I enjoyed the first set of three Hope Cove books very much! The characters (although they are so real it is strange to think of them as characters) are immediately engaging and I just had to know how their lives went. The second set of books was even better. For all their quirks and the growing pains they work through, I became more deeply fond of the people of Hope Cove and it was with some reluctance, I began reading books 7 and 8. I didn't want to leave the people behind; they seemed so real. But the last two stories are even better! The books expand on everyone I felt I had come to know and I will enjoy rereading the entire series again in a year or two.
When you read a long series it is a commitment. When I got to book 6 I was slowing down but I made it to book 8 and I am so happy that I did. These characters are so wonderful and relatable. I couldn't get enough of Scarlet. I had wondered about her many books ago and was glad that I was right. Seeing how she over came her adversaries made for wonderful reading. I am so glad to have found Ms. Ellis as a new author for me. So worth the time. Enjoy!
I have read all The Hope Cove series and this was my favourite. My very favourite character in all of the Hope Cove books was definitely Scarlett and her book was emotional. It had me crying and laughing once I started it it was hard to put it down. I do hope Hannah Ellis writes more Hope Cove books I really advise anyone to read these books you won't be disappointed.
As much as I enjoyed all of the Hope Cove Series and really felt connected to each of the characters and their stories, this was my favorite book! Watching Scarlett grow in her personal friendships , and as a successful author and business owner was very intriguing. And to see her mature as she struggled to come into a deeper understanding of herself and her gifts made me proud enough to stand and cheer! Lovely and eye-opening! Hoping for Book 9.
I read all 8 books in this series and enjoyed it. There were a couple of characters that got on my nerves a bit, but in the end, they basically redeemed themselves. I really liked the fact that there was a decent amount of romance in the stories, without the need for sex scenes. Overall, I would recommend this series.
I have enjoyed The Hope Cove series emmencily. I love how the books interlock, and enjoyed the journey for each couple. I would highly recommend this series.
I absolutely love this series! I appreciate the characters and that I could actually see them and feel connected. These books are a good read and I would love another book with Scarlet and Fraser.
Easy reading with unexpected twist and happy and sad and moving. Very descriptive with a link to other books but don't spoil it and makes other books more descriptive by filling in some gaps
I have truly loved ths series, the characters are brilliant, believable and real.. I have laughed and cried in all the books. They are romance but not sugary sweet.
I absolutely loved this complete series. I felt as if I knew each character personally and I really cared about them, their lives and relationships. I'm so sorry to have finished the series.
