word “man & babe” in so many sentences that it’s just distracting. I didn’t love this story, or stories. The other books ended in a mini cliffhanger which wasn’t bad because the main story was complete, but this story ended in a cliffhanger. I going to rate this book three stars.

Unchained is book four in the series and centers around Storm and Desiree, likeable characters, who pretty much fall in love at first sight - well, Storm, anyway. Desiree has been in love with Storm since his first album came out. Storm has fallen off the wagon but Desiree has been through it all before with her father and is sticking by Storm's side. The question is whether Storm can be there for Desiree when she needs him most.

One of the things I like most about this author's writing is the way she keeps the main characters from previous books not only relevant but in an active storyline of their own, even though they are not center stage. The timeline is such that certain events in one book might be happening simultaneously with events in another. This series is addictive and interesting enough to put up with the inevitable dratted cliffhanger that leaves you impatiently waiting for the next book. 4.5 stars.

Thank you to Sandra Alex for providing me with an ebook copy of Unchained for me to read and review. What an addictive roller coaster ride of a story! I was hooked right from the first chapter! I loved how Alex wrote the story though multiple perspectives to help tie up the loose ends that were left from previous books in the series and show the many characters relationships with one another. The character development and strength shown by each of the main character's was excellent. The struggles they faced definitely hit a nerve and might be difficult for some people to read. Overall an excellent addition to the Big Bands, Big Hearts series and I am anxiously awaiting the next book so that I can figure out the cliffhanger ending readers are left with.

Storm is apart of A band that plays with two other bands. He into drugs and alcohol but on stage he is good. He sees a therapist they call her Ray. He met Dez though Ray Dez buy all his albums, goes to every concert and someone who into him. When Dez and Storm meet it electrifying . Dez A interior designer by trade and lover of Storm. The relationship grows where they love each other. She put up with his drinking and drugs want him to stop.. Dez makes to his concert around her work. Something happen to Dez that bring him off everything because he visits her at the hospital and doesn’t want to see him that way. The ending is nothings you would guess

Storm meets Dez at Doc's office, and they hit it off right away. They agree to take things slowly. He's still dealing with his additions, but that doesn't scare her away. I love this couple. They're not perfect, but she's strong enough for the both of them when he stumbles, and he reciprocates when she has a health crisis. The book is busy, with parallel stories from three bands, their members and significant others. And holy crapoly - what a cliffhanger!!! Two more books to go in the series, and I can't wait! This is book four in The Big Bands, Big Hearts series and it is Storm and Dez's story and it is definitely a must read. Wow this is definitely my favourite book in this.series so far even though at times it is exhausting and boggles the mind with the back and forward of the three bands along with all the drama it entails but I still couldn't put this book down as it kept my attention throughout and on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next and then you have a cliff hanger ending that have you needing the next book.

This is my absolute favourite genre rockstars, bands etc the first bit of this story is about Blaze and then there’s a bit about Slick then the story leads with Greg aka Storm who see’s the woman of his dreams walk into his psychotherapist office. Desiree says that he looks like Storm from the band Daniel’s List and Storm tells her that he is him but Desiree knew who he was she just didn’t want to fangirl over him. There is so much more going on in this fantastic story I loved it and I can’t wait to read more and I definitely recommend this book/ series.

I'm really on the fence with this story. It goes back and forth between a number of characters which typically I am not a fan of. I did find it a bit frustrating that almost every chapter ended on some sort of "cliff hanger". It got a bit repetitive and lost its importance to me.

The story of Dez and Storm itself was so real for me, it really played on my emotions having seen similar situations around me (not rock stars of course). Sandra is an absolute Master at drawing you in and making you feel ALL the feels along with the characters!

I look forward to seeing what happens next!

Hang On Tight

This book may be a little harder to follow for some since it revolves around three bands but it’s a rock romance you want to get your hands on. It gave me everything I love in rock romances with the sex, drugs and rock and roll. There’s drama and plenty of steam that made this a one sit read for me. If you get the chance read the other books in this series because they were five star reads for me as well. Now I look forward as to what’s to come.

Couldn’t Put it Down!!!

I love books that have a lot going on. This story is one of those!! This author packs it all in - a complicated story line, great characters and plenty of steamy scenes!!! I love how the stories are so interwoven and interdependent! But the ending . . . I hope the next books comes soon!!!

Wow, Unchained had me completely entranced and Captivated the entire time!!!

So much drama and turmoil happens that I don't know how the band members of the 3 bands can handle it. The ending oh my, that ending had me on the edge of my seat!!!.

There's a lot going on for all 3 bands and in this book we have more pov's than usual so it really is like a whirlwind. There are multiple storyline happening simultaneously and at points I was struggling to keep up. It has the expected cliffhanger and I think this is the biggest so far.

I hate cliff hangers I really need to check books over better. Also Storms addiction is a little unrealistic. No way could he slide back and then just quit with out withdrawal that would affect his ability to function. Well I hope the next book answers all this .

Book 4 of the Big Bands, Big Hearts series is the best so far. The 3 bands get together to go on tour and so many of their lives are in chaos. From sex drugs and rock and roll to paternity suits and embezzlement, this story will grab you and hold you until the end. And what an ending! The cliffhanger will make you gasp. I can't wait until book 5. Sandra Alex has a winning series here.
