Lessons from Pete does not simply deal with the death of a parent. It is also lesson in parenting, guidance, and Assurance of Salvation. It compels the reader to know this assurance in order to provide comfort to his/her family upon departure from this life. It also compels the reader to use that assurance to train their children to make the right choices, both as children and adults. Lessons from Pete can be encouragement and comfort following the loss of a loved one.
